This is my third time coming back to Automotive Excellence, and I’m honestly so grateful I found them. It is not easy to find an honest, reputable shop, especially one so close to home. As a young woman driving a German car, I have definitely experienced places that talk down to me or try to upsell unnecessary repairs. That has never happened here. They are always transparent, kind, and extremely responsive. They clearly explain what actually needs to be done versus what can wait, which I truly appreciate, especially as a recent college graduate where putting a huge amount into my car is not always easy. Every experience has been professional, fair, and stress free. I have nothing but great things to say and constantly recommend them to my family and friends. If you are looking for a trustworthy shop, this is it.

Had issues with my truck, and they were highly recommended by my brother. I was well taken care of! They are on top of everything and kept me informed every step of the way! Worth every penny! So worth it that I ended up taking my jeep to them too!

I needed tires for my LSV, this shop advised that their suppliers were not able to find the tire size needed, if I was able to find them this shop would broker the install. I found the tires and Automotive Excellence fulfilled the promise of brokering the tire install. Thank you!

Great efficient service and reasonable pricing. I bring my 2017 Honda Civic here for all my maintenance and car needs. It’s running strong at 115,723 miles. Friendly staff who explains things thoroughly. Their online scheduling makes it easy. Give them a call.

I had the tires changed on my EV. I appreciate having a small business in town that genuinely cares about their employees and their customers. My car seems happy with new tires, and I know if anything doesn't that Andy and Peter are right down the street.

I had a major problem, radiator blew on Frwy I was towed to Automotive Excellence n after a couple of days they informed me of the damage. I approved the repair. Done very quickly. The place is very professional n does excellent work. I was happy with the repair. But other things started coming up. They informed me I would need more work done but since the car is a 2000 Toyota Camry do I want to pay the added expense. I told them no. It runs but who knows for how long. I appreciate there communication n even though it was not a good outcome. I would take my cars to them. They communicate with you in a timely manner, they are reasonable. I’ve taken the last 3 cars I’ve had to them n will continue. Andy n their crew are very experienced, knowledgeable n courteous n very friendly. Great repair shop. Peter and the rest of the team at Automotive Excellence are the best. They are HONEST and don't sell you things you don't need. I used to do everything myself but I trust them to do the do the work right at a fair price. I dont take my cars anywhere else. They provide great customer service, reliable work at a fair price.

Great place. Small parking lot so there wasn’t room for my car, but they didn’t seem to mind that I had to park in the alley. Clear communication and expectations set before service. The link they sent with pictures and details was so helpful. When I came to pick up my car, it was parked far down PCH. Probably because of the minimal parking but it was a little strange. They didn’t let me know, I had to ask where my car was. All and all, I’d probably go back knowing what I know now. The price was decent. Not the cheapest I’ve paid but also not a total rip off.

I highly recommend Auto Excellence for vehicle repair. They explain everything in detail when your car needs work and send you a quote in advance. Everyone that I’ve dealt with their has been very professional.

Our BMW wouldn't start. After an unsatisfactory experience at a dealer, I had the car moved to Automotive Excellence. They promptly diagnosed the engine problem and did the needed repairs. The total cost was less than the dealer wanted just to pull the valve cover and investigate. I am totally pleased and will use Automotive Excellence in the future.

With the dread of impending repairs on my vehicle ensued, upon meeting w Pete, it did not take but a few minutes to realize, that obstacle was rather quickly exonerated, as Pete mentioned each step of the entire service & when it would be ready for pick up. It's hard to find honest mechanics. A good friend referred Peters team who did a break inspection and told me my brakes had 70% left while the dealer told me they needed replacement. I run my business the same way. We haven't advertised in 30 years. I've already referred people. Trust is as important as competence. Give them a try!

I really appreciate the service from Auto Excellence. Whether it is for a flat tire, a tune-up or something else, they work hard to fit you in and make your repairs happen! I have a BMW and they use only factory-approved parts. The last time I had my car serviced was before a road trip. They made sure everything was in order before I left. They told me I wasn’t yet due for an oil change so they did not do it (with my permission, of course). I am so pleased to have found them. They are honest, fair, responsive. The best I have ever worked with!

I brought in my Ford F150 and my wife’s Prius and they did amazing work, at a very fair price with a quick turnaround. I will not go anywhere else now. They never try to upsell you, and when they say, the car will be ready, that is the time it’s ready. I dealt with Pete and he was great. The whole staff seems friendly and hard-working

Had a nail in my tire. Drove right in and they took care of it immediately. Was also able to order 2 new tires on the spot for placement the next day. Very friendly and helpful. I will be back when needed!

Amazing service and communication about repairs that were needed. They went above and beyond to get my car in for service when I was having suspension problems, including a last-minute loaner vehicle and updates across the several days it took for parts to arrive for installation. I cannot recommend Automotive Excellence more highly!

Peter and the guys always do a nice job, and are trustworthy and reliable, and reasonably priced...all the qualities that provide customers peace of mind in this business. They have cared for four vehicles for us over the years, including our newest, a 2024 Hyundai, Santa Fe, which is the most high-tech vehicle we have owned. I highly recommend them and their work.

The staff are very friendly and professional. They delivered my vehicle in a timely manner and remounted my tire and loaded my spare in the trunk for me. They even gave me a tshirt! Thank you gentleman:) I got recommended by a friend and if I ever have any tire issues, I will be returning.

My 12-year-old Jeep started an engine ticking noise, which I learned can be a common problem. After doing some research, I found this shop very close to my work so it was convenient for me. Luis explained to me that he was familiar with the problem and gave me the confidence that his shop would repair it correctly. Luis and the manager, Peter, both were very personable and great with their communication. In addition, I needed back brakes and the oil filter housing was cracked, which was also replaced. I feel the price was competitive and the repairs were done within a week. Highly recommend this shop!

The team at automotive excellence do a fantastic job. They’re honest, reliable, and turn around repairs quickly. I had an original estimate on my car of $4400. After discussions with the team I decided to move forward with the repairs on my car. Two days later they found out that my car didn’t actually require $4400. Instead of still charging me this money they told me what was actually owed and saved me a ton of money. They’ve gained a customer for life.
