I had a nail puncture in my tire and brought it to the Pep Boys in RSM, CA. They repaired it quickly and explained everything clearly. The service was smooth and professional from start to finish.
I want to especially mention Tila at the front desk. Every time I’ve worked with him, he has been super polite, patient, and friendly. There is also another team member I’ve worked with before whose name I forgot, but he has been just as courteous and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about customers here.
They originally quoted me $26 for the repair, but when I came to pick up the tire, they didn’t charge me at all. That level of honesty and kindness goes a long way.
This isn’t my first time coming here, and every visit has been a positive experience. They are punctual, helpful, and trustworthy. I will definitely be returning here when it’s time to replace my tires. Highly recommend this Pep Boys location in RSM.

Dylan at the front desk tried to SCAM my mom by claiming that her 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 takes 9.4 quarts of oil when it actually takes 7.4 quarts — an extra $130 charge for oil that wasn’t needed. When I confronted him with the correct specs, he refused to admit his mistake or apologize.
To make things worse, Dylan lied and said he was the manager, even though he clearly wasn’t. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Trying to take advantage of someone—especially a customer’s mother—is beyond unacceptable.
This place clearly hires dishonest people who prey on customers, and Dylan should be fired immediately for his shady behavior. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this shop.
So today was my first time using this store. I called out of the blue with no appointment, and they took me right away. I dealt with a nice young man, Henning, he was super helpful. I appreciate the quick and friendly service.

Randomly went to Pep Boys location in RSM to see if they could install headlight bulbs on my E Class. Dylan noticed the wiring in the housing was bad and has a potential fire hazard. He temporarily fixed the wiring and installed the bulbs. He went above and beyond to ensure the job was done correctly, he had great customer service, and showed
me the issues with the headlight housing. I would recommend this location.

Pep Boy service at the Rancho Santa Margarita location are fast, efficient and honest. Prices are also reasonable. Battery test and replacement for my 2019 Mercedes GLC 300. Had the parts and availability for install.
Henning and the crew were able to accommodate me waiting for an oil change and rotation while on my lunch break. They finished with time to spare. Informed me kf recommendations and I was out the door no hassles. I'll be back.
Don't go there for a oil change they told me it would be $300. For oil change and radiator flush. When they were finished they told me that they couldn't do radiator flush and charged me $15.00 a quart when you can buy rotella 15w40 anywhere for $5 a quart and my truck is a diesel which holds 15 quarts so the total for oil change only was $250
You can get a diesel oil change at Walmart for under $100
Technician who services oil change is inexperienced and damaged my oil plug and my oil pan on my BMW! Do not recommend this place because they do not take ownership of their mistake and try to blame other auto shop for their shortcomings! Disappointed…..all they needed to do is admit fault and to do the right thing for customer! Customer service and accountability for a mistake, terrible!
Great service. Easy to schedule. First time ever that I brought my car in for service and they told me there was nothing wrong with it. Inspection was free. They took care of the issue which was just a minor adjustment. Very pleased.
Pep Boys has always been the only place I trust for my vehicle needs. Richard and Dylan always do an excellent job and give an outstanding service.

As always, the staff was professional and informative, my only issue is the lack of staff at this location. While there, multiple were informed that the work could be done but due to short staffing it would take longer. It's bad when your store manager has to be out in the bays because he is 1 of 2 on shift. My advice to Pep boys, hire 2 more staff per day and double your work output and remember these are the employees who line the CEOs pockets with their hard work and dedication to their Job and making Pep boys look good through thier hard work. Pep boys workers 10/10, Pep boys Upper management not so good. Maybe do a check on your regional manager, unless he is related to someone higher up, then we know why he's there. It's an easy fix but judging by how terrible your stocks are doing, you're probably making bottom cuts so the CEO can get another raise. This is my review along with some advice but who's really listening.
The team at Pep Boys on Saturday morning were great. They were super helpful and honest - turns out, nothing was truly wrong. I really appreciated the honesty, advice and guidance vs. trying to be sold something I didn’t need. They were great.
Henning, manager of RSM Pep Boys, and his mechanic (didn’t get his name) took care of me and replaced all four of my tires quickly. I was pretty much a walk in customer and they fit me in with several other jobs that they had scheduled.
I have purchased tires at this location in the past and had great service. Recently I received a warning light about tire pressure. I swung by without an appointment in the morning and Richard the manager immediately offered to take a visual look at the tires and top them off with air to the appropriate range. It's nice the team is willing to offer clients with advice and help on a moment's notice.
I ran over a piece of rebar on the side of Santa Margarita Parkway turning into a gas station, and it completely ruined my tire. When I searched "tire shops" nearby, another one came up first, so I went there looking for help. They had a tire in stock but said no time to install it, wanting me to come back in the morning though I live 25 miles away, and I didn't want to drive all the way home on my spare donut. They mentioned this Pep Boys was close, so I went there. They were much nicer from the moment I walked in, and didn't have the tire in stock, but agreed to install it if I bought it from the other shop, even though it was within an hour of their closing time, so that's what I did.
Richard, Henning & Sam were so pleasant and helpful, and I made it home with a new tire & wiper blades at much less cost than I expected. They definitely helped turn a really bad day around. I'm grateful, and highly recommend them!
I’ve used this Pep boys in the past, & was great. Now, not returning until this new manager is gone. Made appointment the day before to get rear bakes changed and the drop off in am. Had very busy day and couldn’t return call until 1:30 when I got off. They hadn’t touch it. Sat there for 3 hrs now. And changed brake disk that were still good. Took that old disk and not returning until changes. Not happy.
They did a great job with my car. Henning C suggested the correct tire, ordered it and ensured the work is completed in a timely manner - clear & concise communication. Definitely recommend!

Great place for alignments. Tanner and his guys took extra care in getting my truck set up correctly. Communication is very proactive, as he called me while the truck was up on the rack and explained what they were looking at and asked if I was alright with what they could do. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring a friend or family members car here.
This Pep Boys Auto Services is close to my house. I have used Pep Boys many times and they are always courteous and professional. They are also reasonable on prices. They offer discounts on things like brake repair. I have never had a bad experience with this Pep Boys. I would highly recommend this place
