I appreciate how they worked with my crazy schedule to get an appointment for me. They did the maintenance that needed to be done in a timely manner. They were upfront with the time it would take. I love how they have popcorn to munch on while I wait and I always leave with a sparkly clean car!!!

Amazing service and care. Amanda made the experience a great one for us. She was thorough, organized and very personable. Our Toyota Camry hybrid had an engine light come on and they diagnosed the battery needed to be replaced. Not only was there good communication, we received a video of the vehicle showing the concerns and an explanation from the car service technician. There were some other items that needed to be addressed so the car was in the shop for a couple of days. When we received it everything was well repaired and they washed the car. We will continue to use this service center for any other car needs we have in the future. Thanks to the entire team for taking good care of our car.

Dishonest to the point of being predatory. Went in for regular service. After inspection, they listed over $10k of "high priority" repairs. The website described them as safety concerns. I talked to the service agent about each, and it turned out: - Some were performed on my car last year, but they forgot to check. - Some had nothing to do with safety. The agent said they would give me a smoother ride (my car already drives smoothly). - There was one item that they said they like to replace every X years, and that mine had never been replaced. I asked why they wouldn't have identified this in 10 years of previous inspections. He said he'd check my records to see if it had been replaced, which implies he didn't really know that my part had never been replaced. Seems like I caught him in his lie. Ended up only paying for $3k of their i recommended items.

My service advisor Manny is great. Works with my wife and I to get the important repairs done under budget. Highly recommend him if you own a Toyota.

Great service, better than expected. Heather helped us to communicate details, schedule, get the service and repairs done. During six years we had two free warranty services here and one paid service at 80K for rav4. Communication is easy online and over text messages. They provided all the reports, videos and after we requested agreed on some discount. Probably we could get a better price at nearby service center, but we wanted peace of mind regarding the parts and the quality. Very happy and highly recommend.

I’ve always liked Toyota cars, but unfortunately, I can’t recommend this particular Toyota dealership. When I tried to purchase a car here, they added an unreasonable amount of “premium” charges. I was required to purchase a camping set and a mini refrigerator as part of the deal. Even after spending two hours at the dealership until closing time and explaining that I didn’t need those items and only wanted the car, they wouldn’t allow it. Recently, I visited Newport Lexus Service Center, and their service was outstanding — I would highly recommend going there instead.

I had a great experience here! Zuleima helped me today and was super professional, patient, and honest. They explained everything clearly about the services I requested and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work. The service was quick, and I felt confident leaving the shop. I really appreciate their kindness and expertise.

I bought my 2025 Camry here. I had initially had a problem with the radio. Ruben the mechanic was great to figure out the problem and is the only mechanic I want my vehicle looked after when I take it for maintenance. This type of workmanship is what makes this dealership overall great as well.

My wife and I went to AutoNation Toyota Irvine to buy a Toyota Land Cruiser. We end up buying a GLE 350 that was on the lot. After couple of month we had A/C issue. Their service center provided us an excellent service and replaced the Condenser. Samantha was very courteous and to our surprise they wave the service and parts cost of $1063 Dollars since we bought the SUV from them. The Mercedes was for my wife. I have my heart set on a Land Cruiser. Before long I am going to trade in my Infinity M35 to new Land Cruiser. We fall in love with AutoNation Toyota of Irvine. Next time we are in the neighbourhood I will take the service Center some Donuts. Samantha, Noah, Sara, and Israel are the best. :)

Manny the service writer deserves 5 stars he was very professional and his follow up was incredible, Although my service issues on my 25 Crown Signia were not able to be addressed because One issue is the way the car is designed. The other issue they are working on. Great Service Dept I highly reccomend Manny

Exceptional experience! First time with Toyota and couldn't be happier. Very easy drop off procedure and I waited in the lounge where they have comfortable seating and several office cubical spaces. Then I was blown away by a video that was sent to me of a complete walk through of all the inspection points done while my truck was up on the lift.

I brought my 2023 GR Corolla to AutoNation Toyota for a recurring cylinder 2 misfire, and while the entire process took about one month from drop-off to pick-up, I’m thankful for how it was handled. My service advisor, Natasha, worked hard to get Toyota Goodwill approval to cover the cost of the short block and parts which was a huge help considering the scale of the repair. Communication had its ups and downs at times, mostly because the technician had to go back and forth with Toyota corporate for verification at every step, which understandably slowed things down. That said, the quality of the repair was excellent. Big shoutout to Cesar Quintero, my technician, who not only replaced the short block but also had the cylinder head tested and reconditioned. He clearly took pride in doing the job right, and it shows — the car feels solid and smooth now. Thanks also to Gabriel, who supported the process and kept things moving. If you’re dealing with a complex issue, this team has the experience and care to handle it right, even if it takes time. Update: I originally left a positive review after my GR Corolla had its engine replaced at AutoNation Toyota of Irvine in April 2025. My advisor worked hard to get Toyota Goodwill to cover the parts, and I paid nearly $3,700 in labor for the job. At first, I thought the repair was solid. Unfortunately, when I later brought the car to an independent shop for clutch service, they found serious workmanship problems from the dealer’s repair: several critical bolts in the drivetrain had been left loose or damaged. The shop had to replace the hardware, resurface parts, and reassemble everything correctly at my expense. When I raised this with Toyota of Irvine, they told me they would not cover any of the corrective work because I hadn’t towed the car back to them. Given the severity of the mistakes, I did not feel safe returning to the same dealer that caused them in the first place. It’s frustrating: the staff were polite and helpful during the process, but the actual quality control and accountability fell far short of what I expect from a Toyota dealership. If you need major engine or drivetrain work done here, I strongly recommend having a trusted shop double-check everything afterward.

I took my blue Toyota Camry hybrid in for oil change and tire rotation at 3:30PM on Friday, 9/5. When I was given the car back around 5PM, I drove out of 9101 Research Drive, Irvine, planning on going to 5 highway. In the driveway I thought I heard a small squeaking sound, it was difficult to hear. As I reached Research Drive, instead of turning left to go to the 5 highway, I decided to make a U-turn back into the Toyota center to investigate the possible squeak. As I finished the U-turn, the possible squeak turned into a load squeak and the car started bumping and rumbling. I stopped the car and looked around the car. The right rear tire was falling off. I took pictures. Only one bolt was holding the tire on, instead of 5. I walked back to the service center and reported that my tire was falling off. First, the associate, joined me and I showed her the tire falling off. Then mechanics came out with a jack and bolts that were missing from my car, elevated my car and removed the falling off tire. Damage was seen, including broken screws, to the interior components that hold the tire on. The mechanics put the tire back on with the bolts they brought out and drove my car back into the service center. I walked back to the service center with Natasha and told her I’m glad I U-turned and did not go out onto the 5 highway, which could have been tragic to me and others. While the service provided from this one event was poor, once the issue was revealed, the entire auto nation staff handling it exceptionally well. The associate and managers took full responsibility, acting quickly and responsibly to handle the damage to my car, give me a loaner car, and apologize for the error. I appreciate that professionalism and acceptance of responsibility. Thus, while the work on my car recieves 1 star for the potentially tragic error (fortuniately not), the staff receives 5 stars for their handling of the error.

I have a 2013 4Runner. I had an oil change and routine maintenance. The service was excellent. Gilbert did a great job communicating between the technician and myself. The vehicle runs great.

I had such a smooth and stress-free experience with AutoNation Toyota compared to my past visit at Capistrano Toyota. At Capistrano, I was quoted over $1,000 for new tires, which felt overwhelming and left me questioning why I was not provided any other options. At AutoNation Toyota, I worked with Gilbert and immediately felt the difference. The quote I received was much more reasonable, and the whole process was quick and straightforward. What really stood out was the transparency—they sent me a video walk-through from the mechanic showing exactly what was being done on my car. That made it so much easier to decide what repairs needed to be taken care of right away and what could wait until later. Gilbert and the team made the whole experience simple, honest, and professional. I left feeling confident in my decisions and in the work done. Thank you, AutoNation Toyota!

08.11.25 - 08.15.25 Braulio & Omar gave exceptional customer service. Braulio was professional, courteous, and friendly. I really appreciate the way he explained my auto issues that made it easy for me to understand what was wrong with my car and the repairs needed. I appreciated him checking my warranty to cover the costs for my repairs and giving me a loaner car. His service exceeded the excellent expectations of Auto Nation Toyota Irvine Service Department.

I spoke with Wesley on the phone about my car and he offered very clear and concise advice about how to move forward with it. He kept me up to date on the services and made the experience as a whole very easy. Natasha was my service coordinator and she was so kind and answered all of my questions. I personally feel intimidated when it comes to getting my car serviced because I don’t know much about cars, but Natasha was so warm and treated all of my questions like they were valuable. I had an amazing overall experience and I would recommend AutoNation Toyota of Irvine to anyone!

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and to have my timing cover leak repaired. I was told every day that the warranty adjuster would come in to inspect my vehicle and then I was told that the adjuster was unavailable. I would have been happy to leave my vehicle longer if I was provided a loaner car but was told the only way I could receive a loaner would be if I purchased it and that I would get the opportunity to reimburse my fee after the repair was approved. After being told that my advisor could not get me approval for a loaner I was not confident that the process of reimbursing my loaner would be any easier than what I was currently engaged in. The only service performed was the oil change I payed for, not the warranty repair my vehicle needs. I’m very disappointed not to receive the service I’ve been paying for from the dealership I bought and financed my vehicle from. I’m very hesitant to buy another vehicle from them at this point and I will not be purchasing another warranty through auto nation again

Picture this: It’s my birthday, I’m driving down the freeway to pick up my friend from the hospital after a surgery, and the most horrible scraping sound erupts from below my car. I’m panicking, I know I need to get off the road as fast as possible, I’m pretty sure it’s my skid plate as I’ve had problems with it before. Luckily I’m able to get off the freeway, but it’s 5:30pm and there’s only one car place open that’s close enough that I’m comfortable driving there. A Toyota service center. One problem. I drive a Honda Civic. I don’t have a choice, I just have to rely on the kindness of strangers. My friend is counting on me to pick him up. I pull in, loudly scraping their intake room floor, and probably looking a little wild eyed. A no nonsense looking woman is giving me the appropriate amount of confusion and pity as she asks what she can help me with. I explain my situation, in the background I see/hear a mechanic do a double take and say “that isn’t a Toyota”, but the kind woman tells me to give my keys to the man next to her and they’ll take care of it. Without missing a beat, they have my car up off the ground, skid plate removed, and my tires’ air topped off. I didn’t even have time to sit down, I cracked some jokes about what I then learned was the foreman’s “not a Toyota” comment with another mechanic, and they had my car back to me so quickly I realized I wouldn’t even be late to pick up my friend. I try to press some cash into the hand of the mechanic as he gives me my keys back, he refuses to take it. I insist, he tells me “just tell people we do good work”. And I promised him I would. There’s good people here. They took care of me when I really needed it. They didn’t even consider for a second that they wouldn’t be making any money off of me. It’s a bit cheesy but I really needed something like this right now, a reminder that people care about each other just because we’re people and not for what we can do for them. So thank you, and I promise I’m going to keep telling people you do good work. You earned that, and I know you’ll keep earning that with people like me.

Frustrating Experience with Toyota Service for 2024 Camry Alarm Issue For years, Toyota has been a household favorite in my family. We’ve admired their reputation for reliability, affordability, and top-notch service. However, recent experiences have made me reconsider that long-held trust. It’s disappointing when a brand you’ve relied on begins to feel less dependable and trustworthy. I’ve had an ongoing issue with my 2024 Toyota Camry where the alarm randomly goes off, sometimes in the middle of the night, disturbing my neighbors and causing a lot of stress. Unfortunately, Toyota service has been unable to diagnose or resolve the problem. I first took the car in to one Toyota service center, where I was assisted by David. Since the alarm didn’t go off during the visit, nothing was done. I resorted to using the manual key instead of the remote, hoping to avoid setting it off again. When the problem continued, I went to another Toyota service location, this time helped by Adam. Unfortunately, the result was the same, no resolution. My neighbors even suggested it might be due to a low battery or some kind of system malfunction, but this possibility wasn’t addressed seriously by the staff. In the end, I felt that the Toyota staff became frustrated with me, which only added to my disappointment. I am extremely frustrated with how this issue has been handled. The problem is still not solved, and I’ve been left without any real support or answers.

Have been getting all of my vehicles (2 Tundras, 2 4-Runners and a CH-R) serviced at this location for over 15 years and have been using the same service tech during that time. Have never had an issue with feeling like I was being over charged and the service advice has always been A+ regarding any work required.

Alex was our advisor, and he did a great job in explaining what is needed and what others service options are available. Communication was great, video of inspections and communications regarding additional services was good. However, only issue i have is regarding customer service and pricing for these additional services, e.g. a spring for fuel door was found broken and that is not covered in regular warranty and even extended warranty for which I have bought earlier with amount of money. Auto nation quoted around 125 for replacing that spring. lets consider that cost of the part (spring is 15) and it takes 0.2 minutes to install it so for this labor auto nation quoted comes out to be $110. Is this not ridiculous to ask $110 for less than a minute job? great job Autonation Toyota. i declined and replaced it myself in 30 seconds.

Amanda from the Service department was great to work with! She price matched my oil change and new tires for the best price out there! We appreciate her and the team for their help and will definitely be back for all my car service needs.

I arrived on time for my appointment. When service adviser arrived she looked at the mileage and said it was too soon for an oil change but said they would rotate the tires and do a check on the systems. I reminded her that I had a recall for the rear seat and told her I was getting alerts regarding the rear seat! I decided to wait for the service there in the lounge. I had also golden told ear to not do the auto wash as I had just done it. I was surprised that I had a 4 hour wait. I asked for locking wheel lugs to be installed so waited another 20 minutes. I am still getting alerts regarding the rear seat???

I brought my 20-year-old 4Runner with over 300,000 miles into AutoNation Toyota Irvine to have the rack and pinion replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Matthew Garrett was hands down the best service advisor I’ve ever worked with—knowledgeable, professional, and kept me updated every step of the way. The work was done efficiently, and my 4Runner is still running strong thanks to their expert team. It’s hard to find trustworthy service these days, but AutoNation Toyota Irvine delivered. Highly recommend!

Got scammed buying a truck – sharing this so others don’t fall into the same trap. I bought a brand new 2025 Toyota Tacoma from AutoNation Toyota Irvine. The truck looked amazing – lifted, big tires, blacked-out tactical style. I was sold on the appearance. What they didn’t tell me was that those modifications were done by the dealer, and worse – the oversized wheels rub against the frame during turns. This isn’t cosmetic – it’s a serious structural issue that affects safety. No one at the dealership mentioned this risk. I wasn’t given any warning, no disclaimer, nothing. But when I brought the issue back, all they said was “we can swap the wheels for smaller ones.” So basically: give up the exact look I bought the truck for, and drive something I never agreed to. They refused to give me any inspection report. They kept calling me, pressuring me to accept their “solution,” but never once admitted fault. I’ve now started filing an auto fraud complaint. I paid over $50,000 for a brand new truck that turned out to be structurally flawed – and they expect me to just deal with it. Word of warning to anyone considering buying from AutoNation Toyota Irvine: Stay far away from their “custom” builds. They might look good, but if something goes wrong – you’re on your own. This isn’t bad service. This is deception.

I had an appointment at 8 am and was immediately seen by a service technician. This was my first visit with our new Camry (6 month service) and the technician was friendly, and attentive. After a few preliminaries, she told me that my car would be ready in an hour to an hour and a half, and directed me to the waiting room. The waiting room was nice (even better than when I first came here with my Tacoma back 2015). After a cup of coffee (free), and checking on my email, I was texted that my car was ready. It was 9:15, right on time. Great experience.

I have to say my experience with the Service Department at AutoNation Toyota Irvine was outstanding. I'm one of those people who will typically avoid any dealings with a dealership, unless it's something I absolutely have to do. This was one of those cases. I had a recall that I hadn't taken care of for some time. I elected to schedule an appointment for the recall and go ahead and have a maintenance service done. I was able to get scheduled quickly, the following morning, and I was very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism I received both when I dropped off my truck and when I came back later to pick it up when finished. My service was straight up and honest. The personnel and procedures at AutoNation Toyota Irvine are first class.
