I came here this morning and there was a guy in front of me, he had less cans than me and he got more money! Truly disrespectful that they blatantly show biased responses. I had many bags and to be honest wouldn’t have mind that I received not that much money. But the fact that there is sketchy behavior in this business doesn’t make me happy. Most of the time I have gone here every once in a while and usually it’s quite empty when I come here which is efficient, but the first time I see another customer with less cans they give more money to that guy than me!
I highly recommend this recycling center because of the staff there. Usually, recycling centers have users separate their recyclables and put them in weighing bins, and the staff just weighs them and settles the bill. But today, Luis, the staff here, came out to me and separated the plastic bags containing glass bottles, cans, and PET bottles into weighing bins as soon as I got out of my car. Thanks to this, the work was done quickly and the settlement was fair. I really liked Luis’ kindness and proactive attitude, and I think I will continue to use this center.
I had 15 full XL trash bags of aluminum cans and they only gave me 10 bucks. When I went to the other location they would give a lot more. I’m pretty sure he took 10% or 20%. The guy kept yelling at me too. Quite rude.
I had a very good experience at this facility. The sole employee was diligent and helpful. The wait was nonexistent (approximately 12:30pm). I will be back again!
It was quiet morning on Saturday. The gentleman put the bins out for us and helped us sort. In and out in 5 min, and it was paid in cash.

The best place I've recycled. The guys are really hardworkers and nice, they helped me to sort the materials. And the most important thing, they pay in CASH immediately !!
It's our first time there today! The old lady was very tricky, I went there with my 3 kids this morning, when no one was there, we gave her 3 bags and some cans and glass, she asked me and my kids, to put it in the big bucket, we were very happy to do it, she have nothing to do just stand there, have her bad attitude to us for no reason , I was a little afraid. She was very mean to us.
And Then a man came and she helped him right the way, to put his stuff away for him, and be very nice to him ( I thought she said we need to do it by ourselves??)
And the Man have less bottles than us! But he got $13
After him, then it's our turn, I didn't pay attention to how much on the scale, she gave us $6.88 for all the glass and 3 bags of bottles and some cans... I didn't really pay attention, she suddenly very nice to us, and said oh they are very good kids, please come again then we said thanks to her, and came home I saw the ticket she changed the price on it,
It was $16 so we should get $16 of all, she thought we don't know anything about it,
So she just changed the price on us,
That's why she suddenly so happy, and said nice thing to us. Anyway $10 is not much different, but it's so unfair.
My kids were very excited to learn and do good things for this Earth, now we know that she took money from us, and she might do it to someone who doesn't really have experience recycling!
Remember to watch her, and pay attention her actions , we often to donate money and food to people who need help, I'm fine with it the $10 dollar, but we don't like people who are not kind and not honest here!!
I wanted to give this company 0 stars because it is my experience that they cannot be trusted.
As seems to be the standard in the "industry" in Orange County, they reimburse by weight. The rate for aluminum cans is $1.65 per pound.
For 88 cans I was reimbursed $3.96. That's 10% discount from the $4.40 I paid in deposits for the cans.
I don't know if stealing 10% from every customer is an "Industry standard" because I have not visited all other centers locally. Perhaps they are more honest about weighing.
I did the calculation in my head and decided that the 10% discount was not worth driving to another center, so I proceeded to "recycle" the rest of the aluminum drink cans.
For the next 435 cans I received $11.55. That's $10.20 less than I paid in deposits for the cans. That's a 46.89% discount.
In the entire transaction I received less than 40% of the deposits I paid at the time of purchase.
I give a 4 because the man is nice, only downfall is I have been getting less on plastic bottles by weight. And they only allow 50 max by count. Because some of the plastic is so lite, I get way less...based on that alone I could not go above 3. Well it's still better than not getting anything, as I collect the recycled stuff as I walk and bike around town...so I make penny's for the work I put in. They really need more centers around, it's best people, to save planet, stop buying crab if possible.
I would give zero Stars if it were possible. Be careful they think that it's bunch of rich white people that they can just Rob they rob you I had over $100 worth of recycling that they gave me $37 for the fifth time I've experience this with them and I will no longer stand for it I'm going to the Better Business Bureau because these guys are thieves
Come prepared with plastics, cans and glass sorted and it will go smoothly and save you some time. The employee working was very nice and helpful. Their lunch break is from 1:00 to 1:30.
Visited this place recently at 10 am on a Monday. No one is there. However there is an Open sign in front. A customer waiting nearby mentions he tried to call them and no one answered I took my recycling products elsewhere.
