Expensive, but they did a good job and only took about an hour. The lounge was fairly comfortable but there isn't a ton of seating. People tend to sit in the middle of the couches which eliminates a lot of potential seats.
Review update—went back for a second time. It had been awhile. I’m adding a star because it was such a better experience, except for one thing. The inside of my front windshield. Way different than last time and, holy crap, they are smeared. I don’t know what they used, but even vinegar won’t fix it.
I wanted to give them 5 stars. The guys are super nice (I forgot to tip!) When I got in, I noticed some things in the corners around the door and floorboards that were missed when they vacuumed, and the center console still had some crumbs in the crack. Not a huge deal, so I thought 4 stars. The outside was washed well (some lint) and the inside windows were perfect! Where did the other star go? They left crumbs in all of the cracks of my two front seats, and the wheel shine is uneven. I should add that my car is an easy clean. Got it and wonder why I need it cleaned. It really just needed a vacuum job. I had just done an exterior wash, and it’s just me and my 28-year-old daughter. No pets. I’ve cleaned my own car a lot (tired of doing it!) and it only takes a crevice tool and one good going over for the seat cracks. We’re not pigs. :) I had to do a touch-up vacuum when I got home. Anyway, maybe it was because I was the last one there?
Finally found a car wash in California that actually cleans my car! Been living here since 2014 and Beach Cities Car Wash is the real deal.
After reading tons of reviews and noticing how the owner takes time to respond to both good and bad feedback, I had to check them out. Best decision ever!
What blew me away? I didn't have to bring my trusty microfiber towel to fix all the spots they missed - because there weren't any! These folks actually cleaned my ENTIRE car. They even got inside my rims, thoroughly vacuumed the carpets, even the trunk, and properly wiped down the interior.
I'm already planning to bring my other car here for detailing. Thinking about trying their ceramic coating and window tinting too since they clearly know what they're doing.
If you're tired of paying for half-done car washes, give Beach Cities a shot.

This Car Wash is absolutely amazing. They pay attention to detail and get it right every single time. They do a quality job for a reasonable price. I’ve been going to this Car Wash for about a year and I’m on the monthly program which works out great. I bring them extremely high-end cars and they treat them with the upmost respect. I don’t usually write reviews, but I just felt that this was necessary because they deserve a shout out!
First of all their car wash is FanFreakinTastic!!! Very reasonable pricing and amazing results. They also tint windows. I've had 4 cars done there and have been super happy every time!! Also great pricing. Randy, the owner is a great person! Family owned and they treat their employees great which is why I still come here even though I moved to Anaheim.
I’ve been coming to this car wash for a little over a year. I’ve gotten everything from a standard wash to detailing with a good experience across the board. I’ve recommended this place to family and friends along the way.
I brought in my car to just get an exterior wash today. I was quoted 30 minutes. It ended up being over an hour which was frustrating but understandable. However, when I entered my vehicle I immediately noticed my niece’s grade school art project missing. It is a painting of a prey mantis on a paper card the size of a large coaster. I knew exactly where it was because I looked at it right as I handed the car over thinking to myself that I shouldn’t leave anything I value in the car, even if that value was only sentimental. That was my mistake. It was gone by the time I got my car back. I asked about it to multiple employees, none of which gave me information and simply stated that since I only got an exterior car wash nothing should have been touched on the interior. I’m not a confrontational person and I know once something is stolen it is not likely someone will make things right, so I chose not to make a scene and drove away in sadness and regret.
I can understand stealing some change, maybe a valuable item, but it is astonishing to me that someone would take something with zero actual value to anyone but the owner. Maybe there’s a decent secondary market for okay paintings of insects, I don’t know. To make matters worse, the car wash wasn’t even passable this time. There’s water spots and dirt left in numerous areas of the car. Not really my focus here, but it makes this all sting just a little bit more.
This is the 4th car we have brought to Everardo to get ceramic tint. Driving all the way from dtla, Everardo took great care of me and a big thank you to Carlos also. If you need a ceramic tint or a hand car wash this is the place for you!! Keep up the good work

Amazing experience! Best detailing you can get on the West Coast! They really pay attention to detail. I would highly recommend their clay bar treatment and corrective polish. My car has never looked better!

Owners are wonderful at giving back to the community. When we were there, they allowed a youth girls soccer team from West Coast to hold a fundraiser, and they also donated a portion of car wash proceeds for the day.
I was mentioned about Beach Cities Car Wash initially for a fundraiser, and came to support West Coast Girls Soccer. After coming today I was extremely happy with the cleaning and the helpfulness of the staff. My cleaning inside the car I believe it’s called auto Interior was done so well! I’m so happy I didn’t have to do it myself. Totally recommend!
They did an amazing job washing my suburban! Worth every penny as their attention to detail was awesome! I had so much dog hair, sand and grass in my car and they did a meticulous job cleaning it all! I highly recommend!
This company comes to my work. My thought was how convenient to have them take my car and bring it back all while I’m not bothered. Wrong. The first wash was fine on the outside but it looked as though they forgot the inside…so I sent it back and they fixed it. The second wash was good but they knew my previous experience was mediocre so they tried harder. Made me happy. The third wash they brought my car back late and they were gone by the time I saw it. They didn’t wipe down the interior and they didn’t dress the tires. I text them twice and nothing was resolved. If you call yourself a car wash, then wash the car. Simple.
Not only a great car wash and detail shop but also great for tint! This is now the second car I’ve gotten tinted here and they do a first class job. Would highly recommend!
I brought my brand new truck in for tinting and a wash and was extremely disappointed with both. There was a bag of fast food wrappers on the passenger seat, a strange key left in the center console, a big scratch on the windshield film, visible dirt on the drivers seat from where someone had kneeled, and on top of that not being cleaned none of the dirty areas I had pointed out had been cleaned either. I had already paid and the manager wouldn't give a refund and the owner hasn't returned my call. I've had good experiences with their washes before but this ruined all of their goodwill with me.
They scratched my 4Runner’s windshield and denied it. There were deep gouges in the glass which is extremely hard to do. Their response to it was extremely disappointing and they offered no reimbursement or any solution to the damage they caused and come to find out they’ve damaged many other customers vehicles as well. I would highly reconsider using this business to wash your car.
This place is amazing. I always have them wash my motorcycle and let me tell you it was so filthy because I live in a area where there is so many trees and my bike was covered in trees sap, and it came out looking brand new! Thank you guys so much for taking extra time on my bike. Great work here!
We took our 4Runner to Beach Cities Car Wash for a mini detail today and when we picked it up when it was done, we noticed multiple scratches in the front windshield that were absolutely not there when we dropped it off to them. My husband showed them immediately, and my first thought was that they must have used a dirty rag to clean the windshield (possibly with debris from the ground on it). These are not small scratches though. They are deep and directly in the path of our eyeline while sitting in the driver seat. They said they reviewed the video footage and it just shows the workers wiping the windshield with a rag, so they say there's no proof that they caused it. They didn't offer any sort of compensation (not even a refund for the service), and I'm sure the repair or replacement of our windshield is not going to be cheap for us. We took our car there for them to make it look better, not cause damage to it. This is very disappointing since I've been a loyal customer of Beach Cities for many years (obviously I'll never go there again). On top of it all, my husband asked them not to use Armor All on the car when he dropped it off to them, but they still did (even though they wrote "No Armor All" on the windshield, and they didn't even wash THAT completely off before returning the car to us). I'll be contacting the BBB and informing as many people as I can about this poor customer service and just poor service in general. Hopefully it won't happen to anyone else.
I have very much come to like this place. I can usually bring my car in early on either Sat or Sun before they get too busy. More or less, they can finish my car in about 30-40 minutes. Their staff also pays attention to detail and does great work.
My usual car wash is being renovated so I decided to give this place a shot and was very pleased with their service. Fast and professional work at a fair price, with a nice waiting area. Will go again.
Bad service, went for the first time got luxury car wash and they missed lot of things, lots of bugs were left on the front bumper and spot on front hood, water drops on dashboard and screen and floor mats and some interior parts with dirt, also almost forgot rim areas were not cleaned too
I brought in an older car they made it look new again, seriously! Our paint had a lot of small scratches and after they got done it’s looks like a new paint job. Inside and out, they looks and smells great. We’re coming back with our next car.
First time there was disappointed with services exterior dressing overspray on vehicle did not get wiped off. The bed of truck didn’t get washed tire dressing Is poorly done. I left in a hurry because the mist was coming down hard and noticed this after.
Ive been coming here for years. Beach cities is so good that I now drive down from LA just to have my vehicles detailed. Recently I had the pleasure of Junior helping me out. I was short on time and he handled my truck and got me back on the road quickly. Customer service and quality is top notch. Wether you buy the basic or full detail you will be surprised how much better the attention to detail and quality is. 10/10 would recommend.
I took my 2016 VW GTI to get the Exterior Detail for $150. I hadn't done a complete clay bar, polish, and wax since I bough it 5 years ago. I knew it needed some work so I added the extra polish for $50 more. It was worth every penny. They did such an amazing job. They left it looking like a brand new car! They even went above and beyond cleaning little additional details like my exhaust. These guys are the best. The manager in particular was super nice and helpful. I will say they took a while with my car, but looking at the end result, I can understand why. It's basically an all-day job, but you won't be disappointed. Just take a day you can leave your car all day. 5/5 stars, I 100% recommend them.
Excellent handwash car facility. We took 4 cars and they all came out perfectly. Anytime we are in Newport, this is the first and only place we take our cars.
