Update: their phone number doesn’t work, so I had to go somewhere else for my most recent oil change. Happy to raise back to five stars if their phone number starts working again.

I called these guys 2 months ago about my battery on my Volkswagen 2020 going out because O’Rileys told me I needed a technician. O’ Riley’s told me the price for the battery which if I recall correctly was around $215, but they said I would need a technician to install It, so they referred me next door to franks auto shop to install It. I called franks auto shop and franks auto shop was charging me $70. So total I was going to pay close to $300 maybe more after tax and everything. I went to Walmart because I saw a YouTube video where a guy did It himself and said the best cost efficient place was Walmart to purchase the battery he said It’s work good for him. I needed to be cost efficient so I went that route, but I was still under the impression I needed a technician. The guys at Walmart showed me different. They installed It for free, and I saw on the YouTube video You just have to turn the steering wheel all the way left and all the way right and It resets. I needed a technician for that? Seems like a scam for people who don’t know to make a quick $70. I would just say don’t trust O’ Reileys and don’t trust franks auto body. Seems like they have a deal with each other to screw people over and make more money. I ended up paying $115 when all said and done with Walmart and saved upwards of $175 that I could’ve been scammed for by both places. Don’t trust Franks auto body do your research on your own before they tell you anything.
Frank and his wife Kimmery are my favourites. Frank’s an amazing mechanic and Kimmery is equally as good. We take all our cars here as well as our dog; and you can’t go wrong. Rare to find!
Frank is true master mechanic which is really hard to find in this area today! I checked 3 other shops and all mechs had no clue what to do but Frank fixes my issue in 10 minutes! My huge appreciation and I will always come only to Franks Automotive since today!
Frank's Automotive is my new Mechanic of choice! Their service goes above and beyond any other auto repair business I have ever used. I've left my guy around the corner and I drive across town to Frank's now. They have my old car running like I just drove it off the lot. They are nothing short of AMAZING!!! If I could give them TEN stars, I would!!!
Franks took great care of my car. He is an efficient and honest person. I have been going to him for over 15 years. His wife Kiimeri is alsi extremly nice. I would go to him for any repairs you need becsuse he will take great care of your car or truck. Thank you Frank and Kimeri!!
They have had my car for Approximately 3 weeks. I was having them fix one problem. Then they created another problem while fixing it. Instead of buying a new part they purchased Used one off of eBay
Frank’s is the only place I will ever take my car to. He is honest and knowledgeable. Frank and Kimberly always go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I accidentally found this wonderful automotive shop one day when I broke down in Newport. I was terrified of paying Newport prices to get my car fixed. But their pricing is more than fair. They always try and find the most inexpensive way to keep my car safe and running (which I appreciate as a broke college student). Anytime something goes wrong with my car I always bring it to Frank.
After much research I found Frank's Automotive and have been going to them for a couple of years now. They are always very informative and pleasant to work with. I'm always happy to refer others to them.
I went to Frank's today for a battery change.. I called in the am and they were able to fit me in as soon as I got there; I was in/out in less than 20min. Frank actually was the one to change my battery! Very nice to be able to talk to the owner/mechanic. Great service, and also very personable and knowledgeable, as I had asked several other questions. I highly recommend and will be returning! Thanks again!
Called, made appointment for the next day, to see if he could fix my center console. He looked at and within just a few minutes had it unlocked. All at no charge, Great service and knows what he was doing with a Lexus. His shop in not really on Newport Blvd but in the alley behind
Frank and his wife are very honest and provide excellent service at a great price! It is rare to find a mechanic that is this good! I almost always make an appointment. However, whether you have an appointment, or not they'll work with you. You should pull in the shop from the back entrance.

They were great changed my bad alternator in two hrs without an appointment and even though we were from Arizona they didn't try to gouge me for the repair, thx for getting our vacation going again
