Exactly what I was hoping to experience with a Big Time Recycling operation in a modern Fast-paced Commercial and Exclusively prudent Residential Community surroundings within an experimental probability that distrusting the the Astonishing process of making a list in order of increasingly demanding environmentally friendly services and non-profit charitable foundations birthed by the Civil-Engineeries and Intellectual Property City Developmental milestones for Greater Orange County California . Thank you for your effort that goes infinitely further amidst substantially imperfect perfectionist.

Everyone should be careful when taking your recycles to this place. I took 4 huge bags of cans to this place and the guys said that the scale was Working but not the computer so he wrote it in a piece of paper. Whe I took it to the Window to cash it the lady wrote $80 wich im sure it was more than that. Then the lady went to talk to someone away from the windows and came back and scratched off the $80 and put $40 but when she realized that I was paying attention she scratched off the $40 and wrote $80 again, I'm sure it was more than 80 because I have taken less than what I took today and got almost that much. Now imagine when ever they say that the computers aren't working how much money they steal from each person all day long and specially when people are not paying attention. So be careful and always keep and eye.

Very disappointed with Sunwest Metals Inc. I pre-weighed my scrap metal at home, yet their scales always show less weight, which means customers get underpaid. The workers are rude, dismissive, and act like they don’t care about helping anyone. I’m not the only one — other customers have reported the same issues: workers looking for excuses not to take items, always rushing, low-balling people for scrap, and even unsafe company drivers on the freeway with unsecured loads that could cause accidents. Some reviewers even called the business dishonest and a scam. This place does not value honesty or customer service. If you want fair pay and respect, I suggest going elsewhere

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience at Sunwest Metals Recycling Center I rarely recycle, but six months ago I made a conscious decision to start doing my part. I collected eight large bags of recyclable materials—glass, aluminum, and plastic bottles—all sorted and prepared, and brought them to Sunwest Metals expecting a smooth process. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Two employees assisting with unloading refused to take my plastic bottles, claiming that some were from “foreign countries” and “those countries don’t pay taxes,” even though I bought all the drinks at a local supermarket and paid CRV at the register. They also rejected my glass bags, saying they had food containers, and wouldn’t let me remove or sort through the bags myself. As a result, all eight bags were put back in my car. I left frustrated and confused about why I had even tried to recycle in the first place. Later that same day, I found a smaller recycling center behind a liquor store, and to my surprise, the staff there unloaded all six remaining bags without a problem, sorted the materials for me, and were polite and efficient. It’s unfortunate that a large facility like Sunwest Metals, which should encourage community recycling, made the process so unwelcoming. It felt like the staff just didn’t want to do their job and looked for excuses not to help. This kind of service discourages people from recycling. I won’t be returning to Sunwest Metals. I’ll continue to recycle and support smaller centers that actually value customers and the environmental impact of their work.

I’ve experienced trouble getting in and out with high congestion of semi trucks and bigger trucks recycling large amount of other recyclables. The last two times that I’ve been there I’ve always gotten hassled by the guys there thinking they can control you and boss you around to tell you to move here move there. There’s really no designated place for regular customers and I think that’s what they forget is that we are customers so honking your horns and having management come outside when you’re blocking their small entrance space area has become annoying and frustrating. I won’t be coming here anymore.

I love this recycling place. I always get right in & out. You don’t have to do anything! They take all your bags from your car and hand you a receipt to give to the cashier. They pay you in cash. Very nice people!

Great place to bring your recyclables. They pay on the spot. They know recycling and after asking one of the employees, I found out it is a family run business. Happy to support it!

I am disabled. They take my bags out of the car for me and it really helps. Turning around is sometimes hard because other cars, trucks and loaders are working. They have a card to get extra money for a small fee.

Guys collecting cans are awesome, cashiers and office staff not so much, they all look like they hate their job at the cashier desk - they need to put a smile on their face...

Okay so I'm a big rig driver. So my experience is a little bit different, but that being said. They could be a little bit more organized and not depend on the drivers to organize themselves. I mean something as simple as a call in to organize who is next would cut down dramatically on the confusion. Would definitely also streamline the process.

Very busy on a Saturday morning. There are big rigs and sedans going and coming in and out of this recycling center. They accept aluminum cans and most plastics. Check photos I posted for hours of operations! Closed on Sundays!

This place is bigger than other recycling centers; the people attending is cordial and attentive. I didn't have my bottles and cans sorted but he told me where to park and gave me an extra bag to do so; so I recommend too have all plastic and aluminum cans separated since they do it kind of like a drive thru type of thing and you just open your car trunk and they would just give you the ticket to go to the window right next to get your money. They require ID, unlike the other one I have gone before, and they do take glass as well. The parking area is small but I guess since you go thru with your car, you don't really need to park; not sure about the money claim part tho🤔 lol. Any how, this was the only place open during wednesday and the easiest one to find, the others I search and actually went to, were kind of hidden, I couldn't find them, and the ones I found were closed! Any way, I do recommend this place.

I thought the name of this business was recycling center, but it's Sunwest Metals Inc. Very easy and convenient to recycle here. They pay you on the spot in cash. It's the only place I'll go to recycle my unused materials.
