Their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. I called multiple times to sign up for an exercise class, but nobody picked up. When I showed up at the reception, they sent me to the spa to register, but there was no one there either. Eventually someone showed up, but they were quite rude and simply told me to go to the class, without any instructions or explanation of how the signup process works. In the end, I just walked into a class. Everyone there said they were dissatisfied with the service because everything feels disorganized. Staff keep routing people around, but no one actually helps solve the problem. At least the class itself was nice. The instructor was very patient, even though the staff didn’t help much with the sign-up process or provide extra gear. Both the hotel and fitness receptionists had an attitude. Some club members even said the service here is rude. I’m very surprised and honestly a bit sad about the experience.

Our experience at Silverado Resort was exceptional from beginning to end thanks to the outstanding service from both Jason and Jack at the Front Office. Jason, the Front Office Manager, went above and beyond to help us with our reservation and billing concerns. He was incredibly responsive, patient, and thorough, making sure every detail was handled quickly and correctly. His professionalism and genuine care truly stood out. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Jack at the front desk was also amazing. He assisted us with such kindness and efficiency, making the check in process smooth and stress free. His warm attitude and willingness to help made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for our stay. We stayed in the Premium Mansion King Room and it was absolutely stunning. Spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The room captured the charm and elegance that Silverado is known for and made our stay feel truly special. The resort itself is beautiful with peaceful grounds, great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it perfect for a Napa getaway. From the service to the accommodations, everything exceeded our expectations. Jason and Jack are exceptional at what they do and Silverado Resort is truly lucky to have them. We will definitely be returning.

Great space to host a conference. Exceptional service and food, the best buffet conference food I've ever had (and I've had plenty!). Couldn't be more impressed with the property and staff overall. Great job, Silverado Resort!

It was an amazing experience to stay in Silverado resort, even though the weather wasn’t helping. Staffs, especially front desk person, were super welcoming and nice. This resort has peaceful view that I really enjoyed. I definitely will come back for my Napa trip.

We stayed at the resort knowing in advance that the spa was under renovation. However, the massage experience took place in a standard hotel room with no effort made to create a relaxing spa ambiance. While we understood the temporary situation, the pricing did not reflect the reduced setting or overall experience. We had hoped for more thoughtful accommodations or an adjusted rate during the renovation period.

Went here for a work event, really nice event space, super polite and attentive staff across the resort. Overall, a great experience, would return.

Overall the resort is a step into luxury. Love all that the grounds offer from games to coffee shop/store to fire pit sitting areas. A shuttle around the property is available and was a welcome. We stayed in an area with more of a time share vibe. Next time I want to be near the mansion. Great for families, dogs and getaway.

I’ve stayed here once before and thought it was great and enjoyed the spa as well. Because of a past experience, I recommended staying here this past weekend when I was going to show a friend around Napa. I am beyond horrified by my most recent experience. I stayed one night and it was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. I do not feel safe ever staying here again and I definitely won’t recommend this hotel. I stayed in room 646 and around 2AM I was woken up by shouting, loud wails, and crying. I could tell it was the room next door. I immediately called the front desk and reported this issue, I told them I was afraid and it sounded like something was wrong the way the person was WAILING. The front desk told me they would send security immediately, they never sent anyone. This was also my 3rd time calling that night, the first two times I requested an extra blanket and was told both times it would be on the way and it never arrived. The way the screams were, I’m afraid of what happened next door and genuinely concerned that the hotel did not care at all. I’m also horrified that they subjected me to this experience. This is the kind of experience you’d expect at a motel. I also text messaged their guest services and they didn’t address this issue.

Fantastic resort! We booked a home here, 3 bed, 2 bath.. and spent time after Christmas 3 days 2 nights. We enjoyed golfing, tennis and warm water pool, and weather was fortunately Sunny days mostly during our stay. Napa downtown is in proximity gives access to more food options! Resort staff is friendly and amenities are great! Would like to visit again!

Beautiful resort, we enjoyed a weekend getaway, the seclusion and I enjoyed the massage at the spa, although while their main spa is closed their massage pricing should reflect a change, you get massaged at a hotel room. This should be a lot less than compared to a spa with amenities. The rooms while nice, lack modern features such as smart TVs also noise cancellation, we could hear the people next to us above us and outside.

I stayed at this property a number of years ago and liked it, but on this trip it felt like it is over the hill. It’s definitely an aging place that is not showing as well as it once did. The rates are those of a 5 star property, but the value isn’t there anymore. The rooms are in need of a refresh. Everything felt a little broken. Housekeeping didn’t do a great job during our stay either. They did not replenish everything (soaps, toilet paper, etc.). One day we were inexplicably missing the body wash and conditioner from the shower. Another day we were given stained sheets AND blankets. Some towels were taken but not replaced. It just felt like there was a lack of attention to detail. We also attended the New Year’s Eve party in the ballroom, which was another overpriced affair. They were serving bottom shelf wine at a $250 a head party. The sparkling offering was Wycliff, which I can buy at Total Wine for $6.50 a bottle. The food offered was tacos, which I wouldn’t expect at a $250 per person party. Overall it just felt like a disappointing, overpriced stay. The location is really the only saving grace for this place. It’s convenient to Napa and to a number of wineries.

Silverado Resort: Disrespectful, Dismissive, and Operationally Incompetent This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had, not because of a single mistake, but because of a pattern of neglect, poor judgment, and complete lack of accountability. My wife decided to book a stay here for my birthday. We stayed for three days two nights. Before arrival, we clearly communicated religious requirements. As Muslims, we explicitly requested no alcohol in the room and no pork products. This was acknowledged. When we checked in, the room contained wine and a charcuterie plate made up of pork products. That alone shows either the request was ignored or not taken seriously. On top of that, there were four to five cigarette butts on the back door patio present and a faint smell of smoke in the room, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and room turnover standards. We gave the resort time to make this right. We waited multiple days. Nothing meaningful was done. The situation escalated when we returned from breakfast and discovered that neither of our key cards would open the door. We attempted to call the front desk from our phones. No one answered. We left a voicemail. No one returned the call. The lobby is not close, and during active Northern California winter storms, we were left standing outside in the cold. We eventually had to flag down a housekeeper, who called security to unlock our door after a significant wait outside. This should never be the guest’s responsibility to fix. When my wife finally reached someone at the front desk, the response was dismissive and defensive. She was talked over, not listened to, and offered a generic credit with no real acknowledgment of what had occurred. The proposed “solution” was that we should come back again in the future and let a manager book the reservation personally. That is not a resolution. Asking a guest to reinvest time, money, and trust after being disrespected is not accountability. This experience showed a lack of cultural awareness, poor guest support, and an alarming inability to handle basic service recovery. When something goes wrong at a luxury resort, the response matters more than the mistake. In this case, there was no empathy, no urgency, and no ownership. If you value being heard, having your requests respected, and knowing that staff will actually respond when something goes wrong, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere in Napa. There are too many quality options in the area to accept this level of disregard.

Our favorite place to visit for any special occasion! Love the hospitality and the atmosphere. My husband loves to play golf here in the summer. Super close to Bistro Don Giovani (a must try popular Italian restaurant)! Minutes from downtown and Oxbow Market.

The actual best place to stay in wine country hands down. It’s a laid-back luxury experience that offers so many amenities and activities for a group, family, or couples. The rooms are large, the beds super comfortable, probably the best shower I’ve ever had at a hotel. Everything from the spacious King Suite, to the friendly service, marketplace and cafe full of goodies for afternoon coffee and breakfast, wood fired pizza for dinner, pickleball courts available to guests, and a nice bar in the mansion… huge fan!! We will be taking our friends and family here for generations to come - it’s iconic like that!

Reception went above and beyond! They greeted us very politely and made sure we were set up. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and they gifted us two bottles of wine, surprised us with a delicious chocolate dessert and treated us for some drinks. We look forward to visiting again in the summer and playing some golf. Our room was beautiful. I could live there. It truly felt like an oasis away from Napa but still in the heart of Napa Valley.

Our third visit to this place was in a one-king-bed suite. The room was great (shower is a big small), and the location was perfect since we had two days of golfing. However, the heater was not working well, and we had to wait over an hour to get extra comforters after making four calls. Considering the price of the room, we expected better service quality.

Our stay at the Silverado was nothing short of incredible. We came to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was perfect from the start. The property is incredibly well-kept and many of the rooms have undergone recent renovations, the staff is wonderful (shoutout to Jason and Charles - they were both unbelievably kind and highly professional), and the views are to die for. The hotel is nicely situated between all of the major wineries, and the property provides on-site transportation around the grounds which came in handy throughout our stay. The team really went out of their way to make my birthday weekend feel special in such thoughtful ways from the second we checked in, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my experience. I will definitely be recommending to everyone I know in the future! Stay here if you can!

Cottage room was disappointing. Had to pay $70 extra to check out at noon. Wanted to take advantage of the pool and grab a drink there. Reception told us to buy the drinks in the shop and ask them to bring an ice bucket to us at the pool. They ended up wanting to charge us $15 just to bring over an ice bucket. The pool area is outdated and not the level of finishing/luxury you’d expect from this place.

I have a wonderful story to share about this special place. In 2018, I had stayed there for a convention on glass packaging. In the rush of my schedule, I left in a hurry to make my flight back home in Switzerland. Unbeknown to me, I forgot to empty the safe in my room and only realized it once I got to San Francisco Airport check-in and couldn't find my passport. I desperately called the hotel who immediately acted, organizing a taxi who drove to San Francisco Airport with a sealed envelope. In it were over two thousand Dollars in cash, credit cards I had left in the safe, my Swiss driver's license and house keys... the cab made it to departures at the agreed gate, in time for me to make my international flight! I was so grateful but also much impressed by the professionalism, the first-class service and high ethics as the hotel manager who made sure she herself went into my room to open the safe and secure all belongings, not a dime missing! This rare exploit is something I'll never forget. It speaks for the high standard if staffing and management of this wonderful resort.

My partner and I had a terrible experience sleeping at Silverado. We stayed in one of the "cottage" rooms which was incredibly disappointing. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our AC unit that caused both my partner and I to miss sleep. It was very apparent the ac unit was outdated and broken. Claiming to be a "4-star Resort" and charging high rates, I'm not sure how they would allow this to happen. When trying to reach out for help, we had no luck. The hotlines are useless. It will take multiple steps to get past automated help before you maybe get to someone that can assist. Other than the customer service and hotel accommodations, the resort, amenities, location, and golf are fantastic... but that doesn't make up for poor customer service.

This review is based solely on my experience making a reservation. My boss was attending a conference there and needed an extra night. I called several times to try to reserve an additional night and nobody seemed to know about the conference (I wanted him to be able to stay in the same room throughout his visit so they directed me to group reservations). Nobody seemed to know much of anything in fact. It was extremely frustrating to be batted this way and that via phone. I never was able to speak with someone who was willing to help.

Beautiful location and hotel. Rooms/cottages are nice. Only negative was the in room air conditioning unit. Noisy (in need of service?) making it difficult to sleep.

We stayed here for the weekend in a 2 bedroom suite with another couple. This place is a very popular wedding destination. Nice golf course. Nice grounds. The rooms are spread out all over the very large property and you have to drive away from the main mansion to get to your room which is a big hassle. We have a kitchen good for longer days with family but all the amenities are back at the main building. Off the Silverado Trail which runs parallel to Hwy 29 the main road in Napa Valley

saw Scottie last saturday. Great venue for pro golf, its so well organized. Our shuttle drivers are very nice too! (sometimes they ruin your impression of the property)

Took my parents and kid for labor day weekend trip. Two queen bed bedroom was very small and felt like it was not worth spending almost $700 for one night. The door had issue and didn’t work, so my parents had to stay out in a very hot sun for more than 1 hours and couldn’t rest for another 1 hour until the door was fixed. Facilities seem a bit old while location and the property itself was nice. I don’t know if I would want to return unless the price is more reasonable.

Room was great and updated, beautiful resort, bar is very nice, close to a lot of nice wineries. Since there are 2 big pools one should be adults only, it was hard to relax by the pool with so screaming kids. The reason for the 2 star review is because of something extremely concerning that happened at check in. We stayed from 8/29-9/1. We checked in and were given keys to room 405, we go and scan the key, and there’s a couple in the room! We were both shocked, and we went to the desk, and we were offered a quick apology and a $25 credit. She said ‘oops, I meant to give you 407 not 405’ The shock hadn’t worn off so we went on with our day but the more we thought about it the more it bothered us, specially how nonchalant the staff member was about it. Thankfully my husband and I are good people, but what if the room was empty and all of their stuff was stolen? What if a crazy man was given the key and a woman was alone in the room? This was an extremely dangerous situation and the staff needs to be more mindful. We were worried the whole weekend about someone walking into our room. I hope whoever stayed in room 405 on 8/29 got a full refund because honestly for them to be walked in on was way worse than us walking in on them.

Good resort with nice amenities. Lots to do around the area and family friendly. Rooms are somewhat updated but are aging for sure. Only downside of being pet friendly is we are pretty sure there were fleas on the couch and got bit a few times.

This is my second time attending an event at Silverado Resort. Wow, this place is nice. All the staff were so friendly. The food was great. Previously, one of our friends got a room and we all loved hanging out there. They also have weddings here. Great job everyone at Silverado Resort.

Nice resort - we didn't partake in a lot of the amenities, so I may have scored higher had we done so. We stayed in a 3 bed/2 bath condo, which was very nice. Good location for running up and down the valley for winery tours and tastings. Golf course looked great.

Positive: Hospitality Negative: Bike riding not available as advertised. The price of our stay was charged twice to my debit card. We requested a late check out but when we came back to our room there were people inside already , throwing away our belongings. Long wait for the spa.
