Directional signage and traffic management desperately needed. Redirected twice & waited more than an hour today to drop off a few household waste items.
So these brain surgeons have their gypsum collection at the upwind location from everything they do. There is the standard prevailing winds off the bay that push that dust on everyone in the green waste area. Almost forgot I was in California with that constant dust plume into the atmosphere. This place need to be reported!
This place always closes early without notice, website says 4 pm but you better be there before 3 pm or you will find the ewaste and recycling yard coned off, with someone out there sliding his hand under chin as to say they are cut off or closed. Just frustrating. Should be true to your customers and be open til the posted time or post that you really close at 3:30pm
I was so impressed with all the lovely smart responsible staff ,in and out of the facility, I can't believe how much patience respect they have!! I'm a single lady trying to my constructe my huge house into a HUNTED HOUSE for HALLOWEEN. It has been a year! trying to take all unwanted debri out . I bought a truck just to be able to take loads The 3,000 doller truck ....ended up b eing a lemon ! so now I'm renting uhaul , It's been overwhelming trying to find good workers . One person I hired even said they went to dumps , come to find out they dumped it in napa field, even leaving my trash & recycling bins there. That's when I decided to try to just do it myself . It's been hard .Crying almost everyday with pain.when i wake up losing my mind trying to stay focused . When I finally get the load to NAPA RECYCLING CENTER I am so tired it seems I always lose track of something, ( keys, money, credit card,phone,etc trying to get to the RECYCLING CENTER and by 4:00 I am usually the one who is in the gate last . This is where the staff is so great It is like they totally understand, even if they do not know my situation.. I know they have been working hard all day ! And want to go home and they still never give me a hard time . I heard the other people comment,,,
how bad the staff is at the RECYCLING CENTERS in other towns. I really would like to let the LADYS that I talk to on the way in and out of facility IThat I'm sorry for being such a Un organized micombobulated crazy lady!!! Lol I couldn't believe that I was the last customer to dump and on top of that my payment would not go through, not one time but a few times before that and The girls were patient with me as I panic. freaking out ! Not once were they rude or unrespectful. They were very much UNDERSTANDING so much PERFECTIONISM.! I couldn't believe it. I was very impressed !!!!! It is so hard to find good workers these days and THIS PLACE IS FULL OF POSSITIVITY NOT NEGATIVITY. Thank you...Sincerely, Terra

Naama took us on an amazing and insightful tour of the composting and recycling facility. She was a great source of information and inspiration about recycling.
The thing I hate at the yard waste dump is you cant unload quickly because there is only enough room for a couple of trucks and the front loader is right there moving the material.
That is why one of the big front loaders already accidentally picked up a car because they can't see what's in front of them with that big bucket
Then the guy that tells you where to dump is talking to customers rather than telling you where to dump and when you are already ready to dump he comes up and tells you you have to go to the other side or if you've been going there for a long time and you know that you have to go to the other side and tell him you don't have and wood , tree limbs or garbage he will wave at you to stop and take his time walking up to you just to tell you to go ahead.
At first the guy thats there now pissed me off because he will write down your license plate # all the time. When they are only suppose to do that to the ones that have garbage with the yard waste.
Wish the old man that was there before hadn't retired. He had that place running smoothly.
