Really happy to find a good local shop! My work truck needed some love as I was approaching 100,000 miles.Abraham and the crew did an awesome job and got my truck fixed up and returned quickly. While they were replacing the front struts and lower ball joints they discovered that my brake calipers had come loose and the hardware was damaged, they fixed the calipers and replaced the hardware with out charging me for the labor! Abraham is very friendly and took the time to give me clear updates about what was happening. It's refreshing to work with people like Abraham and I highly recommend this shop, My truck is running the best it has in a long time thanks to the crew at Automotive Service Center of Seaside!

Incredible service, I came in one day because my car was feeling off and I needed to go to a long trip in a couple days, so I went in without an appointment, last minute to ask for help and was treated with great service and they told me they would look at my car the next day first thing in the morning and they checked my car and even did an oil change that same day. They gave me the reassurance that I needed and made me feel confident in my trip. Thank you for all your help.

Always happy that I took my current and former Subaru cars here. Scott is so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. My car is in good hands! Once I popped by unannounced because my hood just decided not to shut properly and Scott took the time to look at it for me!

Short story; I highly recommend Automotive Service Center of Seaside! Five stars isn’t high enough! Scott and his technician are extremely professional. Scott communicated everything in detail, and is honest. Take your car to them! Long Story; Recently while visiting Seaside for a day trip, my Check Engine light came on coinciding with motor noise. Two things you never want to happen, especially while you’re out of town. I checked all my fluids and everything was fine. I did a quick internet search for a mechanic near me who had the best reviews and Lavender Brothers Automotive Service Center was at the top of the list. I called and Scott picked up the phone. After explaining my car problem and situation he told me to come over. This was 3pm and two hours before closing. Scott and his technician did a a computer diagnostic test and found a problem with the third cylinder. So it was most likely the coil or spark plug. Unfortunately, where they are located could mean 3 1/2 hours of labor before they could be reached. Which meant I would be stuck without my car overnight. Scott and his technician decided to try to reach the cylinder without moving the manifold first. At 4pm, I left thinking that I most likely was going have to come back and pick up my car another day. To my surprise and relief, Scott called me just before 5pm and told me my car was done. They were able to reach the third coil and check it and it was the problem, not the spark plug, which would have meant spending $600+ more and not getting my car fixed that day. They waited for me to return, which was after closing time. Scott and his technician went out of their way to put my car first even though they had several cars they were working on when I arrived. They would be my new mechanics if I lived in town. But now I know where to bring my car if I ever have trouble while in Seaside/Monterey. They turned an awful situation into a positive situation.

Our family came to this town for a short summer stay in our new travel trailer, unexpectedly, the trailer hitch was giving us problem. My husband was so worried, think that we probably won't be able to continue go to the places that we have planned to go to. We called couple of car shops around us, they were all not able to help us. When we called this shop, the person there picked up the phone, said " bring the car, let's see if we can help you. " As soon as we drove our car there, they both stopped doing what they were working on, in 5 minutes, the issue was solved. We were so happy. They're great people with good heart. Thank you.

Trustworthy, reliable, very fast & the team at Lavender Bros. always communicates their diagnostics and recommendations in a clear and kind manner that leaves me feeling empowered and informed...never condescending or “shady” like I’ve experienced at other auto shops.

I found Scott, Matt and all of the guys over at Automotive Service Center of Seaside to be very courteous, professional and of the highest integrity. I took my 2004 Jeep Wrangler in for some suspension work and they were great. The owner is a real Jeep guy and they really know what they're doing. I'm planning on regearing my Jeep eventually and I definitely plan to go back to these guys. They're really passionate about what they do.

I visited this shop for a noise my Jeep was making. Scott worked me as quick as he could and they did a full diagnostic and got me on my way. They were very honest and good people. I recommend to anyone!

This place solved a mystery on my car that’s been causing me problems for more than a year and that at least 4 other shops and mechanics couldn’t figure out! . We’re not from here so we weren’t sure where to take my car when it wouldn’t start (again). We made the decision based on websites and experience with Subarus or imports. Looks like we choose the right place. . They were busy (which we took as a good sign) but still got to my car faster than anticipated. They were also reasonably priced - even to our out-of-state low priced expectations ;) AND most importantly they found this malfunctioning culprit and saved us thousands of dollars in future futile repairs. . They discovered this after market alarm system that I didn’t even know it was there! My car has worked perfectly ever since. Then icing on the cake, their communication - Scott at the front desk - was excellent. We’ve never had a more thorough intake process and we could tell they honestly cared. Apparently their techs are as good as their customer service. Highly recommend Automotive Service Center of Seaside.

One of the best mechanics I've taken my car to. Got a 2008 Honda Accord that I took in with a check engine light on, most of which they correctly attributed to a weak battery. Matt then determined that the O2 sensor needed a replacement, which they installed for me quick and easy. Unfortunately, the wrong O2 sensor was ordered, but Matt was very quick with ordering the correct part for me and installing it at no extra charge. He even offered some free services for the trouble, but I was just happy he was straight with me. He took a personal interest in helping me and a visit or two later I was all set, no more light and confident about the health of my car. I couldn't be happier with how honestly this location operates and the level of care I received here. I tell everyone to come here without reservation. Thank you all so much!

This is the newest garage in the Lavender Brothers auto family and they are a great addition to the reliable, reasonable service clients of Lavender brothers customers have come to know. They put a tow hitch on my Toyota Siena and Im happy. Off to do some fun stuff towing my trailer.
