Amazing crew, Robin in particular kept me informed and very helpful whole time. Had a rear diff repaired and some other things that came their attention. Stayed past closing on a friday till we got the parts in and installed. New shop found!

Recently had work done to our son's truck. Although it took some time (parts order), we feel like they did a good job and were very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained things well.

Top notch knowledge and service. Did a front to back wiring harness plus more on my truck in 3 days. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. No need to take any of my vehicles elsewhere. Lavender brothers has my business for life.

I have been using Lavender Brothers for a few years for our F-150 and our Subaru and have nothing but great things to say. My experience has been that Robin is the main point of contact and schedules appointments, handles billing, etc. He has been a great communicator and nice to work with. The other thing that is really valuable is that he understands the mechanical issues and can explain what is going on. That is so much more helpful than talking to someone that knows nothing about the mechanics, as you can actually ask questions and get clarity immediately. I have also spoken with Abraham, and he too was very communicative and explained the issues. I originally came to them during the pandemic as the dealership was unable to get a part we needed. Lavender Brothers suggested possibly sending it off to have it rebuilt as it could be a long time. (The dealership never suggested that option.) Lavender Brothers coordinated removing it and sending it off. Unfortunately it was not able to be rebuilt in the end, but Lavender Brothers kept watching for new parts and called me months later when the part became available, and then installed it. The dealership was supposed to do the same, but I never heard back from them. Another time I had an automatic window that stopped working. They replaced the defective parts and all was working again. At some point a number of months later we started having some intermittent problems, and then about a year later it stopped working completely. I brought the car in and they took a look and found my kids probably got some food in the controls. They cleaned it out and everything worked fine. They didn't even charge me. So I can say they have been fair and understanding as well.

I would like to point out that I visited this automotive repair center when I was having a noise from a plastic hanging from my fence, I ran into the front desk and told to a staff member my problem he took a look at it, and in matter of minutes got a screwdriver and solved the issue, not to say he didn't even charged for the help!!! I had visited 2 places that were in the same street and they wanted to give me an appointment to lift the van and I was in a hurry...It's not easy to find ethical mechanics that won't perform a revision just to justify for charging you nevertheless real human beings. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your time and consideration!!! You saved me... Thank you so much!!!

I have been having cars repaired for over 40 years and I recently had an experience that blew my mind. Lavender Bothers in Seaside is an anomaly, a one-of-a-kind and a godsend. From the moment I called to say my brand new brakes (unfortunately, not from them) were making a terrifyingly loud grinding noise and I was afraid to drive the 45 miles back to the shop that installed them, until the problem was diagnosed and repaired 4 hours later, they were professional, helpful, and kind. Not to mention, extremely capable!They diagnosed an error in the installation of one of the calipers (no grease!), fixed the problem and… (drumroll…) negotiated with the original installer to have them pay the bill! You read that right, I did not pay a penny to the Lavender Brothers. In addition, they explained to me, and documented on my receipt, that because the one wheel was messed up, the brakes on the other wheels were likely affected due to uneven wear, so now the original installer is going to make that right! My experience with the people at Lavender Brothers was one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had with any kind of repair company and I will never go anywhere else again. The man who took my call and handled the job for me told me the company takes pride in their work and their integrity and I can attest to both. They are wonderful.

Abraham and the crew at Lavender were great when I opted to install a larger fuel tank on my Super Duty. Looking forward to having them handle more upgrades for me when the time is right. Highly recommend these guys!

From the beginning of this repair process with Lavender Bros…and Abraham everything was on target and straight forward no hidden cost just communication from the start… in fact they came in lower than the original price and helped me out with keeping the price low with added brakes and shocks! Traveling out of town and I was recommended by other mechanics to go here for my Promaster Van! Abraham and Toby gave me a fair and honest price to replace my transmission, front brakes and a few other front end parts that needed tlc. As a female solo traveler I felt confident that they wanted to help make sure I got back on the road safely, answering all my questions, being patient with my decision making, and working out an overall excellent price and plan with me. Other mechanics wanted outrageous prices and to take advantage, Lavender Brothers was fair and honest. They even fixed the slap job brake work a previous mechanic recently did and properly diagnosed the front end noises. Of all places my vans transmission could have clunked I am thankful it was in Monterey and that I was led to this shop! I’ve taken my car here twice and each time they’ve been super nice and get my car done as soon as they can! I was afraid to go to a mechanic in this area since I moved here recently and wasn’t sure who I could trust, but I definitely recommend coming here if you are like me and don’t know much about cars and need a trustworthy mechanic to help out ? personally I’ve been helped by Toby and he’s super nice and friendly, and definitely very helpful!

This is a call I got from Lavender Brothers: "We fixed your truck, it turns out it didn't require any new parts." It's an honest shop doing top notch work. The story has been the same each time I've gone in.

Toby and his team are simply the best. They rebuilt my 2018 Expedition's engine professionally and as promised. They asked for 8 days to do the work and had it done in 5. They handled all the paperwork with my warranty company and performed exactly as promised. There is good reason that they are so highly rated. They also are great communicators - which so often does not happen. Glad I listened to the reviews and took my car to Lavendar Bros.

Toby, Robin, and the rest of their crew are knowledgeable, reliable, and honest in all aspects of their business. You can trust them to treat you right and get you back on the road. Highly recommended, especially for all things Jeep. Appreciate all ya'lls help.

Quality work,fair prices, and very knowledgeable staff make Lavender brothers the only place I will take my vehicles on the central coast. Dropped my truck off and they handled everything. From diagnosing to dealing with extended warranty to the finished work. Easy to deal with and truck drives great now. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Selected this place for the good reviews. Brought them my cargo van with a drivetrain/motor mount issue. They basically spent hundreds of dollars to balance my front tires. They have it back knowing the issue was ongoing. The issue is now significantly worse. And now I can't even schedule service for repair; they won't call me back.

My experiences at Lavender Brother's has left me feeling forever grateful for finding these guys, Toby and his crew truly are the best at what they do!! My big thing is honesty, its really hard to find that quality these days and you will definitely find it here! You will receive top notch customer service from some highly skilled extremely knowledgable individuals!! Trust me you wont be disappointed!!!

2nd issue with this shop. Similar problems. 1st time I had leveling kit installed. I went over a bump and it sounded like my suspension bottomed out. Brought truck back and they discovered there was parts that weren’t installed with the new kit (couple bolts). They fixed it. And offered to replace the suspension if I was uncomfortable with the suspension bottoming out for couple of days. Was happy with the offer. But declined. And continued using them. 2nd issue. Had brakes replaced. On way home. Truck started pulling to the right. Brought it back. Found out there was a caliper bolt missing…, Was of coursed fixed. And got an apology. Seems like the mechanics need more quality control. Service advisor claims bolts get torqued to proper specs. But unless you’re actually back there watching. How could you possibly know. It’s unfortunate I will not be using this shop anymore. I really like the guys upfront. But the quality control needs huge help. Missing bolts and parts/components of suspension and brakes is a huge safety issue. Hopefully they can get back to where they used to be. Which was a great shop known for quality work. Unfortunately, hearing similar stories. It’s just not there anymore.

Lavender Brothers helped me with my Jeep. Robin was my primary contact. I can’t say enough good about the communication and quality of work. I trust these folks and will continue to go to them for my needed auto service work.

I ran into trouble on Highway 1, and limped my PT Cruiser into the first open shop that I found, my brake caliper dangling by one loose bolt out of what should have been two tight bolts. Matt greeted my dog Petey Cruiser and me in a busy lot in front of his busy shop. He told me that he would be happy to check over the car to make sure it was safe to drive if I was willing to leave it for at least a couple of days. This was very acceptable to me as many shops are booked weeks ahead, and I knew that there was deferred maintenance that needed to be addressed. A couple of days later I have a complete run down of parts that need replacement and I am authorizing the work. As the days went by, different issues were uncovered, and Matt was great with communicating with me, and Pablo was taking very good care of my 2004 Chrysler like it was a 2023 Cadillac. When there was a loss in his family, Matt personally finished up my coilover setup and alignment on my slammed Cruiser. They were very accommodating in finding ways to minimize costs on parts and labor, and they treated my dog and me like family. Considering the fact that they fit me into an obviously very busy schedule without an appointment and my technician needed to take time to be with his family, the turnaround was completely reasonable. The car rides and drives so much better now, but more importantly I feel like I have found the shop that treats both my car and me with honesty and respect, and that's more rare than my 1 of 1306 Dream Cruiser Series 3.

We had our 2014 Ford Explorer in for a coolant flush and change. The guys at the shop were great with getting us in on a Friday. Not only did they perform the service but they also did a multi point inspection and pointed out a couple items to keep an eye on. I am very happy with their service and will use them again in the future!

I took my older Jeep in to get my brake failure diagnosed. Staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I got the bad news that the Jeep needed a lot more than it was worth after they thoroughly inspected the vehicle. We decided not to repair the vehicle and better off selling for parts or as an off road project. They were generous enough to not charge for the diagnosis. Would highly recommend this place on service experience alone. They do military discount, too.

Staff is professional and knows their stuff! They installed an after market Bull bar on my husbands truck which looks fantastic and I wanted them to install some runners on my car that I bought on line. After looking at the product they were honest and determined the product was not of a good quality, not made to fit my year model and would not be safe to install. I really appreciate the honesty and placing safety and quality of their work over making money on a job. Now I will let them find the correct parts and proceed from that point. Highly Recommend!

I've been taking my 2006 F-150 to Lavender Brothers since I've owned the truck, about 3 years. I Started taking it to them because the previous owner of the truck took it there while he owned it. I trust them completely with my truck and drive away feeling confident in the work performed. They go thru everything. On the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend.

We went to the one on 1624 del Monte and these guys really did a great job with our 7.9L diesel Ford E350. They made us feel really taken care of while keeping us informed. Our alternator was pooped out and they did a thorough diagnostic to make sure we didn't have anymore problems, while also taking care of the main one. Thanks guys!

I brought my jeep into Lavender Brothers and they have been nothing short of amazing. Robin has been incredible helping me step by step with the customization of my jeep. This is the best shop in town for any automotive work or custom fabrication. I will not take my jeep anywhere else. Lavenders brother are the best shop in California.

The crew here was play and knowledgeable. They did exactly what I asked for at a reasonable price and in a timely fashion. They have experience with a wide range of cars and trucks I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back here in the future for my auto repair needs. They also specialize in off-road vehicles so if you want to get a lift done or perhaps some rock sliders this is a good place to look at in this area. There are not a lot of shops around here that will do that.
