So relaxing. We had a couple massage and one of the best ive ever had to date! We got to enjoy the grounds, the people were all nice and the energy was just what we needed. We will be back and highly recommend this lovely place.

Great stay! Room was cute and cozy, and the heater worked great. The staff was really friendly and helpful about navigating the area. The springs were amazing and fun to soak in for a couple hours. The ground and hiking trails are beautiful too. Overall, really nice place to get away!

Lovely! Got a day pass and had the best time. The baths are amazing and my skin felt soft and nourished after. It was beautiful to sit in the hot tub under the stars! Highly recommend!

Great fella at the check in office, was very kind and helpful! This place is so cool. Beautiful property, lot of historic. One of the best walking trails and hiking places I've been. The champagne tubs were cool, a unique experience. Want to come back when it warmer to spend some time in the beautiful pool!

Amazing hot springs! 700 acres: stunning, serene, & healing. The water in these hot springs is found only in Vichy, France, Madagascar, & this spot in Ukiah. Thousands of tiny CO2 bubbles called 'champagne' feel incredible. The front desk lady was amazing. Go! Enjoy serenity! ?

I loved my weekend getaway to Vichy Springs. The grounds were peaceful and well-maintained. Plenty of wildlife too! We saw several deer on the property. I loved the quaint room and honestly, no TV was a huge plus. They have free wifi but it didn’t work well for me and I didn’t get much cell service, so I was disconnected for the most part but I didn’t mind! The champagne baths were so unique and relaxing, I couldn’t stay away from them. The resort offers a beautiful breakfast buffet and is close by to downtown Ukiah for restaurants and shops. My only qualm is the price - I spent almost $900 for two nights, and I’m not sure it is worth that. However, I do plan on returning in the future.

We stopped in for a few hours of soaking and swimming. We went into the outdoor soaking tubs near the spring source display chamber. The water was bubbly and clear. The tubs seemed to be ancient cast iron. We then went to the 25 meter long, 8 feet (deep end) outdoor swimming pool which was fabulous.

It was a nice trip mid September. The springs are actually warm, not hot. But the nice thing is you can sleep - with hot springs, you can never do that. So go mineral springs and then beauty baths, then the heated pool - the perfect way to spend two hours in the water. We stayed in the Mountain Room, which is nice. It was a short walk to the baths. We also hiked to the waterfall, with the meandering trail along the creek - sometimes you have to cross the creek to keep going. So it was a fun hike.

What a great place for a peaceful, beautiful, unique, quaint stay (or day) with a touch of adventure and relaxation in a beautiful setting that feels far away yet is just a few minutes from town and Hwy 101. The property offers a great opportunity for nature immersion without roughing it. Be prepared for a somewhat rustic, natural experience rather than a high-end, opulent spa. I did anticipate a more reverent and quiet experience than I had: that is no fault of the facility but rather my own for having expectations and hopes. This is a family- and group- friendly facility and, as such, it was unfair for me to expect people would speak in whispers like the monastery, though the profound presence and power of nature here really moved me to crave it. The place is unpretentious yet very nice and allows you to be yourself and enjoy it.

The champagne bubbles in this healing historic site are health promoting indeed. The grounds and pools are very inspiring, not to mention healing and relaxing. The rooms are well designed and clean. You can unplug here and enjoy the trails with wildlife too. But we found gun magazines in the room's drawer off putting. Especially with the gun practicing range audible and close by.

Great first time experience. The rooms were very clean and updated. The salt water Olympic size pool was great. Very clean and refreshing. Now the tubs: They are very relaxing and comfortable. This is a perfect getaway for couples. We will be going back.

Imagine stepping into a natural hot tub that the earth made just for you—except the water isn’t flat and ordinary. It’s sparkling, naturally carbonated, like soaking in a giant glass of mineral-rich sparkling water. Tiny bubbles fizz against your skin while the warmth melts away stress. It’s an ecological gift.

The Vichy baths are a unique experience! The water is warm, and the bubbles make it very relaxing. The hiking trails were great, though the map was innaccurate and confusing. Definitely worth taking a day just to explore the property with a hike to the waterfall and cinnabar mine.

The property was beautiful. The baths were easy to use. The rooms were cute and quaint with no TV which was actually pretty nice. Quiet and relaxing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that for my first hot springs experience, it wasn't very hot. They said it was 90°, and 94° for the baths and it felt more like 70° and 74°. The carbonated water was pretty cool. And the hike to the waterfall was mostly shady and easy. Wear shoes so you dont slip!

Beautiful, relaxing location. The water was perfect. I love that there is no use of pool chemicals and that the water in the baths is straight out of the ground. I always feel like I've experienced some healing when I leave this place.

If you haven’t been before there is no time like now! Vichy Springs is a one of a kind magical destination. Quiet and peaceful with naturally healing waters. I feel so refreshed and my skin is so soft!

We wanted to go on a girls trip to Mendocino county and I did stay here before, in 2014. It's at the end of a country road and it's very quiet and peaceful. We booked a one bedroom cottage(number 25). My friend took the bedroom and I used the living room couch bed. The cottage has a nice porch, kitchen and a large bathroom(disabled accessible bathroom). I used all the tubs and the solar heated pool. The champagne spring water is carbonated and at a comfortable 90 degrees. It was relaxing in the tubs. There is also a nature trail. My last morning I went on the trail and it was full of lizards sunning themselves, then, on the edge of the trail a snake was curled up. At the trailhead they warn of rattlesnakes. This snake was not a rattler, but I decided to leave it be and turn back and go to the breakfast room. I have to say, their breakfast buffet was excellent. The fresh fruit was really good, their scrambled eggs are fine, lots of pastries and bagels with cream cheese available. Yogurt, milk and granola also available. Coffee and tea. Plates, glasses, tea cups and silverware were there which I like. They do have to go coffee paper cups if you need. Others mention the nearby gun range and that can get loud so that does interfere with the peaceful setting, but this is life out in rural areas. And related to the rural setting, the wifi can be spotty. This forced a digital detox which I did not mind! I had plenty of books to read.

Here are the positive highlights : lovely peaceful grounds. Gorgeous Olympic size pool with plenty of seating. Interesting historic “champagne baths” and a hot tub ( no jets) Here’s the very very bad… the stressful, alarming sound of gunshots all day from a nearby gun range. It was totally impossible to relax without AirPods which kind of defeats the purpose. The owner was kind enough to refund our last day and we went home early. Otherwise, it is a gorgeous property and I hope the owner is able to prevail on his case against the local gun club causing the property owner and their guests so much distress.

I highly recommend this hot spring and the famous Champe Bath for those who love nature and simplicity. It's a ranch-style resort surrounded by hills, forests, and a creek, offering mineral hot springs for a peaceful, relaxing getaway—whether for an overnight stay or a day trip away from the city. I first visited in December for a day-use visit while passing through town and absolutely loved it. I returned in March for an overnight trip with a girlfriend and had the incredible experience of soaking in the Champe Bath under an open sky filled with stars and a bright half-moon. It was amazing, though a bit chilly when stepping out of the tub to get to the hot springs. The next morning, we enjoyed another session of the Champe Bath, followed by the hot springs and the Beauty Bath under the sunshine, which was even more relaxing and pleasant. I love this place and will visit as often as I can whenever I'm back in the Bay Area.

This is a magical place to unplug and recharge. The springs are fantastic, the hot tub and pool are sparkling clean and the rooms are charming and well-appointed. There's even a lovely complimentary breakfast served every morning. It's one of my favorite places ever.

A hidden gem. Great family hosts, and the most wonderful springs experience. If we lived closer we would be regulars! The history of Vichy Springs is fascinating. The grounds of the resort are beautifully maintained along with their facilities. And of course the spring baths are truly remarkable. I’ve never been so relaxed. Gentlemen, want to score some major points? Book a stay or get a day pass and treat your special person.

Vichy Springs Resort is peaceful, calm, and relaxing. It sounds odd to say it, but the old concrete tubs where you lift a pipe to let the wonderful bubbly mineral water flow over you is complete heaven! you have to take a leap of faith and once you lie there, float, let the water flow over you and let go--it was wonderful. It was a warm sunny day when we were there, barely anyone else around, and we were in complete bliss mode. The hotter tub was nice and then we did the pool cold plunge in the big pool and then an outdoor shower. My neck and back pain are gone, my stiff joints are relaxed. Bathing suits are required, which makes it feel more relaxed compared to some of the nude places when others are around. ||I'll be back! Close enough to the SF Bay area for a nice weekend getaway with friends.

We did not stay at the resort. We went to get a 1hr massage for 2 people. The total bill was $440. They automatically charged an additional day use fee of the facility even though the website says no “day use” on Labor Day weekend. Any other spa/massage would include facility use. Kind of a blindside. We had to ask for towels because technically the massage guest are not provided towels, weird? The facilities are very rustic. Updated this review, Vichy Springs reconsidered and refunded the “day use fee” since we were not there more than a few hours after our massage. Thanks

One of my favorite hot springs! The water is so refreshing. If the pools are busy you can check out the local trails. Apparently one leads to a waterfall. The day I went there was a group coming back that said they saw two rattlesnakes in the tall grass walking along the trail. I went half ways to the bridge and decided to turn around after a quick visit with the newts. I cannot wait to return.
