  Friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be tight when they're busy but they do their best to help guide you in and out as well as unload. I've been taking my recycling here for years without a single issue.

  SCAM!! Guy operating scale is as dishonest as your gonna find. He will do whatever necessary, including lie to your face repeatedly to cheat u out of being paid according to what u bring. Personally ive seen metals mislabeled as cheaper ones. Weight tampering as well. Go anywhere else if u value your time, effort and $. COMPLETE SCUMBAGS!!!!

  They always try and scam you. For instance. Bare bright copper is considered anything bigger then 16 gauge. And I took all 14-12 and the guy argues that 16 is bigger then mine. He thinks I have no clue that the gauge system goes down in number the biggest wire I can get is #2

  I really like New Horizon; the owner/boss seems quite affable as do the other workers. When I have time, shopping the shelves is interesting & sometimes productive. The prices paid for your recyclables are good, tho I forgot to note what rates were paid June 20 '20!

  Beware of SCAM! I took some of the scrap I had left from a project. It was clean industrial grade aluminum and the guy in charge of weighing the material called his boss over the radio to ask how much to buy it for; I not clearly heard to buy it for the lowest possible, but they didn't know I had weight the material before taking it. For my surprise they were cheating me close to 200 lbs. of aluminum and to top it off, the front guy went to my vehicle and wrote on a paper my plate number like if I was stealing like they were doing it to me. IF YOU GO, MAKE SURE HOW MANY POUNDS OF MATERIAL YOU ARE TAKING FIRST.
