Broke down on the highway and called my roadside assistance. They sent JSA Towing and glad they did. Claudia (dispatcher) called me right away and was responsive, clearly communicated, and very friendly. She understood my unique situation in that I had both my truck and a hitched trailer. The tow tech (Mauricio) they sent was amazing. He made sure to be safe, was very courteous, and made sure to get me to the repair shop safely
What a contrast. Before getting assigned JSA by my roadside service, I actually called a different tow company that was local in Tehachipi. While the lady was courteous, they were taking longer to get back to me then quoted nearly double the price.

The driver Mauricio just picked up my jeep that needed a tow. He was so friendly and made me feel safe and comfortable. He also let my son up close because he loves tow trucks. Would definitely use this company and the driver again!

My parents were referred to this company through their insurance. They were told the tow truck would be there in an hour. Once that hour lapsed they were told it would be another 60 to 90 minutes. Nearly 3 hours later the tow truck has still not arrived and the only person they are able to contact via phone just keeps apologizing because she doesn't know what is going on and where a truck is. If it wasn't for some nice people driving past my parents truck would still be sticking out into the road waiting for a tow.
Update: The tow truck finally arrived almost 4 hours later after their insurance company called to find out what was going on.
Jose Lepe is awesome. Efficient, kind and knowledgeable. Also a very safe driver. The reason for 4 stars is because the truck had no working air conditioning and this is the desert!

My cargo van broke down in the grapevine and I scheduled a 8AM tow. Mauricio showed up at 7:45 after A1 had texted twice to give me updates. It was nice to be kept informed every step of the way. Mauricio was quick, professional and an uplifting human being. Towing your car is not supposed to be a such a positive experience! Would recommend A1 towing to anyone, 10/10 service.
Mauricio was a great help he made sure we were completely out of the situation we had ended up in. Also, they were quick to respond and resolve our issue with our truck. Mauricio was also instructed to leave us where we were by his superior, but chose to continue to help us and get the job done while there was many obstacles in the job but he found a way to get it done.
Mauricio was so positive and helpful. I was pretty discouraged my car broke down on the side of the road but he lifted my spirits and came quickly to pick me up and get me to a mechanic. I am very thankful for him. 10/10 would use this company and Mauricio again
Car engined died, showed up and Mauricio was friendly, personable, super helpful! The drive back into the city (we were an hour outside of the city) was nice and comfortable. And the drop off of the car was smooth. Everything was smooth and he was super helpful and funny. 10/10 would get a tow again haha
Ordered roadside through my ins mobile app. Received text confirmation, I waited 45 mins, called their dispatch for status only to be told there was never an order placed. The girl was dismissive, no help, rude, and referred me to call my ins co. I called my ins, rep calls your towing company she was informed a different story. So unprofessional, and unreliable. Meanwhile I’m still waiting over an hour.
My car overheated driving home about 8o’clock at night. I was on back roads in the middle of nowhere & it was pitch black with sketchy phone service. Very scary for a woman.. but got a hold of A1 Towing , they were so nice & called me several times to confirm. The truck driver showed up really quick! Leo was the driver, very friendly & had my car hooked up in no time. He knew what he was doing and made me feel comfortable with my car, that it was in good hands. He delivered it to the mechanics shop! Thank you A1 Towing for your wonderful service!
Popped the tire on the freeway and my insurance contacted A1 HD towing to service my toe/tire change. When they called me to give me an ETA, the lady on the phone said it would be 60 to 90 minutes. Then they sent a text with the ETA of 90 to 120 minutes. So already that wasn’t great. At the 95 minute mark, they sent another text that actually it would be an additional 75 minutes. Mind you, it is getting close to being dark, I am traveling by myself, stuck on the side of the freeway. I ended up calling another local tow and they were there within 20 minutes of my call. Why it took A1 HD over three hours, I have no idea. (I canceled my toe with A1 HD, when the other one arrived, which was at the 3:10hr mark) So probably not my go to for an emergency
Dennis was highly professional and helpful in my lock out situation. He handled himself well and got everything squared away very quickly. I highly recommend him for a promotion and a raise.
We had the most wonderful opportunity to have Mauricio as our tow driver today. I have never experienced such a kind and caring person who went well beyond his duties in towing our car safely home. As a very pregnant woman with my 2 children with me, he did not hesitate to take us home as well. If you are ever in need of towing I HIGHLY recommend A1 HD Towing and if possible request Mauricio. Our driver, Mauricio went above and beyond to help us after being stuck on the side oh the highway for over 12 hours and everything that could go wrong go wrong, he showed up and showed out doing everything in his power to get our truck disconnected from our trailer. After hours of working on ideas and putting them to the test we were finally able to get them to the shop. Thanks again Mauricio !
The first truck came and decided to scrape the back of my car because they didn’t have blocks like I suggested. The second truck came with a lift and almost cracked my custom exhaust cover. FINALLY, after 4 hours of waiting for service and 3 drivers later, Jose Lepe from A1HD Towing came to the rescue and got us taken care of. We truly appreciate him and want to give him a really big “THANK YOU” for assisting us properly and safely!

Mauricio was our driver. He was friendly and very accommodating. In addition to his excellent customer service skills, he showed up when they said they would, which has not been my experience as of late with tow truck companies. All in all a great experience.
Spencer deserves a significant raise! He is a stellar representative for your company. He works efficiently, quickly and with attention to detail- yet, he does not rush and my wife and I could tell safely was his # 1 priority. His customer 1st attitude, pleasant communication skills and family first attitude are admirable and unfortunately in this day and age rare. As far as we are concerned Spencer is a celebrity tow truck driver and we’re his #1 fans. Again, give the man a raise… you will never regret it!
Mauricio helped us tow our car, was very friendly and knowledgeable in towing a lowered car. Our car is only 1 inch from the ground and he was able to get it up and down onto the tow truck without a single scrape. Would definitely ask for him again should we need a tow truck again (with a project cars like this one we will definitely need a tow again lol). Marvin was our technician. He was great! He quickly changed the tire. Marvin was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable of our vehicle. My husband and I were stressed but Marvin kept us calm and laughing. I appreciate how personable he was while changing the tire. He also loaded the tire into the car and ensured that the spare was safe for us to use. Very thorough job and high quality service. I highly recommend A1 and Marvin.
