These people sold me a Winnebago that had a “good engine and transmission”, without keys. When I received the RV it was in pieces. All connections were cut, (water lines, heater, toilet) and the engine was missing pieces along with all the connections being cut as well. The “missing key”? More like missing entire ignition.
I expected for it to need some work but they were very malicious in cutting all the cords throughout the RV.
Now M&O refuses to take responsibility blaming it on one of their workers, Lalo Lathrop (who has stopped responding to me).
M&O / Lalo stole $1,000 from me. ($1800 if you count the tow cost to my home). Since no one wants to take responsibility, a police report will be filed.
Stay away from this company and its employees!
One of the most unprofessional companies. I had to call multiple times with a different time each time. Then was threatened to be canceled because I was questioning why they lacked communication. I finally got my car to a drivable point, and drove home. I cancelled and then called and cancelled my roadside service with my insurance, also requesting a refund. I explained that they really should remove this company from their referrals. They are so disgusting. I'm calling tomorrow morning and demanding to speak to my insurance company's manager to see where my refund is because I literally took care of the situation that my service was supposed to cover, but just kept getting yanked around with multiple times that they would be there to tow me. I waited and they still never showed. Ultimately, a bystander helped me resolve my issue that I paid for specifically. The only reason I got my service was to get help and this company will just leave you stranded when you're already stranded. Judging by all these reviews. This was not a me issue. At all. Furthermore, this was not an issue that was the fault of these other customers as well. Beware of this company.
On December 19th, 2024, my transmission went out and a passerby directed me to this company, and I know that some of the reviews here aren’t that great, but I had the most amazing experience with this company. I believe the person who came was named Milton or Oscar, one of those two, and I’m just a few minutes, he was at my location with my car on his truck. And being from out of town, I needed a place to store my car for a bit, and he allowed me to store it at his lot, which I’m extremely grateful for. He was super understanding of my situation, and gave me a bit of a discount on storage fees, and within a couple weeks, I was back for my car and the sale was made final. 10/10 experience, thank you for providing excellent services. I know who to call in the case I break down in the area.
i broke down in my jetta and called AAA for a tow. they dispatched this firm to come tow me. the driver called me back on a couple occasions as for i maxed out my 3 tows. i then called AAA back with my wifes number for authorization for 1 of her 3 tows. needless to say AAA made it happen. the the driver called and told me they they couldnt do it without my wife being there with the car and myself. i then became upset and called a private firm to tow my car as i was all ready 3+ hrs late for work. morrow towing came up to tow my car and i said dont bother. he left then came back and wanted to take a picture of my license plate and i stood in front of it and asked why? he said for liability resons i said liability? youv'e towed nothing. (probably so they could get paid for finally showing up) at that point i was outraged and told the driver "its not you you, but the custer service there is yet to be desired" so i took a picture of the name on the side of the truck and decided to post this review so other motorist can see just how much my situation was handeled in the time of need.
Oscar came out to Rosamond where I needed a tow yesterday and the time estimate was accurate. He kindly let me know that it would be better to have my car dropped off at my apartment since the tow yard charges a storage fee and also tried to help with my battery issue.
Idk how my comment keeps being deleted, but I'll say it again, this company will tow any vehicle without showing proof of ownership, one of the drivers said to me while i confronted him about the car that belong to a friend and some ladies claim it was theirs, the driver told the ladies i was nobody and i don't matter, i ask them if they had the pink slip to show ownership and they did not, the tow truck driver took the car without seeing proof of ownership, and the owner of the company was very unprofessional when i question their practice, i will say this again call this towing company to steal any car they don't check for ownership, your word is enough proof.
I cannot express my gratitude for Oscar at M&o towing …I had an abandoned truck in my driveway that had been there for months. The guy who left it there did so to my surprise and for months ignored any requests to move it.
My uncle who is a deaf senior citizen veteran couldnt even park in his own driveway & now we are selling the house and it was a. Eye sore as well as the fact of it being right in the way for us to be able to move. I called Oscar with desperation in my voice because up til now nobody would help.
Oscar was friendly and professional and came right away. No headaches…just a smooth positive perfect transaction.
He made such a difference for us & we are truly grateful for his kindness & quick service! You rock Oscar! Thanks again!!!!
Oscar is the most unprofessional "MANAGER" ever. He was very rude and disrespectful, he lied about his driver being at my house and he said he called and texted me but I have no missed calls or unread texts. He hung up on me twice and now doesn't want to answer my calls, I highly recommend not using this company. This is no way to run a business they shouldn't even be still in business with all of these bad reviews.
The rudest drivers ever. They didnt even drop the car off where it needed to go. The driver rude rude rude! The company when u call doesn't even care. WARNING! DO NOT USE!. If I could rate a 0 I would. They dropped they were supposed to drop at mechanic and their is a dirt driveway and they said they won't drive on dirt! WHAT?!! Dumped it in the street not even close enough to curb. Will have to pay another company to move it and also cause not close enough to curb will get tickets!
Ford sent them out to pick up my truck and the driver said I wasn't at pickup location . So he got paid from Ford and pulled up after he canceled it himself. Told me Ford canceled it and had me pay out of pocket. Later Ford told me they never canceled it . I was 5 hours from home and got stuck with this horrible company. Would not recommend dealing with them.
Just like the rest of the bad reviews on here. I’m being super generous with one star. Called insurance company for a tow and was assigned these clowns. Waited for 1hr 30min just to call them to find out they were never gonna tow me. Morons here. I guess you can’t fix stupid. Save your time and money and hit up another tow company.
This man whoever he was, was by far the worst service I’ve received by Allstate Roadside Assistance and I’m sure by other companies who hire them. Completely rude on the phone and in person, guy didn’t look like he even wanted to help me but whatever makes them money am I right?
Accidentally left my keys in my brothers car so asked him to wait 5 MINUTES. Guy didn’t even give me a straight answer. Just hopped back in his truck and left me. This towing company even had the audacity to say they completed my service and I had to repeat the entire process once more. If you’re reading this to research your towing company before they arrive. I suggest you cancel until you receive another one. This is insane they are still even working with Allstate or other insurances.
Called my insurance they dispatched in less than five minutes, driver was hete, my hpuse in 10!!!!!!! Very professional, curteous, even good sense of humor!!!! Asked for their catd, will use them now!!!
Renee’s customer service was unmatched. He arrived as expected and was so friendly and positive. He was nice enough to save me a tow, and had me on my way in no time.
Horrible service. My insurance provider had them be my tow service, not only could they not find me, they called me to tell me I need to call my insurance for a proper location because "I was wasting his time". I told the guy who called me that he was probably 1 street away. After that he just said, "call them" and he hung up. . . My insurance provider called me back and updated my location and told me that I'd be getting towed again soon. After an hour I called the insurance provider and they looked into my file and said that M & O closed my service because they couldn't find me.
Horrible service. I highly recommend someone else for the job.
In my experience of today(10/7/2020),This company was by far the most unprofessional service I have ever encounter in my life. When I mean unprofessional, I mean it. The company never showed up at the time promised, I had to call them for an update. A second time was given and I waited. No show and no call. I called again for the third time for another update. The Receptionist or dispatcher gave me another time. I ask if this time was It? She then stated “ you don’t have to wait, you can just cancel, you are choosing to wait”. Sounds about right when you are asking for service. She was very rude and disrespectful when I Inquired to clarify the ETA. Additionally, she accused me of disrespecting to the driver in advance, something that never happen. I had to stop her from making false allegation of something that had not occurred. The driver showed up late and had an attitude toward us and wanted to charge us extra for towing. He mention a labor fee, that all state was covering under our insurance. We ended up not using the service. The company never provide services and stated that they did provide services to our insurance company. Very Interesting experience.
THEY STOLE MY CAR. Absolutely horrendous. The tow truck driver himself was the best I’ve ever had, super punctual and cordial, even helped me get the car back in running order/assess the damage. The owner (or dispatcher) is a COMPLETELY different story. Rude as can be, seemed to be under the influence, had zero patience. The best part, however, is when the owner had our tow guy STEAL THE CAR to his storage lot until he received payment (which our insurance had called him several times about and offered him payment). Absolutely AWFUL person that man. I hope there’s some way we can take legal action once the situation is resolved. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Just terrible service! Would not recommend to future customers. They do not adhere to time commitments and are not customer friendly!! My preference would be to wait an additional hour or even longer for a towing service that was going to cater to the customer's needs, have consideration and do everything they can to make better a difficult situation.
I am only writing this not so great review so future M&O customers are forewarned and are prepared to endure potential bad service or be wise and go elsewhere. I do not want others to experience what I had to go through, very disappointing!
My wife and I were stranded in the middle of the desert and it was getting dark. She called roadside service and they said it would be about 50 minutes but it only took 20. The driver was prompt, professional and courteous. Thank you very much, you're the best! Keep up the great work
My wife was involved an a hit and run accident Our insurance company called M&O TOWING to come change a tire. After a 2 hour wait, 30 minutes longer then they said it would be, the driver arrived. He claimed he was given the wrong information and left. When I called the manager, he said the insurance company called and canceled the call as they didn't want to pay for it. He out and out lied to me. Do not use this company under any circumstances. I wish I could give 0 stars as this is the worse service I have ever had.
I'm filing complaints with the insurance company, LA County and the Sherriff's department and Better Business Bureau. They should lose their business license
Absolutely horrendous customer service. Called for a tow at 10am to be at my mechanic at 1:30, more than enough time. Estimated time of arrival was 11:20-11:30 waiting till 12:15 and nothing. I decided to call the towing company and they say it will be another 3-4 HOURS for a tow truck. No one bothered to call me. F$@K this company, and F$@K Allstate for using them. I wish I could give less than 1 star.
Best towing Service we ever had ..our driver, Rene was very professional. Curious, friendly...his truck was clean in and out ..and he was timely ..i received a text ..then the driver called personally to let us know he was in route and about approximately when he would be there ..we felt confident and safe that this driver was very qualified and knowledgeable in his job ..i would recommend this company to my family and friends .that WHEN and EVER you need a tow..call " M & O " ..and then relax they got it ..Ohh dont forget to ask for the nice guy Rene ...
Horrible service. Initial wait 60 minutes. Total wait 2 1/2 hours. I'm irritated, driver says, "I'm not ur husband, don't talk to me like that, people wait in the emergency room, u can wait, or call somebody else". I done already waited 2 1/2 hrs, and I can call another towing company. WOW! I didn't use profanity. Driver still isn't here yet.
Horrible. I called at 11:30 am and was told it would be 55 minutes until they could get to me. Then... radio silence. I called at 3:00 pm and they told me they decided to cancel the request without notifying me. Unacceptable and pathetic customer service. The operator's reason was, "We didn't have anyone in your area." I live in a city with a population of 220,000. It is not a small city. And this was a close tow service. Just doesn't make sense.
Insurance called M&O Towing Services and had them sent out at 4:42 it took them over 2 hours to us. Dealer is now closed and now we are unable to get a rental car. Also had tp deal with the lady on the phone with a HUGE attitude. Now have to take a bus over an hour away. Horrible service!
THIS IS THE WORSE TOWING COMPANY EVER!!! I would give them 0 stars if i could. They accepted a tire change job from my insurance for 24 hr road assistance. After 1 hr and 20 mins of waiting, they didn't show up. And when i called them, they said that they dont service my area at this time. Had to wait another 1 hr for insurance to send someone else. Did i mention that i had my 2 children with me. THIS IS THE WORSE TOWING COMPANY EVER!!!!
My insurance set me up with this company and was given an ETA of 10:04 this morning (wait time of 50 min)...64 min after no show and no answer to my numerous telephone calls.
Called my insurance and was told that after her numerous calls to this company she was told they are not able to fulfill the job without having the decency to advice my insurance company.
This company is beyond comprehension..rating this company a 1 is a gift to them.
I leave the rest to fate.
If I could give them half a star, I would. Only because they actually answered the phone when I called. Sitting for an hour waiting for their truck, to only find out they cancelled the call and didn't tell me. The girl seemed clueless as to what was going on. Told me to call my insurance again instead of the company handling the issue. Good thing a pack of wolves from the antelope valley didn't come and take us alive. I could have walked to the next freeway exit.
Left me stranded on the side of the road after calling me to say they'd be there in 30 min. I finally called back just to find out they canceled my call and never bothered to tell me. Supposedly, they told the insurance company and the insurance company was supposed to tell me but they never called them. Even if they had, MnO had my number so how about a courtesy call so I'm not sitting in the middle of the desert in 35 degree weather waiting all night for nothing? Doesn't seem like too much to ask for. Thank goodness I decided to call back and my phone wasn't dead yet.
