This place is always closing earlier than the times they have posted as their actual business hours. It's very frustrating and inconvenient as I am walking my recycling there and have to turn around and haul it all back with me. This happens too often.
They steal money from you. I brought transparent bags with bottles seperate. They said I had to use the basket. The scale faces away from you so you can't see the weight. And since they obligate you to use their baskets they discount 5 to 10 lbs from the end results.
I've tried coming here 5 different times!! Because of work and we're I live I can't get to recycling center till 430, and Everytime this place is closed! At 430, 445, 345,4 and 435 today!! It's frustrating and makes me very upset cause it's costing me time and gas money which is sky high right now ! There web site and posted on there building says they close at 5 pm!!!! I've ran across this at several different other places they say they only take people till certain time so that employees can leave on time or at 5pm!! If you run a business your doors are suppose to be open till the posted closing time!!! Im so sick of this practice
I have come here a couple times without any issues. However, today I arrived at 9:35, well after the listed open time to find the place shut. The whiteboard out front and hours on the place showing it should have opened at 9:00. As one of the places who has Sunday hours, I drove a good bit to come drop off recycling. Always possible there was a last minute emergency, but frustrating none the less.
I absolutely love coming here. Prices always fair but more importantly , the customer service is exceptional! They remembered my name after only a few visits and continuously make me feel like family every visit! Thankyou and keep up the good work
Third time this place has done this to me. They said, not only on the phone but, to my face they stay open till 3 on Sundays. Information by 210 -220 they will not let you recycle. Just be honest about the hours guys...
If they run out of funds they close. The hours say 5pm but everyday they won’t help you after430 so they can get home BEFORE CLOSING TIME just post your close time at 4:30!
Will definitely be back! Super fast and easy process. The guy who helped us showed us what to do as first timers and took all of 5 minutes.
Place is clean and tidy. I took my hubby with this time cause you know Lancaster can be a tad dodgy lol but the location is great and I felt safe enough that I would go alone next time.
My Husband and I go there quite often, it is very convenient, and the people who are there, are very polite, and helpful, and the area is always clean, and accessible. I won’t go anywhere else.
They are very nice, family owned, clean and very quick to help, I’m always in-and-out of there really quick, kind of hidden away so look for the 2 flags on left or you’ll miss
I went there 2weeks ago got 14dollars today I know for sure I had way more than last time and I had glass I came out with 10 dollars and know eye contact whomever the Hispanic guy that is working today watch out for him he a burgundy long sleeve 7/18 /23
Best place in a.v. very honest man he pays you right,for the same bag of cans I take anywhere eles I get less money ..this is the place to go hands down ..
This place has excellent customer service! Victor Benites and his family helped me unload a truck load. It was a very nice gesture. I was in and out in no time. Plus, I got paid in cash which was super convenient as appose to getting a voucher like some other places. I highly recommend this place!
Everytime I go the person there is always polite. Never have had an issue and has answered my recycling questions. Depends on what days you go and what time there could be a line. I have been during no line and rush days but hey it is the recycling center. Been going here since it opened. Always hard working people there. Keep up the good work.
