Super easy to drop metal for recycling I had some scrap steel pipe from my back yard. They didn't pay me for it but I was happy to drop it off rather than have to dispose of it separately. Rolled up, someone helped me and all done in 5 minutes They are closed between 11-11:45 for lunch

First of all, do not confuse it with Unicorn Metals Sales which is located at 490 E Lambert Rd, La Habra, CA 90631. This place is for recycling. It's clean and the staffs are friendly. 11:00 - 11:45 is the lunch break for them. I've paid the average rate for my Aluminum Extrusions. For the business, you'll be paid the same day. For personal, it will take a couple of days to be paid. No cans nor pet bottles are accepted. I highly recommend this place.

I've been going here since the early 90's an now they don't cans or plastic.. Sad .

Don’t buy metal here these guys are thieves yesterday I walked in there and asked for some prices on some square tubing and they were too high of a price so I started shopping around in East LA and I found out that their prices are 60% more than what the material costs I called the guy this morning and he said all their old prices if they were old prices aren’t they supposed to be cheaper he didn’t know what you answer me also their fabrication guy he tries to rush people to get out of there if a square tubing is $90 A 3 x 3 x 24‘ there would be $180 for a 20 footer 18 thickness are there thieves or what how are the drive 5 miles to save myself $110If you like to throw money away go there I don’t

They Dont take cans ,they don't pay same day unless your a business, they are rude, I gave one star for being clean and because I had to.

No longer recycle bottles cans or glass bottles

They helped me with a old refrigerator that got dumped by my house! I didn’t make money but awesome for them to take it and recycle it !

Horrible decision for them to stop taking CRV cans etc. if they wanted to clean up they should of stop taking the cans from people with bikes/ shopping carts. Bad call unicorn

So nice to have a place to deal with Contractors and no more Chaos by the cans and bottle people. I think the owner made a wise decision. The place is much cleaner now. Good job Unicorn Metals

Bummed to find out that this location no longer accepted aluminum, plastic or glass for residents, only commercial oriented. This policy went into effect June 1, 2020.

They no longer recycle CRV.

I've been taking my scrap here for years, copper ,brass, and stainless. Seems like I get a fair market price and the girl at the check out window is really nice.

Do not come to this location!! I called ahead of time and asked about prices. I rented a U-Haul, loaded it with 1,000 pounds of scrap, traveled 10 miles and came to make some cash. Upon arrival the manager and a cashier told me that I could drop the scrap for free. They claim that that would only pay if you bring in one ton!! I have seen many scams in my life, but not one as terrible as this place. Cheaters, big time. Stay away!!!

Super clean and organized. Quick and easy service. High pricing. They take everything metal including patio furniture, cans/bottles, etc.. and they do take scrapped steel. Highly recommend.

Best recycling center ever! Drive in with my moms cans/ plastic to recycle and they are super helpful. Grab my ticket turn it in to the cashier and all done. Very quick and it’s the neatest recycling center ever.

The owner is not nice and very arrogant . His guys are very nice but owner is probably high stressed or been doing it too long. I go elsewhere now.

The guys there have always gone out of their way to help me obtain what ever i needed at the best possible price! Consistently! I recommend them all the time and will continue to bring them my buisness even though ive moved out of the area.

My favorite place to dig for stuff to make stuff.

Honest employees that help you with sorting your scrap as they at least try to explain what differentiates each category. Much more helpful than any of the other places who are rude ,refusing to answer any questions, acting like they are short-changing you. I showed up at 4:30 pm on the dot , thinking I had til 5 o'clock, the gate was shut but the guys running the yard let me in, no problem. Unicorn pays the most I've seen for scrap metal within a 10 mile radius of their location. Their employees are also a cut above the rest.
