I came here based on the positive Google reviews. My "service engine soon" light came on. Jaime plugged in his computer and he told me that the fuel level sensors were bad. He wasn't sure which one, so he recommended that I replace both of them. He charged me $110 to diagnose the problem. I asked if that diagnostic fee goes towards the repair and he said no. I didn't want to go somewhere else for a second opinion because I would lose that money, so I decided to go ahead with the repair. He charged me $500.24 for the fuel sensor parts. I later looked up the parts online, and they were $143 each. I called Jaime and I asked him about the fees he charged. He told me that he marks up his parts 30%. However, he actually marked them up 59%. Usually, industry workers get parts at a discount, so I don't really understand him marking them up 59% over what consumers pay. Then he said that he is in business for profit. I told him that I thought the repair was too expensive. He said he might have been able to get the parts cheaper from another place, but it would've taken longer. I told him why he didn't give me that option, but he said he thought that I needed my car right away. I told him I had another car I could drive and I would've liked the cheaper option. He just shrugged it off and said it isn't his job to ask me when I needed my car. I feel like it sorta is. I would have given one star but he did re-calibrate my TPMS sensors without charging me. Which makes sense why he did that, though, since he overcharged me for the fuel sensors. I was hoping to find a local mechanic that I could trust that does good work for fair prices, but this did not happen. I will not be returning here.

I came in with a broken AC on a genesis coupe, and they diagnosed and replaced the compressor and had it working in a very short amount of time. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend

Jamie, the owner, has been at this location for 5 years. I have followed him from his prior business that was located in Buena Park. He has solely worked on my vehicle and has been the most honest mechanic. I have been blessed to have been referred to him years ago. Everything Jamie works on or has to change, he shows me each piece that needs replacing as well as explaining if I don't. His work is fast and efficient, and he is very communicative throughout the repair.

Great service. Jaime and Carlos are nice and friendly. Very honest too. Love that they show you the parts they replaced and the fluids too. Reasonable prices, they go out of their way to tell you what's going on with your car and what you can wait on to replace. We will definitely make the trek from Westminster to come back here.

Just picked up my car and I have been missing out for years. Literally the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Fixed two issues for a fraction of the price I thought they would cost, showed me the parts and what was wrong with them and not to mention was extremely friendly. this place is the best of best. they replaced water pump and connector perfectly (bmw 430i) they replaced rotor and brake pad perfectly (bmw 328 and bmw 535) they changed ignition coil and spark plug perfectly (honda crv) i will bring my family member's car soon i did have auto part business and also I'm a bimmer so i ve met and had to deal with a lot of mechanics. from my experience, most of them were trying to scam you, overcharge you, bad work, take advantage of you. but JB auto part is the only one that 'Honest, professional, quality work and good price' if you are in car/auto part industry, you know you can't trust any dealer and mechanics but they are the only one that I trust if you have a problem on your car, go to this place and they will take care of your car professionally, believe me you will never regret.

I have finally found a good, honest auto mechanic! Jaime and his brother, Carlos are fantastic! I have taken my wife's and my car there for years now and I know I will get good, quality work done on our cars at a good, better than fair price. These young men keep up to date with their certificates, are hard working, and won't cut corners, doing only what you ask them to do, or whatever may be needed. And if they find other things that need servicing, they always ask you first. Never any pressure or upselling! And they are always professional and friendly, treating you like family. I love these guys and I would highly recommend JB Auto Repair to everyone, whether your vehicle is newer or older. I would never trust my car to anyone else.

Carlos is SO amazing! I had a weird occurance where I suspected my car was leaking gasoline. He was prompt and honest when he thoroughly checked my car and couldn't find any gas leak. The diagnostic was totally fair priced, and I will be absolutely returning when it's time for maintenance/repairs. Thank you Carlos!

I came here with a check engine light and they were very patient, and told me step by step the repairs needed to fix my vehicle. They diagnosed it carefully and solved my issues! I finally passed the smog test and was able to register my vehicle. The price was fair, they did a quality job, and they didn't overcharge me. I highly reccommend them.

I typically wrench on my own cars and am very familiar with all types of repair including complicated issues. In this particular case I had problem with the AC in my Jeep that I just couldn't fix. The guys at JB Auto know their stuff. Turned out there was a clogged line in the system, which is why I struggled, and they also found a fan issue that they fixed. They had it all taken care of within a few hours and I couldn't be happier with the results. Definitely going back to these guys if/when I need their expertise again.

Those of you reading this know it's tough to find an honest mechanic. I came to JB with an AC problem and they told me that it may still be under warranty and I got it fixed for free at the KIA dealership. Other mechanics would have just tried to sell me their service but JB was really honest and was looking out for me. This is how they they are going to get me to be returning customer in the future.
