Twice I received the news regarding the incorrect part ordered for my truck repair. Was going through Geico to do the repairs. This bodyshop has done repairs on my car before but seems to be suffering from being able to competently mange their inventory or part orders. They stood out providing worse service then Geico. Do not recommend.
The crew at Crash Champions could not have been more helpful, kind and accommodating. Do not hesitate to call them if you need help fixing your car. I would definitely use them again.

I've brought my car here twice before without any issues, but this most recent experience has been and still is a nightmare!
I was in an accident and had my car brought in on September 15th. I was originally told my car would be ready by October 10th.
During that time, I received no updates on the status of my vehicle.
I wasn't concerned at first, as I understand they have other customers, I'm patient and like I said I've worked with them before.
The day before the quoted completion date, I called to confirm and was told the car would be ready. Great! The next day, I called again since no one reached out -- only to be told they were still waiting on a part and it would be another week. This was never mentioned the day prior.....I called for this exact reason ... the day before!!!!!! That was strange but again things happen so okay. I don't even mention it.
I was then given a new completion date of October 15th. Again, I had to call because I STILL wasn't receiving any updates. On the 15th, I was told my car was nowhere near ready and still needed substantial work. I was assured I would receive updates moving forward -- which still did not happen.
By October 23rd, I called yet again and was told the car would be ready October 24th after a wheel alignment. When I called to confirm pick it up on the 24th, (today)... because again, no one is reaching out to me!...... I was informed that the car was out getting an alignment and still needed calibration after and it might be ready the following day .....Saturday.
At this point, I am beyond frustrated ya know!... The lack of communication, the inconsistent information, and the repeated inaccurate completion dates have been unacceptable. To make matters worse, I am paying for my rental out-of-pocket now because of these delays.
I completely understand that repairs can take time. What I cannot understand is why I had to repeatedly chase down updates, only to be told one thing one day and something entirely different the next.
how infuriating it is to be told over and over that your car will be ready -- to finally feel like the end is in sight getting my hopes up -- only to be told last minute "never mind"? And let down again and again......It's beyond frustrating -- it's disrespectful.
I have been more than patient. But the complete lack of communication, the constant runaround, and the repeated false promises are unbelievable.
If they would have just been honest and said, "We're not sure when it will be done," I would have understood. But instead, I was misled again and again and again.
Not Once! Not twice! But three times. THREE TIMES! And even still I'm not even sure when my car will be ready!
I will never bring my car here again. And I genuinely hope anyone reading this thinks twice before trusting them with their vehicle.
I had a modest accident on the evening July 23rd. I called Mercury Insurance in the morning and they recommended I take my car to these guys for an estimate. I brought the car in the same day (July 24th). After 5 days I called to check on things because I am very unfamiliar with the process. I was told that they were a little bit behind schedule but they would get to me soon. It's been 19 days and I have not heard from them so obviously I need to go to another shop. The Mercury adjuster came up with a price of nearly $5,000 so I guess they don't like to do jobs that are less than this? Either way I feel extremely let down by them and would never recommend this business to anyone. And please spare me whatever canned apology you have, there is no excuse for this treatment.
Crash Champions is in Geico's network and the cooperation between the two is seamless. They repaired my car perfectly, including back body damage due to a hit and run while parked, and revisiting a repair to front headlight, had a hairline crack in it needing replacement. Everything covered thanks to Geico.
I had a very good experience with Crash Champions. The work was done well and my car was spotless when returned to me. They also kept me informed during the process. I didn't shop prices so I can't tell if this is the least expensive place to go but I had had a good experience with them before, so went back again. I recommend them.
Don’t waste your time here! I needed my radiator replaced and GEICO had me go here for the repair. When I dropped off the car, I was very specific and told them that they needed to replace my radiator and the radiator support beam. But when I got the quote, both of those items were nowhere to be found. When I called them about this, they said that they “didn’t see anything wrong with it.” But they instantly changed their tune when I told them that the radiator coolant was completely empty and that was THE WHOLE REASON WHY MY CAR WAS IN THEIR SHOP. Upon hearing this (which I had already relayed to the front desk woman when I dropped off my car half a week prior), they said they would have their mechanic come back and take a closer look….
So after finally getting them on board with the proper repairs, they apparently “replaced my radiator.” But clearly they didn’t do a good enough job because after 10 minutes of driving it off their lot, the SAME EXACT ERROR MESSAGE came up on my car that brought me to them in the first place. I had to turn right around and drop it back off. The issue was so bad that my car stalled on the side of the road - putting me in a very dangerous situation!!
When I got back to the shop, I opened the hood and saw that ALL OF THE RADIATOR FLUID WAS ONCE AGAIN EMPTY. Meaning that the radiator is still broken (after being in their shop for 2 weeks).
They are completely incompetent. Do not trust them.
I am satisfied with the work and the timing of the repairs. We were given the opportunity to retrieve the car two days prior to the estimated return date. The one gripe I have is that I was told that I would be contacted a few days prior on an update but did not receive a call until a few days later. When I called, I was bounced around for about a day and a half before finally getting someone on the phone. All in all, we are happy. Thank you.
I could not have been happier! I even got it back a day earlier. And they buffed out some scrapes on the other side of the car at no extra charge!! My car looked as good as the day that I picked it up 4 years ago from the dealership!!
Crash Champions Collision Repair was amazing! My car looks brand new and was completed a couple days before the estimated completion date. Hector and Karen were both very helpful and made sure I was informed about everything happening. I would highly recommend this place for your vehicle body work!
The manager Stephanie has been avoidant over three months now. They were great when insurance was ready to pay for everything, but now that she needs to answer for their lack of quality parts and craftsmanship, she and her employees all start by calling it “normal wear and tear”. Every other part of the car that has not been replaced (original parts) of the same type are in excellent condition, making their statement an excuse to NOT HONOR their warranty. After claiming that their new system lost all records of me and the parts they replaced, I emailed a document from my insurance listing all repairs/work done by Crash Champions only to have it and multiple follow up emails ignored and every call to the business claiming that she is not available and will call back. This has been repeated for over 3 weeks now.
Drop off my car for repairs late November, They rush the work to get it out before thanksgiving weekend. After driving home notice that the BSM lights were not working and also noticed that there is some kind of air noise coming from the front windshield since it was replaced. 3rd thing one of the bumper molding needed to be replaced and was just sand and painted over it. I brought my car back for the second time and they said everything was fix except the molding because they were receiving the wrong one. 3 weeks they still haven’t replaced the molding and had to take my car to get the BSM lights fix with my own money. I will be calling State Farm to make sure they get removed.
Initial review for stage 1: Dealing with a car repair due to an uninsured motorist causing a car crash. Insurance gave Crash Champions as one of my options and they are open for 4 hours on a Saturday which has been a great service in itself. The initial drop off has been great with the staff accommodating a miscommunication in the scheduled appointment time. I didn’t have to wait! Looking forward to more excellent service and will do an update.
Stage 2: Car was totaled so there was no repairs, but the staff was kind and walked me through the loss of my loved one.
Crash Champions El Segundo were very attentive when they were trying to gain our business prior to an accident repair and after 4 months have yet to complete the repairs properly. This would be our second time back on once a door they allegedly repairs did not even open and the second time the passenger window is not working.
Added: the irony of their note to contact them. After three emails and a detailed voice message, even our insurance co directed us to have the additional repair complete elsewhere. Steer clear from CC El Segundo.

Not only did they fix my car quicker than I anticipated but the customer service was fantastic, the person in charge followed up almost daily with updates on the car and it was just an easy process. I would come back here in the future for any car needs. 10/10 and I'm a picky person when it comes to this stuff.
Very professional service. They made everything convenient. They provided daily updates and the repairs were completed earlier than expected. When I picked up my car, it was immaculate! The quotes were not outrageous and they made sure everything related to the repairs was double checked and safe. Highly recommended.
I was rear-ended and usually dislike the process of going through another insurance co. and body shop, but Crash Champions exceeded my expectations. I was able to make an appointment easily, and Eli, my contact there was knowledgeable, friendly and understanding of the situation. She went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. Karen was also very efficient, friendly and super helpful.
They had arranged for a rental car and the gentleman who helped me (sorry, forgot his name) was really great and actually changed cars to a cleaner, newer one when he saw the one they were giving me- to make sure I was happy. I really appreciated that.

Very honest shop - they did a great job. They were fast, transparent and a pleasure to deal with and even completed the job ahead of schedule! The receptionists were polite and very clear with laying out expectations, payment and timeline. There were no surprises from beginning to end (other than the work finishing early). They have a great deal worked out with both Geico and Enterprise and the whole user experience felt well thought out and polished. One employee, Brandon, did an exceptional job and really went above and beyond. He gave me insight into my vehicle I was unaware of and was happy to take a moment to explain how the repair process actually works and exactly what goes into it. Really insightful and nice guy and is clearly passionate about automotive work. Very cool to see. If you need a repair in the South Bay, this is the place to go.
