Been going to Tire Central over a decade and they always do an amazing job taking care of all my car needs. The staff is friendly, professional, and truly knows what they’re doing. Customer satisfaction is their number one priority. Every visit is smooth and stress-free - they’re both effective and efficient in everything they do. It’s rare to find a place that consistently delivers great service, honest work, and transparency but Tire Central definitely does. I recommend showing up early because they are always busy although it’s worth the wait!

This is a long overdue review for Alan and his awesome team! From tire replacement, patching, and rotation, to giving the best local auto shop recommendation, Tire Central really takes care of its customers. They are honest, knowledgeable, and transparent and fair with pricing.

I had what I thought was a tire alignment issue that pulled by car to the right a bit. Read the review and took it in to Tire Central. Was called back and told that the alignment came back perfect and that the issue was probably with the power steering. The owner didn't charge me a dime although he could havef. Respect, honesty is a rare characteristic these days and I'll be coming back for any and all tire issues.

Tire Central has good prices and great service. They are my number one option for all of my tire needs.

I submitted a request on 7/9/2025 for a quote on two tires and installation. I gave the size and brand / model of the tires. I received an automatic email response promising that I would receive my quote within 24 to 48 hours. It is now 7/16/2025, one full week later, and I have yet to receive any type of communication. I even emailed the company after the 48 hour point had come and gone, and still no response. Since this company cannot reliably do as they promised and send a simple quote, I cannot trust them with something as important as my car. I feel that everyone else should be warned as well.

Central Tires San Gabriel is hands down the best tire shop around! I’ve been coming here for years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car. Alan, the owner, is an absolute gem — knowledgeable, honest, and always goes the extra mile to take care of his customers. Their prices are unbeatable, the service is top-notch, and the warranty gives me peace of mind every single time. Great service, friendly, I got there early, and their were already others there. But , they finished under 2 hours. Thankfully their is a local cafe around the corner, with inside/outdoor seating. Got 4 new tires for my Ford fiesta $543. I had called other tire shops, but they gave me the best quote. Call ahead, though, because they might need to order them. I called yesterday and was able to go in today. I would recommend to others and I would return for my tire needs as well.

WARNING! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! I went early for a tire rotation and waited for exactly 2 hrs for them to work on my car. I was waiting and waiting and then I had to ask the guy how much longer will the wait be because he initially told me the wait will be an hour or so and it's already been 2 hrs. Then he said it's actually done already, so i got my car and headed back home. I noticed the scratched up rim was still on the same spot so i called them again to ask if they really rotated it and they said yes they did. The guy explained that the rim was still on the same spot because they just flipped the tires itself and not the rim. I was still suspicious so i checked my camera footage and found out they never even touched my tires! The guy even used my car as a table and put things on top of my car while they work on another car beside mine! The guy lied to me twice just to get away with it! So i just wasted 2-3 hrs of my time just to be lied to! Never coming back to this place! Don't believe everything they tell you. Lesson learned. UPDATE: talked to a friend of mine to share my experience with TIRE CENTRAL and my friend said his experience with Tire Central was very similar to mine where they told him they fixed his car but his dashcam also showed they never touched his car at all! THIS PLACE IS TRULY A SCAM!!

This place is best place to buy new tires, priced fairly, great customer service. When my tire light appears i just bring it here and they take care of it for free, no hazzle. I haven't been here long time, overly a year... amazingly Alan still remembers my name is incredible memory, though w/thousands of customers. Very nice staff here.

Came in with a nail and needed a patch. Alan and team were able to fix it right away and free of charge. Tire pressure on all 4 were also checked to complete the job. Thank you for the good deed! Will be back for other tire needs

Stopped here by chance for a tire rotation and Mario helped me out. It’s a nice clean near tire shop. They also use a lift to raise the cars instead of a jack which I prefer. Much more stable and safe for both parties. Definitely coming back for new tires

Like one other reviewer wrote, the tires were economical and the staff was really nice at one time (a long time ago). The last two times that I bought tires from them, including this past week, the customer service and "friendliness" were all a means to end$$$. Unfortunately, one of my tires blew out last week near their shop and I had to get my car active again ASAP. I didn't want to go back, but time was of the essence. When I first arrived, no one was in the office and I walked out to check around. After asking a mechanic, he pointed out Alan who I walked near a few times while I was searching for someone. He never said anything to be helpful. Later, with my car towed onto the lot, he ended up helping a bunch of other people first even though I arrived before them and was waiting for him while he chatted up another customer for a few minutes. The worst part is that I bought more expensive tires due to a rebate offer...but it turns out that the model I purchased doesn't qualify! Every comment he made about the rebate seemed to confirm that my purchase would qualify. My optometrists in the past were way more reliable and informed by telling me what a rebate did or didn't cover. 😒 I also overheard him talking to another customer in a tone like she was some child that needed to know her boundaries. Her request wasn't unreasonable and even if they're busy, he could have been kinder. One extra star for a quick turnaround on installing the tires...or maybe that's not a good sign...? ha. 😒 I won't be going back ever again and will take the loss on the rebate because I simply don't want to engage with people who have a "whatever" attitude.

So I recommended someone to get their tires replaced by you guys. They went back to have the lug nuts rechecked/retightened after it was driven more than 50 miles and you guys gave her the bs that it was not needed because it was only tire change and not wheel change. What kind of crap is that? Your company lawyer has the lug nut retighten verbiage on the invoice/contract for a reason, whoever sent the lady away who came in for that is putting the company in major liability.

Yesterday I brought my 2010 Honda Civic to Tire Central to get new tires installed. I had purchased the tires elsewhere, but I later found out that Tire Central actually sells tires as well—so I could have saved myself the hassle! The staff was incredibly professional and efficient, and they had my tires installed quickly. They were also friendly and knowledgeable, making sure everything was done right. My car drives perfectly now. I highly recommend Tire Central for anyone needing tire services, and next time I’ll definitely be buying the tires directly from them.

This place is wonderful. Another shop (All Car) botched my alignment, and these guys actually called over and made them pay for the repair, so it didn't cost me anything. Above and beyond!

Thank you Tire Central for patching my tire. I came in because my tire pressure was below 20 on one tire and they quickly took my car patched it all free of charge. I am forever grateful and will return to buy new tires when needed. They used to be off Pine a few years ago when I bought a tire, the new location is nice and they have super strong AC and nice waiting area :)

Great guys, great service and definitely very helpful. Came in to get some new rims installed, and my tires swapped over to them. The price was great. I ended up getting a wobble at highway speeds but it turned out that one of the wheels had fix a flat in it. The original tire used to be on the rear so it wasn't noticeable, but was switched to the front during the install, which made the issue peak its head in. Took it back to them and they identified the issue quickly and got me back on the road for no additional charge. Would def come back again - in fact, I'll be purchasing some new tires from them next month.

I come here with assurance that I'm in good hands when it's comes to tires, alignment, and anything wheel related. No complaints and it's been more than a decade. Their knowledgeable staff do their best to get you in and out promptly. With all these constructions and streets with deferred maintenance, I really wish my visits are seldom.

It was busy when I came in for a tire repair. But they were able to patch my tire within an hour and when I went back an hour and a half later to pick up my car, all the other customers were gone, so I assume they finished with all those tire needs. Service is great! Prices are reasonable (I've gotten tires from here in the past). This is my go-to tire shop!

Hands down the best tire shop in Southern California. I've been going here since 2014 with wheels that always need attention to detail when having tires mounted and balanced. Consistent and competitive prices through the years. I'm in the San Fernando Valley, but will make the drive knowing the kind of work they put in. Thanks Alan!

Walked in without appointment for diagnosis of vibrations at highway speeds. They performed front wheel balance. Two hours later I'm back on the freeway but the vibrations are still there. They said the balance was a few ounces off but they weren't sure if that was the cause of the vibrations.
