Not fit for Simi trucks. Hard to pull in and out of, and they have to weigh the truck in two parts because the scale is too small, but if you don't have a semi truck it's a great place to take your metal.
Tried calling the number advertised. There were only 2 extensions to choose from and both go strait to voice mail. I would've left a message, but "their mailbox is full and cannot recieve messages at this time"
I've done business with a lot of scrap yards over the years and there's a noticeably different feel to the atmosphere at this one, and the entire staff is really happy and eager to help, in any way. The business traffic in and out of this place is mind blowingly busy at any time of day and they handle it with rapidity while maintaining excellent service, they dont give off that vibe that the person at the end of the line is the most important, making you feel like an inconvenience of burden. If you're in need of any secondary items that they may have on the yard, they're willing to dig around for that item and sell it for much less than elsewhere. Love this place, definitely elevating the industry standard. Oh yea, and they're open 7 days a week and NEVER close earlier than their hours state. bonus!

They have a line that moves very fast. I've never spent more than 5 to 8 min. You do need an ID, besides that they are very good with you. They don't mind if you come in and park and clean up your metal like scrape a lil paint off or skin a few wires you might of missed. Please just don't abuse there kindness ( like spend over 30 min. Cleaning ) easy to find and easy access. Oh you don't need to wait in the auto line that's for large loads like a pick up full.
I love that they're open at 6:30! And I love that they give you a piece of candy with your money! If you take the Blue Line,get off at the Washington Station and it's only a hop,skip & a jump away!
Came here to recycle my dads coppers and brass from his plumbing work. Cool place. Make sure you separate everything in order to get the max amount of money.
No matter how long the Line is you will be out of there quickly, so be patient. Also everyone is so helpful and make you feel special!! I love going there!
It was a wonderful experience the staff was very helpful and they don't mind working with you when you don't know what to do I really appreciate the service and appreciate the help phenomenal business thank you CNN you did great fire from the receptionist the staff it was fabulous didn't know recycling could be so fun. I will definitely be returning to this recycling center and I would like to thank the staff.
Outstanding service and pricing. Todd and the workers are very helpful. I called in about their pricing , before going there. Upon departure , there was a slight miscommunication of the pricing that I was given.( No one's fault! Just providing my experience) Todd was excellent in adjusting the pricing, his demeanor and service is above and beyond. He explained in better details of how pricing goes, gave me a great price. It was more than just a business transaction, the feeling of true Family values is expressed by Todd and the workers that I spoke with. The worst, unprofessional & unethical. This company run by thieves should not be operating. Don't waste your time! I've been recycling with my mother for 10+ years, as our only source of income at some point I know how to read my receipts and have knowledge of what I'm recycling. Two months ago I sent out my most reliable friends to recycle containers (mostly copper and some brass/aluminum) that I had stored in my garage. This amount was roughly to be paid at about 200 but they only received $33.54! I had to travel for my sisters funeral therefore I wasn't able to bring these things in personally, otherwise I would have not left the site knowing the type of operation being played here. My friends are not experienced in recycling so they got taken advantage of greatly. I called to resolve the situation, left multiple voicemails with no reply. I have my receipt in hand and will never refer anyone I work with here.. scammers taking advantage of people in their worst times!
They locked me out on Sunday with 20 minutes till closing after I pushed a 800 lb.. cart for 5 miles after tweaking all night stealing copper. They really killed my high . Cockblockers!!!!
I love this place. Not only is the environment safe, the employees are helpful yet easy to get along with. The best part is that you can scrap your metals and recycle your cans and bottles.
Not only was i late by a couple mins but i was not fully prepared . It being sunday and the guys eager to get on home to there families , they still allowed me to come in and peddle my wee bit of metal. Im not saying they would do this for everyone but to the guy who left the review claiming racism well im white and i sure as f#%k would bet the farm nobody else was and i was treated with the utmost respect and can not thank C&M enough for it . Been awhile since i felt 100% comfortable and not on guard in similar environments . Much obliged C&M
Over the coarse of a week, I visited C and M three times. Each person I worked with knew what they were doing and ready to help me get my job done. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, Todd, who was gracious and was ok with the fact I didn’t know what to do. I think they were fair in their pricing. I drove a long way to get to their yard and it was worth the trip.
12cents a pound for my aluminum bike frame. They seem to have the la Raza racist mindset where if your white and theres no witness they can act terribly. Not worth the time. Just terrible folks in LA.
I've been coming here for years. They consistently pay the fairest prices on all materials and customer service is the best in the industry. Coolest ladies in the scrap bizz!
Easy money. Drive up to the scale or wait for the truck on the scale to move. Get off go to the window and get a paper and back your truck up to drop off your metal. I dropped off 3 times. The second time it was a guy. I took a little less then my picture and got 28 dollars. The first and third time I got more from a lady doing the scale. 60 dollars for the truck load. The guy was probably being shady.
Horrible service!!! I scheduled a meeting to get a qoute and no one showed so I called the company and the guy told me he was stuck in a meeting and he will be there in 20 minutes. After a hour went by I called a few times no one picked up and they just kept ignoring my calls. In the end no one showed up!! They totally wasted my time and everyone I've spoken at this company is rude. This company should be shut down!!!
I've been going C&M Metals for a few years now and it still is the best place to go to scrap your metal. Not only is the price for your metal great, they also have friendly staff members and quick service. I've tried other places but none of them beat C&M.
I've been coming here for about a year now. Great customer service and great prices. I recommend this place to anyone who is new to the recycling business. They are pretty good at breaking things down and explaining the process if you are not familiar. Location is right off the 10 freeway so very convenient.
This Family owned business has been around for years for good reasons. Although there is a bit a traffic, they've expanded their parking area to accommodate more people which makes it easier to get in and out. Great customer service and I always get a fair price for my scrap.
I USED to go through out California bringing scrap metals of all varieties to different scrap yards but after going to this place and seeing how the owners auctually take the time to help you out with any concerns you have on pricing or anything else for that matter! This is why they are able to pay top dollar for everything because they always get the customers coming back. They are my number one choice without a doubt.
