I've been coming here many times but it seems the service is getting from bad to worse, they "open" at 7:00 am, but 'Efrain' takes his sweet time to start his day, he starts opening the metal curtains, I say good morning and he responds nothing, after he goes and talks to some ppl and starts setting up, the actual service starts at 7:20, all of this in a "I'm-just-here-for-the-money" kind of attitude. Just a heads up so you know what to expect.
The girls that are too rude the ones in the scale and plus they be trying to get everybody's number not professional and it looks like the workers date each other cuz they be feeling on each other no good business
Plant manager is unprofessional and straight up racist !!! Enequiel Buenrostro called me an N word and refused to help me due to my skin color !!! This was the most horrific experience I’ve had in awhile
Today I talked to a lady named Maria hoping to take my cars there to scrap.
I asked for information about how their process works and she put me on hold to talk to their service team. Nothing out of the ordinary. However, as soon as she came back she immediately yelled at me over the phone about what the process is like and that's that.
She proceeded to hang up on me after that and after calling again to ask for her supervisor she abruptly hung up AGAIN. Twice in a row.
If you want to go to a recycling service with great customer support DO NOT COME HERE.
They won't help you answer your questions and I guarantee they wouldn't treat you well. There's a lot of other great locations to scrap your car and this place isn't it.
AWFUL customer service. I spoke to Maria and she had the worst attitude and HUNG UP ON US before even finishing the conversation. I called back to speak to a supervisor but she stated that the supervisor was not in. I explained my experience and how it was very poor customer service on her end and she HUNG UP AGAIN. Just plain rude and disappointing. The supervisor needs to have a talk with this employee of theirs.
As soon as we got there no to much waiting the workers with the blue hard hats friendly and helpful. Cashier area wow very friendly, smiling good vibe. Will definitely come back great overall customer service First time
Would really like to know why they started making so much noise at 4 am. Disturbing all the residents in surrounding areas. Maybe I'm confused, but shouldn't they begin operating loud machinery at 7 am on weekdays?
They answered the phone when I called (unlike the Anaheim location) and they make the car retirement process smooth and easy.
They walked us through every step of the way. The location wasn't super busy, there wasn't a long line of people, just one other person besides me. One of the employees there guided us to the scale and told us what to do. Everyone was very helpful and we got our check then and there.

I thought it was going to be in a rough neighborhood but it's all industrial. The process was quick and easy. Ubers address doesn't match the entrance.
It was fast, but you need to know what you are doing. If you are selling your vehicle in the BAR program, you first need to drive it to the "accepting" place, give them your approved letter, then drive the vehicle to their assign parking place. Then walk back to the same office but on the other side. Make sure they know you are there. They'll give you the approved paper. Take and bring it to the step 3 BAR and get your cheque.
Expect to wait 7-15 minutes when coming hopefully you bring some snacks. Marisela always talking with her coworkers you can hear them talk while you wait for your ticket the price for metal is okay they have 4 scales but only 2 of them work
The staff here is rude and unprofessional. My friend wanted to recycle his car. He brought all documents with him, especially for the official document about the case that his name was changed before. When we showed the title and the documents to the staff, he refused to accept it and insisted that we must get a new title under my friend’s new name. Because of the staff’s arrogance, we had to go to another place. And guest what, the other company accepted our documents and helped us to settle down. And his car was recycled smoothly. I don’t recommend this place at all.
They are very cordial professional and down-to-earth and i am grateful for the service is done there and they're very fair and I am grateful that I can do business with them and they take great care of me.
There's a gentleman that operates heavy equipment there I think should be immediately Advanced to head manager. Daniel's the name.... also most congenial Latias ....lady that works quite often the scale....
Dropped of 2 aluminum shipping containers weighing about 3,500 lbs each. We were not aware that aluminum scrap prices were so high they offered us 275.00 for both and we accepted not knowing any better thinking SA recycling is such a large business with locations everywhere they cant afford to rip people off....WRONG!!!!
A week later we took another 2 aluminum containers to SA recycling in Anaheim and they paid us $842.00 for both. Don't go to the smaller SA recycling locations stick with the larger ones like in Anaheim where they are so big they don't have time to rip anyone off. I do not know if each SA recycling is independently owned or not but just don't go to this one!!!!!
Don't believe the good reviews for this place. If you look closely ERICA SMITH is a fraudulent review go click and look at the only two places shes reviewed.
LESSON LEARNED STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!
First off, when you finish weighing at the scale you have to either go left or right depending on what your there to recycle. Go right, you will meet the top notch SA employee Juan. Juan really helped me out since I am a new driver and am learning my ways around...
So, SA is the Godfather of all recycling. Their staff are really professional and always have smiles which to me reflects their level of happiness from their work.

Unnecessary ATTITUDE! The first person I talk to was extremely RUDE. My first time there, not sure where to go and instead of being helpful I got Jessica. Never again would I go here or recommend it to anyone!
