I mean, you're not typically going to have a *good* experience with a towing service. The whole "towing your vehicle to our yard and then charge you for storing it" racket amounts to legalized extortion. I had the unfortunate experience of getting into an accident, and this is where my vehicle was towed.
Having said that, this place wasn't great. Charged a "convenience fee" and an "administrative fee" among other completely made-up fees, and changed the price multiple times through this creative fee-stacking. One always comes away feeling terrible after dealing with tow-yards... What can you do?
I just want to give Pepe’s towing a 5 star review for there great customer service and response time and most importantly to both of their drivers/operators “Jose” driver of rotator and I think “Cordova” driver of flatbed. A few weeks ago we used them and from the dispatch to getting their crew out to the site they were prompt and fast and most importantly very professional with great hospitality. They took very good care of the vehicle they helped us recover and treated the piece of equipment like if it was still new with care despite it being damaged. It’s always negative feedback people leave but this is an occasion for positive feedback and I hope they let these two employees know they are doing a great job and most importantly doing an outstanding job representing Pepe’s towing. Great job guys keep it up.
Joshuah came to help me with the pensky rental truck. This guy is like next to Jesus in goodness, kindness, efficience and profesionalism. He made me feel really good and l can only pray that God may bless him really good. It is hard to believe that there are still people who work with so much integrity and kindness. This man is beyond good.
Show me the cross country to visit Pepe's Towing cuz my friend is a very big Towing enthusiast. Met Josh there who showed us the trucks and talk with my friends and took pictures had a great time for the few minutes to spare with us like to give a shout out to him and his crew. Keep up the good work
I have done business with Pepe’s on the B2b side of things. They are real professionals and keep their equipment in tip top shape which says a lot about a transportation business.
Horrible experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Sent payment link, as I'm filling it out, within 10 send me updated link for over $150 MORE than original as "it took me too long" to fill out. Scammers. Shame on their disgusting business practices.
I have many of their videos. It appears that they truly care about the customer and customers equipment. Also very courteous to all. Great guys doing quality job.
I needed to transport my classic car across the state, and I couldn't have asked for a better towing service. The team arrived on time, and the care they took in securing my vehicle was impressive. They handled the long-distance tow with precision, and my car arrived without a scratch. The quality of their service and the price I paid was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again and recommend them to anyone in need of long-distance towing.

We had to offload a 40 foot shipping container in an emergency and he dropped what he was doing and got to us within an hour when he thought it would take 90 min.
His driver was very professional and experienced in offloading containers and did the whole job in 20 mins. They really came thru for us and did the job for a fair rate!
I will use them again as we will have other containers coming in every few months.
One of their drivers almost ran me and my family off the road, their young and inexperienced driver pined us against the sidewalk. Instead of trying to figure out how to get out of the situation, Mr. Carlos the driver decided to exit his tow truck and attempt to fight. I feel bad for the guy, needs to grow up.
Very good people and the owner are very professional person from the way he talk i can tell he's good business man and for all hater and people cry for little small things google their name in YouTube and watch their work before you comment any negative reviews if you crying cause road closed for 1-2 hours cause they clean it from accident its better then be close FOREVER I own two company in NEW YORK i would love to talk with owner to learn and get more experience from him ..KEEP IT UP GUYS 5 STARS
I am writing you this review to inform you of a wonderful experience I had. On 11/19/2021 I left Sacramento and headed south on my way to Knott's Berry Farm. 20 miles from my destination my car became undrivable. I later found out that the new brakes I had gotten put on 2 weeks earlier had lost a bolt and the caliper housing jammed up my front tires. But nevertheless I was stranded. I called two other towing service but no luck. I guess what they say is true, third time is a charm. At my wits end and kind of stressing out I finally reached out to Pepe's towing. I was somewhere downtown Vernon with my friend alone at night. Luckily Jacob Hernandez answered the phone. He was kind and helpful. He help to put us at ease. We were informed that someone would be there within 45 mins to help us. 20 mins later Jacob shows up with bells and whistles on. He was very professional and definitely knowledgeable in his line of work. We were hooked up and ready to go in 10 mins. The inside of his truck was very clean and before we got in he adjusted the seats to make sure we were comfortable. He even tailored the music selection with us in mind. He got us safely to our destination with no hiccups and safely unloaded my car perfectly into the designated parking spot. I was already stressing about what the next day was going to look like, trying to figure out which mechanic shop I would have to have my car tow to. Jacob reassured me that I could call him and he would help me figure something out if needed. I would recommend Jacob to all of my friends and family and anyone in that area who needed a reliable towing service with exceptional customer service and a professional sense of urgency. Pepe's crew helped me when I was in an extreme bind on a job that went south and needed a lift ASAP. They were able to accommodate what I needed surrounding other jobs they had going. I really appreciated the help. Highly recommend

What can you say when you have a unique situation that every other towing service turned down? Pepe's to the rescue! Like a bunch of Angel's from Heaven my boat trailer lost a wheel on the 605. My insurance Company told me Noone else wanted the job because it required specialized towing equipment. Firstly, the owner sends an assessor to assess the situation and take measurements. I end up going back to the shop where the owner, realizing I am tired and hungry feeds me an excellent hot sandwich and a coke my favorite. Then he laid out the game plan and within an hour we were lifting my boat and trailer with their magnificent state of the art equipment onto a flatbed semi. Got her home safe and unscathed. I truly feel indebt to Pepe's staff. I love you guys.
Very poor service. I was over charged almost $300 and my property was left damaged. When I tried to call him, he had no response. I asked him for their business license number and they did not provide it. I was charged a total of $525, when I was quoted a total of $300. I had provided them with the pick up and drop off location, which was a distance of 4 miles. When I tried to contact him again for the charge, he hung up the phone.
My son's Chevrolet Camaro car was towed from the highway when it broke down. Once we found out that Pepe's Towing had possession of his car, we were concerned about what sorts of fees will be added. We all hear the horror stories of towing companies and how much it is a wrecking business to take as much money as they can from individuals. I am not happy that I had to pay $321 (lol, which no one would be), but it is what it is. Then I spoke with Melissa and got a real bad feeling about everything; however, it was just a misunderstanding about the situation. If I have to pay the $321, it doesn't hurt so bad if the customer service is excellent. And not to mention that I was handling this from Florida. As an Army veteran, I have been around the world and have seen many unprofessional towing coming, but Pepe's Towing Service receives a 5 star. Thanks again, Melissa, for being so kind to my son and myself.
Broke down on the 110 n they got me out quickly and for a fair price. Great and polite dispatch and really helpful and friendly driver. Two other tow truck companies tried getting me out and failed.
My truck was told which they tried to call it a recovery so they didn't have to pay for the damages their Tire lift went through my engine but they blamed it on DWP saying that the guy stepped on the gas then they said they're not taking responsibility in a phone conversation there was three different statements but the son sent me an email stating that it's going to the insurance company the father Jose Acosta decided that he was going to tell me that I owe him $2,000 because he had to recover the vehicle the vehicle was running the police department saw it as well but told me my truck was not worth nothing and I'm not getting anything and that he's denying don't ever do business with Pepes Towing because they may wreck your car and then tell you that it's your fault everybody else's fault but there's I have talked to several people that have had Towing from Pepes and they have said the same thing they'll say it's a recovery because it hit something but the gentleman have the story not proper said that the truck was in a house that hadn't happened it had not six bricks out they just were concerned DWP in the police department wanted it winched out because they thought that would be the safest for everyone however the gentleman back into the engine with the tire lift they don't want to take responsibility and they're going to put a lien on my truck telling me I have storage but haven't returned to call however the sun sends me an email at 3:15 a.m. in the morning telling me that it's going to the insurance company never did I disrespect this gentleman but he was very negative and almost in a threatening manner don't do business with Pepes if you don't want your car jacked up or at least not deal with mr. Acosta Jose Acosta I don't know who he is probably a nice family man but when it comes to business I wouldn't do business with him at all bless their company God bless everything that they do but that's not an acceptable behavior not in business don't do business with him if you don't want to get jacked up. Oh Bertha is very professional and compassionate though.
I can not express how grateful we are to Pepes Towing. Specifically this one on Boyle Street. Joe and Vicente literally saved our family vacation. We are from North West Washington state. Our motorhome broke down in LA. We had our 4 children with us stuck in an unfamiliar town. We could not find anyone to help us. Finally, we got a hold of Joe at Pepe's. He and his crew were willing to do anything to help us get back on the road. They even drove us to our hotel and found a place that was willing to work on ourRV. The next day they towed our RV to the Auto shop. I just can't say enough kind things about Joe and Vicente. I don't know what we would have done without them. Thank you so so much!!!
