Came in looking for snow socks Angel didn't know what I was talking about but before looking in the computer told me the location didn't have them. I was like well seems to me like you do know what those are so how do you know for sure your location doesn't have them. Then Angel sarcastically says we don't have snow plows snow blowers or what ever we don't have it. I called 3 different location and they all said the location had them in stock. Even if the location didn't have them in stock Angels sarcasm has me never wanting to come back to this location EVER AGAIN if this is the treatment I get as a long time customer!! Shame on you Auto Zone and you too Mr. Angel! Wish Google had a no stars rating

Assistant Manager John S was very helpful and answered all my questions and helped replace the car battery with a smiley face. Thank you John. I always come to this store and strongly recommend this store for all your car care needs.

I went in around 11am and there were only 2 people working. I believe one was the store Manager and the other a young man. They were both working hard and seemed to be very knowledgeable. They were polite and knowledgeable and did their best to meet every customers needs. I would recommend stopping by the store for any of your automotive needs. I will definitely shop at this location again.

Me and my friend went to this auto zone to get paint for her car because she scratched it, we got amazing customer service by these guys named John & Jose, everyone in the store is friendly and attentive. We will be coming back if we have another problem !

I had a product I wanted to return, but couldn't find the receipt. It was a starter for my son’s car. When we went to return it we were shocked to learn that the starter was NOT an AutoZone product, or even sold by them!! My 2 sons were going to try to install the starter, but could not remove the bolt on the core so they ended up putting it back in the box. The starter was never installed, and we found out that the problem was ACTUALLY the alternator!!! Initially, we were told that they couldn’t give me a refund because 1) it wasn’t their product and 2) I was over the 30-day return limit. I understood the 30-day return policy, but what upset me was that we were sold a product that wasn’t Auto Zone's! The manager, Jason came out to talk with me and explained that, unfortunately, people will “swap out” products and return them. So when I bought the starter I was unlucky and got one of these “swapped” products. I am so extremely grateful for Jason making the exception to accept my return despite being a little past the 30 days AND Auto Zone now having to eat the cost of the starter. It is really unfair that they have to do that because of other people’s actions!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! ?

Great experience from being greeted when walking in, given many options for a car battery, free installation, friendly staff. Provided with extra tips for my car free of charge. Saw them install my battery with precision. Before and after pics attached. Thanks

Never had a help that wasnt rushed all irritated. Jason was very helpful and was able to answer any of my questions because of curiosity. ? definitely a recommendation place to go to they go above and beyond.

Store manager Jason, was AWESOME. He took the time to replace my battery even though it was late, some staff members had left for the night. Cold and rainy, but still the top-of-the line service. Truly appreciate Jason's service. Big THANK YOU!!!

Rude employees, dirty story and always OUT OF STOCK! Do not waste your time going there to get help with replacing your car battery. The employees and managers are all lazy. Go somewhere else for better customer service and auto parts!!

I came in for a battery in Herman. He was the nicest guy I met. It’s very hard to find people like him. I was so happy that I was able to exchange my battery with no problems since my battery was still had a warranty on it. they came out. They help me install it. They double checked it. It was just like going completely out of the way to help me out. I recommend this AutoZone great people even the store manager there. He was helping me out too.

Super organized store and friendly staff. They always have what I need. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name that helped me out today, (he was a Latino man around 20’s-30’s with dark hair) but he provided exceptional customer service and I was in and out within 10 minutes.

It's the first time I do a qualification but I feel obliged to do it with a person who also works in customer service, my experience was good at the beginning with one of the workers but at the time the worker asked someone called c I assume it's in manager because he had the gray shirt or the supervisor but the moment I asked him about making a refund with online receipt he told me very angry that if I had bought them online I had to return them online when clearly Says to the App that you show the barcode for any return in any AutoZone store instead of being kind and looking for a solution as a high-ranking person decided to look for a pretext however he went to the other store 13102 San Pablo Ave Richmond, CA 94805 United States and I treated people very well from the worker to the manager so my complaint is not to the workers but to the person in charge of giving bad customer service instead of looking for a solution preferred to speak badly and give a bad service to the customer

Please make sure that you call to verify that they have the part first and even then, they still may not have them. My biggest issue with their service today is that I was already running behind (not their concern) but upon looking at my receipt, the cashier Jay added an additional charge to my purchase that I did not authorize causing me to have to turn around wait for him to finish with the customer he was working with. PLEAS BEWARE that they are fraudulently charging customers for things that they did not purchase. Make sure to double check your receipt.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Walked in to get a battery tested. They said their tester doesn't work so they couldn't check. So I asked if they can charg the battery. They said yes, it should take 1 hour to 90 minutes. Came back 2 hours later to pick up the battery. Another person said that they shouldn't have taken my battery because the charger doesn't work either. What are the odds that both the tester and charger doesn't work in a single store and wouldn't they sell a battery tester that they can take off the shelf to be used? Thank you wasting 2-3 hours out of my day and making me go to another store.

What happened to Sylvia the store manager? Every time I go in to shop , she’s not there. She had this store up and running for years! This store is not the same without her. Experience is different. She always took care of us customers. Made you feel like part of the family. I tried to get assistance at the stores surrounding and they are terrible. Get Sylvia back!

This store is amazing. I had to jump my battery that I bought last year, and went into the store to buy a new one. Jose at the counter informed me (after I bought the new one and brought the old in) that the battery I had was still in warranty and qualified for a free swap out. THAT is customer service. He could have just as easily been happy making a sale but he went the extra mile. I have NEVER had an issue at this store, every time I go there, it has been a great experience. Even when the lines are long they reassure customers they will be with them ASAP. Even if you're not in San Pablo, go to this store. The customer experience is worth the travel as they are one of the few stores who still care. Thank you Jose and Alvaro!

Manager Jason G is such a sweetheart. He was so patient and helpful with helping my Dad find the appropriate battery for his Nissan. He was honest and gave his expertise when recommending. He also assisted him with installing the new battery. I highly recommend this store location. I observed other staff assisting clients with testing their batteries and processing warranty claims. Very professional, mannered, warm and friendly. Jason G addressed all of our concerns. This is the second time he has helped me. The first time he helped me with a burned out headlight so I wouldn't be cited with a fixing ticket.

Yesterday I came to buy some parts for my vehicle and I was assisted by two employees Delmus and Rodolfo and both employees were great. Silvia the store manager has done a great job gathering such a great team. I have gone to other locations and the service is always not pleasant. By far this has always been the store to go to. The help is always genuine and the staff is always eager to help. Great job to the store manager, she's always in the front making sure everything is running smooth. The community appreciates her!

Sonia was exceptional helpful and sincere. I love going to this store as the staff are friendly, carrng and helpful. My experience started with Sylvia the store manager when I ordered some parts for my sons BMW. She handled the order professionally and quickly. And also did a prompt follow up when the parts arrived. Then yesterday, Sonia continued the legacy of exceptional customer service legacy. They are the best.

I love shopping at this location. Silvia has a great store and a great staff. Have been coming here for years and it always feels like you get treated like family. They take their time with their customers. I appreciate them all the time especially right now with this virus going around,they are remaining positive and outgoing and being super calm in the midst of the chaos. Thank you Silvia and to her team for being so great to us. Customer service is not easy, but they make it seem like its easy. if i could five them 50 stars I would! =)

The staff here are very helpful and friendly. They always have what I need, I recently needed 2 new coils and spark plugs and the manager had already ordered my additional coils so they were there before I arrived. I had to get a new battery yesterday and the guy showed me my last battery wasn't the correct size, now my car runs great
