Went to get a lug nut bolt for my car. I showed the worker there the lug nut and she said what is that and what's it used for. End up leaving then went to SP autozone did the same thing and the young lady there knew what it was and got me the right bolt I needed.

I returned 3 unopened unused windshield wipers. Maria ripped the packages open, then ask a co-worker does it look used. I remarked you just clearly opened them, then they were not used. What type of shady dishonest business practice is that, you rip open an unopened item. Then tell the patron they used it, so you can pocket the money. When I questioned her on why she was ripping the packages open. She claimed it was policy. Then she rudely threw my return receipt towards me.

Basically, I like shopping for my car needs at O'Reilly's. Their prices are a little cheaper than other car parts store. I found 1 item I was looking for. The other item I needed they didn't have, even though online it said the specific location I had went to had it. So I called another O'Reilly's close by and they had just a few of the item that I needed. So he put it on hold for me.

One star the employee was lackadaisical and couldn’t care less about miles you with my car or helping me. Even though it says right on your window, free check engine, light testing he just didn’t wanna go outside. It’s OK though if you go down just a block to AutoZone they are very helpful

This Was absolutely the worst place that I’ve ever been to the staff was very rude I bought a headlight for my Honda Sonata they gave me the wrong one then would not replace it it made me pay for a different like that was even more expensive than the one that I pay for originally I do not recommend that you go to this one I recommend that you go somewhere else

Nothing amazing here, typical O'Reillys. I wish they would do engine swaps in the parking lot for you though.

Store was open and people were still inside buying stuff but wouldn’t let me in the store to buy a part for my car. The doors were locked. I really needed this part for my car is on the side of the road and it’s raining. So much for putting the customers first. Will not be going back

I knew something was headed for disaster. When O”Reilly took over Kragen and then hit on Grand Auto Parts, there was trouble coming. This started just over two years ago when I noticed that the people working the O’Reilly stores were all under twenty years old! They knew nothing about cars or parts or anything but a computer or device that they could look something up. A cotter pin was unheard of at the O’Reilly store on Broadway in Oakland. I went elsewhere. Now, the last straw: I checked out a bottle jack on line which was listed at O’RTeilly’s and called a local store in Oakland, Ca. They did not have it so they sent me out to 14420 San Pablo Ave. in the city of San Pablo. A good 35 mile round trip. When I arrived at the store, the 20 year old employee had trouble finding the jack and when he asked around the store - they finally located it. I was handed the box and it looked suspicious from the start. It didn’t have the proper name on the box and the color was not the same as well. I opened up the box which had already been unsealed and much to my surprise the jack was used, old, dirty, badly beat up and scratched and used many, many times. The bottom of the jack was missing 90% of the paint! I couldn’t believe my eyes and all the employees looked at it in disbelief. I asked, “Didn’t anyone check to see what was inside, since the box was opened!?” Not a one! Clickty, clickty clack and the smart phone came up with nothing else! (Kids!) I told them I was going to leave a bad review. Did they care!? Not one bit. I’m done with the big box parts stores. No one at O’Reilly Auto Parts gives a squat that you won’t come back. Not until they find themselves out of a job. No more O”Reilly’s Auto Parts. I’m looking now for an old reliable parts store in Oakland where the customer is treated with respect and the parts are what they say they are.

FYI, no one at this store is wearing masks. If you want to be safe and/or have health risks or love with someone with health issues avoid this store.

Sold me the wrong valve cover. Box was labeled correct and part was nearly identical. Customized it by painting it. Unfortunately it was the wrong cover as the tube seals were too high. Had to explain to the manager why people paint valve covers. She didn't help and refused to even look up my receipt and stated she was never going to accept the part back. Bought a dealer valve cover after and had 0 issues.

I applaud the young woman that helped me first in line at the counter, though another customer still shopping jumped ahead of me. Whether yellow, red, brown, black or white, we are all of the human race and should be shown proper courtesy. THANK YOU for your integrity, young lady! You deserve a raise.

There was a lady assisting manager whom did not want to credit the oil recovery coupons which were abt $4.00 bucks, she claimed she was not going to give free products. To that the company issue those coupons for disburstment.

The manager sinthia was more interested in gossiping with another customer even though the line was 6 people long. I didn't even bother buying what i needed. I went to Autozone instead... they seem to have you in and out faster.
