Great experience. First time in and they were exceptionally helpful and transparent with what I needed and cost. I will be using them again.

I scheduled an alignment and clearly explained when booking that my truck had new suspension parts and was lowered. I was quoted $140. When I arrived, I waited about 20 minutes past my scheduled time before being helped. After dropping it off, I received a call saying they would need to charge more because it was lowered and that they don’t typically align lowered trucks. In the end, they only adjusted the toe and charged me $60 for partial work without completing a full alignment. My issue isn’t the price — I would have paid more if they had been upfront from the start. Instead, there was poor communication and no disclosure of limitations before taking the job. I ended up going to a dedicated alignment shop that completed the full alignment in 30 minutes with no problem and provided a printout of the specs. I prefer to support local businesses, but transparency and professionalism matter

First time visiting this shop here in valley springs, my truck was in severe limp mode after sitting for a long time. Outwest Auto took it in and started figuring out what was wrong with the truck . I was only without my truck for 2 days due to the weekend and the amount of technical work needed. Staff was upfront honest and very informational. I had a great conversation with a gentleman there where we shared our love for wiskey types and brands. "Thanks again". Overall, great experience. We'll definitely go back and recommend to friends and family. And just a friendly reminder to the negative reviews might wanna check yourselves, maybe it's you. Who's having a bad day? And not getting the news or the results that you're looking for it's not their fault. They're not magicians. While I was in there, a customer was really rude. And I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. Because it was not out West auto's fault. So please remember to be kind.There's a reason why you're there..

I took my vehicle in to inquire about my transmission. The staff are very helpful and polite. Clean building. Patrick checked my codes for me without asking for payment and filled me in on a bit of knowledge concerning my vehicle. Overall, I am pleased With the service that I was able to receive.

Had a fuel pump module go out on a trip down from Oregon. They found the part that GM had on backorder at dealerships and had me back on the road in 2 days. Friendly and professional, thanks for saving my trip!

Be very careful with this repair shop! I brought a car to these guys for a tune up. I had just inherited the car from my grandma who had recently passed. When they called they tried telling me that the transmission was bad and it had oil leaks. They claimed that to repair the transmission they needed to remove the entire engine and quoted me over $13,000. That day I picked the car up and brought it to the shop just down the street the second shop told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car and had been extremely well cared for. They happily did the tune up and the car runs great. IF YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE ANYWHERE ELSE YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF!!!

I brought in a 2008 F250 diesel for a smog check. The lady checking me in made sure it was smog ready before starting the process. I had bought it with a leaking PCV hose that is difficult to replace. Batteries had gotten low since it took me a while to have time to replace it. Glad she verified that the ECU still retained its memory. They were all friendly and thorough. I pretty much do my own auto work since it is a way for me to relax from hi tech and spend time in the country. However, I would bring my vehicle here if I don't have the time.

Best experience ever waiting for oil change. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The 30-45 minutes flew by while having conversations with manager/owner and both young ladies working front desk. Really felt like we all knew each other for a long time. We love Valley Springs, just because the kind of Customer Service and very welcoming feel you get here? Thanks for the Great service!

These guys are all helpful. 1st experience was good. I travel for work they were kind and seem honest. I worked across the street that day and needed a 5amp fuse and they all didnt hesitate to find me one and didnt charge me anything while they were all busy they still help fairly quickly. Thanks guys!!

EXCELLENT and very fast service when my car broke down four hours away from home— had to get a new battery and alternator but I was out the door by end of day! Cannot recommend enough, especially Jacklyn at the front desk. :)

Such terrible customer service, if any at all. They didn't have a tire in stock to replace my flat & told me it would take a couple of days for the tire to get in. I have a basic sedan so that was a real shocker. On top of them being zero help, instead of offering - the girl I inquired with laughed and suggested I put my spare on.....like i wasn't in front of a literal auto shop. Id suggest any of the other tire shops in the area, except here .

I had a last-minute urgent emergency. My only vehicle broke down and out west got my truck in right away and finish the repairs in a few hours on a Friday. I can’t thank them enough

The staff and mechanics of this establishment are very professional As well as friendly and personable I felt that the person the service manager at the front counter is very knowledgeable of what her mechanics are doing. The front desk people are kind and patient as well as friendly. I had several items done at the shop with my RV Not only do they explain the procedure, They take the time with me and my questions which I have many of. I’m so grateful for all the help they provided me during a very stressful day that I had where my little dog had to go through surgery They allowed me to have a space for him and their office and everything And they also were thoughtful to allow me to stay in the RV during a time where we were waiting for some things to dry out. I feel they also assisted me in something that could’ve been a problem during my travels had they not caught it in advance. In addition, I had an emergency where a rivet was in my car tire from somewhere else, and I went up to their store and they immediately assisted me. I’m so grateful for these guys and there’s not a lot of people out there nowadays that really care about their job and Their establishment. Thank you, Outwest Auto. I’m definitely coming back in having this place as my reliable mechanic shop And tire shop.

Recently had my car serviced and am very impressed. The technicians were very professional and prices were were fair. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I highly recommend.

My car battery died in the parking lot at 5Star Donuts this morning, across the street from this shop. So I pop the hood, and start looking at the battery to asses the issue. A few minutes later, 2 of the employees came over from across the street to help out. They were very polite, jump started my car, and I was able drive home. Thank You two gentlemen very much!! Great place, if you need work done, come here. They will treat you very kindly.

Patrick and the entire Outwest Auto crew did another stellar job on my '18 Ford F-250 emission system. Patrick jumped on making the vital move by being at the head of a long line of competitors ordering a particular back ordered sensor.5 other shops called right after his first place on the waiting list. My truck could not pass a smog check. There pre check found three bad sensors. The mechanic was able to locate the problem and make the repair. Passed the smog test. The price was reasonable. I have a business and know the cost labor and parts. I am happy with the service.

Staff were all wonderful, prompt and knowledgeable. They even provided my daughter with a courtesy car wash. I admire the thorough inspection. I was even provided a detailed report with visual. Will definitely return!

Patrick was communicative, informative, explained the process in detail and car was done when they said it would be. Good warranty, fair prices. If you’re in valley springs or surrounding area take advantage of their mailer coupons. Replaced my A/C condenser and valve on my 2016 Subaru. Also did a 27 point inspection, oil change and topped off my fluids.

We purchased a used work van for our company’s service work. After only 1 month the engine gave out. We took it to Outwest auto and they found us an advanced new motor with a 4 year warranty for a great price. Ordered and installed along with struts shocks brakes alignment and a detail in less than 2 weeks. Great communication throughout the whole process. I had a great experience at Outwest Auto getting a smog check done on my Ram 3500. The whole process was quick, easy, and hassle-free. The staff was professional, friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. I was in and out in no time, and they made the entire experience smooth from start to finish. Went for tires, which was alright but during the vehicle inspection evidently the intake tube was taken off and never tightened back in place. Glad I checked everything over myself. Fair to say I will not be going back.
