Super efficient. My first time dropping a mattress off for recycling. The lady at the entrance checked me in, gave directions. Another employee waved me in, directed to an area where I could leave the mattress on the ground. Zero dollars. In and out in 5 minutes.

If you are recycling few cardboard boxes, this place is not for you unless you are ok getting few cents . Otherwise weekdays there are not much traffic. For recycling hazardous waste please check the timing in the photo.

Brought a single small mini fridge that finally stopped working after 10 years. Was told I’d be charged $36 PLUS the $61 minimum to dispose of a fridge I paid $90 for in the first place. Feels pretty bad to be priced out of doing the right thing. I would have even paid $36 and went on with my day slightly irritated, but this is ridiculous. I guess I own this broken fridge until I can arrange for a pickup on a weekday. Absolutely worthless transfer center for responsible consumers.

Price gouging $61 dollars minimum in Manteca the minimum is $32. Welcome to the Bay Area, when my Dad stepped off the weight scale onto the step to talk to the person in the toll booth she told him to step back onto the scale for his weight to be added onto the scale. I also agree with the other post, The people who work here are very rude and unfriendly. Once I called to verify there hours, I could tell what I was gonna deal with when in person.

Always a great place to bring unwanted chemicals, batteries and other hazardous material (for FREE!). Just stay in your car, open your trunk and they will do the rest. They also take all kind of other big style garbage (mattress, furniture...etc), but you will have to pay a fee by weight for those though, and dump them yourself when you arrive at the warehouse.

The reuse area has the rudest staff . Unfriendly rude . They are there to serve the public but they are angry rude people . I honestly suggest you give counseling to your staff . I always say hi or ask questions and I am ignored . I believe because I am a white make is why I am being treated as such. I am being completely honest and I would like to lash out with a more vulgar tone, but then my posting would be omitted .

Closed by 2:30! How do you expect people to recycle batteries and bulbs if you close so early? Do we take off from work to come and recycle. They need to open in the evening or both days in the weekend.

No foul smells in the area. Facility kept very clean. Went to collect free compost a couple of times and it is done in a very orderly manner. Thank you Fremont!!

Nice facility, easy access to dump but quite pricey. $55.00 to dump a half pickup truck load and she said that is their minimum charge.

Friendly staff. Can drop off househoud hazard wastes like bulbs battery. Also good place to recycle cardboard for free or by paid if in large amount.

A $55 minimum charge is too much. They charge for a half ton even if you have a tenth of a ton. Not fair.

The whole process took just a few minutes. Just had to park the car, pop the trunk and one of person working there greeted us and took all the paint that we wanted to dispose.

Fremont recycling was great. It was not very busy. Not as expensive as the recycling service on Davis St in Oakland

I go to Fremont Recycling a lot. The employees there are fantastic. Even though the place runs like a Swiss timepiece, everyone is polite and seems happy.

Yes, the people were nice as they charged me the “minimal” charge of $54.00. Minimum is for for zero to eight hundred pounds. We came in with the supplied city green container and three thirty-two gallon containers filled with leaves and vines from backyard tree disposal. This weighed all of a hundred pounds and all “green” material. Main thing is, where else are you supposed to go? There should be a lesser charge for those living in the area, with small loads. It might be cheaper to dump on the road and pay the fine!!!

Friendly staff, very professional! I passed by here to drop of a couple of burnt bulbs & inquired about disposing a mattress with the frame. I'm really glad I did. Keep up the good work!

I frequent this location often dumping my card board boxes. Friendly staff and usually in and out pretty quickly. I have only dumped boxes so can not speak on trash or garbage deposal.

This place has been by far good and easy to do dump runs. Until yesterday, our company has an account with this facility, so they usually give us an F sticker which makes it easier to pay and faster process. I drive a new truck that the company has provided for me and the truck hadn't yet been registered to this dumps. So when I go in the scale I let the lady that attended us know that we have an account, her response was that it would take time because she had to go in her office and get the truck registered so instead she asked if I can pay with card or cash. I gave my company business card. When coming back asfter dumping, I notice know a different lady at the scale house, i get to the window and the lady says my card was decline for insufficient funds. Then asked if I have another card or cash to pay, i didn't. She tells me to go and pull to the side because she had other customers to attend. I pulled the side, and waited. After I seen no sign from that lady to help I go myself into the office, once I say the name of the company they recognize it and say yes we know who you are. Hand my truck registration and they give me an F sticker for my truck. Before I left they're office I explained the situation and said when I arrived I handed them my credit car but it got decline, so the office lady said: " go back on the scale, show them the F sticker and the transaction will go into the account with no problem." Happily returning to my truck after 20-30 min delayed, I return to the scale, the lady which I forgot her name hertencinia or something like that, told me she couldn't do it that way. I explained that her manager in the office said it wasn't a problem, she got an attitude and told me to pull back on the side again, and she had to call her supervisor Alonzo. I asked if I can get my credit card back since I wasn't going to pay with that and she nodded and kept it. After having to wait for another 20-25 min, I noticed the supervisor walking back and forth. Score entering the scale house to deal with the situation, slowly taking their time another lady comes out and takes my license plates number after already having it when I first pulled up. After 10 min passed, the guys comes out with my credit card, Fsticker and my copy of my receipt and I asked what the problem was with the delay? And he responded "nothing. " I explained that they had hold is up for more than 45 min he said sorry for the delay next time you come you have to make sure you pay with either a card or the account. People like this can honestly give a bad name for a whole company. I understand the transaction had to be changed from a credit card to an account. But to hold me back and take time away and making it obvious that they where moving slow because they noticed my frustration was unprofessional. The staff in the office where super nice and helpful. But the lady and her supervisor out in the scale where not helpful at all. To end, that same day I had another dump run to make but was to scared to go back and get time tooking away from me. So I went else where they took a total of 15 min to be in n out. Not 45 min.

The people are helpful, and it is usually easy to get in and out. The Hazardous material part is confusing as all the signs say to stay in your vehicle but it seems one has to get out to help the attendant.

Excellent experience. No waiting, free, and the man unloaded everything. He took all my hazardous waste, paint, insect spray, car and food oils, florescent bulbs, and batteries. Highly recommend this place.
