I came in with a low-speed impact hit between my passenger door and the body. Looks simple, but there was a lot of labor due to the disassembly.
Nelson and his team took care of the body work with precision and care. It's been 5+ years and there are 0 leaks and no creaks. I am very confident in their repair ability and professionalism.
Google maps directions to their shop is a bit fickle, so be mindful that the shop is essentially located against the wall.
We were passing through Fremont on our way to Monterey to celebrate our anniversary when we noticed the fender was rubbing against the tire. Not wanting to risk a blow out on the drive, we stopped into Coelho's hoping someone could take a quick look. Even though it was late in the day on a Friday, the owner, Nelson (and his awesome employee), took the time to carefully asses and fix the issue on the spot. His genuine kindness and extensive car knowledge really stood out. Thanks to Nelson we were able to get back on the road safely and enjoy our weekend without worry. My experience here has been the best. They are so honest and straight forward. They didn’t give me the run around. They did the best work on my vehicle. I have been to other auto body shops but not like this one. This one turned out to be so amazing thanks to my dad for recommending me here. First off, if you are in need of any vehicle body repair and live in the east bay or south bay, you MUST visit Coelho's Body Repair for any body repair. This is my 3rd time having my vehicle repaired at the shop since 2017 (all 3 times my car was hit while stationary, talk about bad luck ...) . This is a family owned shop operated with the HIGHEST INTERGRITY. I have visited other shop that have upscale show room floors but un-deliver the work that they promised and OVERCHARGE me for work that is simply MEH... 3 weeks to put in rear window on my hatch back after getting broken into (after finding out they received the part from Toyota after a 3-4 days since the first week and afterward they misplace my cargo mat in the process...). Do yourself a favor, if you are in need of quality work and someone who actually takes their job seriously and treat you with integrity, at the very least talk to Nelson or Ryan for their feedback. Do waste your time dealing sales man selling you questionable services... Finding a honest man that stands behinds their work is a rare find.
The owner, Nelson, was very professional and focused in very clearly on what the best options were for repair. He was very honest, informative and articulate on the issues and listened to my concerns carefully. I will go to him for all my body repair needs in the future.
Just had my 2017 cadillac in this shop for a roof and fender repair. The shop was extremely clean when I went for an estimate. They were friendly and professional while explaining the repair process to me in detail. The repairs and color match were perfect. They went beyond my expectation and I highly recommend this shop. Coelho’s Body Repairs shop is the best car body repair shop in Fremont, I say the best in the Bay Area. Not only they repair my car’s front fender and bumper, but they did it at their estimated price, not a single penny more.
They are honest and courteous family owned business. Ryan (grandson of Nelson Coelho) gave me the repair estimates and it was the same amount when car was ready to pick up, repair was so good it looked like it was never been in an accident. When I asked two different friends, who didn't know each other, for a recommendation for auto body repair, they both said Coelho's was the best. They were so right; my car looks like it had never been in an accident. Even though my car is almost 7 years old, they were able to match the paint perfectly.
Ryan was super nice and helpful! He gave me very sincere advice on the best way to fix the primer scratch of my car and showed me how to apply the touch paint and gave me a tube of touch up brush for me to use, free of charge! Their service is supreme and no wonder they have the full review score on Yelp! They deserve it!
I Couldnt be more pleased with Nelson and Ryan, from the initial call, to meeting for a quote, then putting my car in the shop. They stuck to the quoted price, fantastic work, i cannot tell my car was damaged. I hope i don't have anymore car issues, but if i do , ill be back to Coehlos.

Nelson and his family at Coelhos body repair helped my mother during a very stressful time after she was the victim in an accident, he helped calm and reassure her that everything would be ok and answered her questions and provided an estimate on her vehicle when the insurance company tried to intimidate her into just taking her vehicle to a salvage yard without a proper estimate and viewing of the vehicle. Nelson and his father were friendly, outgoing, and professional, I highly recommend you take your vehicle to this auto body shop for a honest & reliable great mechanic and outstanding auto service repair that can't be found elsewhere.
This place is awesome and is well worth it's five star rating. The owner, Nelson, was courteous, friendly and very helpful with the entire process of getting an estimate, working with the at fault drivers insurance and getting my truck back to me in a week. He also repaired and extra panel for me at no extra cost. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend his services to anyone else.
Coelho's was awesome. Brought in an Audi S4 with damage over the rear fender and they made it look brand new. I will recommend this body shop to anyone I know and everyone I don't know. Excellent customer service and great communication throughout the entire process.
Fantastic service. They brought our (already cheap) bill from $500 to $300. That bill was for a car that, at first glance, looked totaled. Now it looks like new.
Had to replace a rear door on a Nissan Leaf. Fast and accurate estimate, seamless collaboration with insurance/payment, work performed on schedule. Professional and positive interactions with the folks there. And the door looks like new. Excellent service. Hopefully I'll never need a body shop again, but if I do, this is where I'll go.
