Just left the Jado recycling and the JADO must stand for Just Another Decieving Organization because they totally ripped me off! I went their inspite of many other bad reviews most of them left feeling ripped off. That's exactly what you will feel when you leave. We waited in the sun with our recyclables for atleast 45 mins while they went to lunch instead of splitting two lunches and not breaking for 45 mins while they have atleast 10 customers waiting patiently on a Sunday, finally after waiting I was greeted with a smiling face and I even left a tip. When I calculated the rate of aluminum is at 1.68 per lbs including CRV california redemption value of .05 per can I had 47.36 lbs of aluminum and was paid $48.89 for all of it. I should have gotten $ 79.58 ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK BUT IF I WERE YOU I WOULD TAKE A PICTURE OF THE SCALES UPON WEIGHING SO YOU HAVE SOME VISUAL PROOF OR ELSE YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF.
Decent. Waited 37 minutes. About 6 people ahead of me. If its not normal bottles, take off caps. Came in with 2 bags and some Sparkling Ice Bottles and it took a min for the guy to twist the caps off
I was reading other reviews and i thought it was only me that they rip you off. You can’t see how much the stuff weighs . Sometimes I bring in less then last time and I get paid more .
This location sucks, they ripped me off too. I thought maybe it was because I didn't crush my cans making them weigh less but it never sat well with me. The Atherton location is great though. They never do this, always fair and I'm always pleasantly surprised with what I walk away with for my recycling.

I SAY WHY?
HE answered yesterday I had a problem with your husband!
And my boss say we can't get you guys material
I responded but the problem it was with him no with me
We are 2 different customers
He responded yes but because he is your companion
And I re answered:
We are 2 different customers
He say No
I turn around and I left them the material..
I have never felt so ripped off by anywhere I've ever gone to do recycling as I did when I went here to do my recycling. I don't speak much Spanish and they didn't speak any English so I wasn't even able to ask why they were doing that to me and they put my stuff in the back without me even being able to protest it. I had been saving my recycling for 3 months I had four big large trash bins full of plastics half a garbage bin full of aluminum cans and a whole bin full of glass. Got 26$ for everything. Ice been recycling for years. I know that I got ripped off. I just moved here to Fremont and don't know where to go but I'll never ever go there again.
They ripped me off for 15 pounds with the plastic bottles then they tried to get me with 10 pounds on the aluminum cans and I made them give me my cans back. I am in the process of submitting a complaint to Weights & Measures.
Be aware!! This is a very dishonest location. The bucket weighted 8.8lbs and the guy there put it as 9lbs( stealing 0.2lbs). Plus each weighted load he deducted 2-3lbs, very dishonest and do not come here for recycling!!!
Only Two people working and take really long time. Go there when you have plenty of time to kill in a line with basket full of recycling materials.
The only guy responsible for weighing the material is carefully inspecting few mL s of water in water bottles makes it worse. The average time for one customer is around 15-20 crazy mins !!!!
Took in 23.4 lbs of aluminum cans. The sign says $1.65/lb (same as Tri-CED is $1.66) so should have been $39 but only got $22 at $0.98/lb. Upon question, the guy just shrugged indicating that is it. Shady business.
This is a great recycling center. I have used it many times and they pay cash. They are very professional and the wait time is nothing or five minutes. Love this place!
First time here 12 cars waiting for one person to return from their lunch which ended at 1:30 its now 1:41. I called their number to let someone know there is a huge line. Not enough buckets to go around. Not well organized.
Gone here THREE times and each time, we had more and more aluminum cans to recycle to only have less and less money given. A HUGE RIPOFF. Fremont wants your money and this is the only recycling center available. GO OUTSIDE OF THIS CITY (go outside of the county) and find yourself another respectable recycling center. NOT WORTH THE PATRON.
For the people who have a "we recycle and I don't care how much I get because it's for the environment" is exactly why they STEAL YOUR MONEY. That "I don't care" attitude makes this place the way it is.
The reason why I come to Jado recycling cuz it’s the nearest location in Fremont community and it almost opens every day! The staff Dustin is super nice. And I don’t care how much I can get from recycling. The ultimate goal is about recycle! Taking steps on recycling, not just being benefit to you but all our communities and environmental protection. Don’t think it’s too late to start environmental protection! Jado recycling is a good opportunity for you to take your responsibility as a citizen.

The Recycling specialist was extremely patient. When there was confusion about what is and isn't CA-CRV worthy. I am so grateful that this place is available and now they are offering hassle free express service that you can purchase a take home bag For only $5 bucks and fill with your CRV material. I have One for cans, one for Plastic. All I have to do now is drop the bag off between 10-5pm any day of the week and I get paid within 24hrs by Zelle. No more waiting behind impatient people that complain about how their milk carton isn't CA CRV-refund eligible. Congratulations on your venture into the future. Five Stars. Personally recycle no more than 50 each plastic/cans/glass for the refund last time I went i had 50 bottles 14 cans 4 glass I received 6.75 this time I went i had 50 plastic 34 cans and 8 glass one would assume that I would have received more back well I only received 4.50 and I know that cvr didn't go down I'm not ever happy right now
Friendly staff and convenient location. They were busy when I went but they had plenty of containers to go around for all the customers. Make sure all your caps are off the bottles and your trip will be faster (caps can still go in the recycling container they just can't be attached to the bottle). Be sure to also sort your aluminum, glass and plastic separately.
Same here. We went there with bags of cans and bottles during their posted working hours but nobody was there. Waited for 20 minutes and still no one showed up. If they can’t do the job why did they mislead the public and waisted our time and gas?
Picked up my cans and waited for them to open. One hour past their opening time and nobody is here. I called their number and their answering system just hangs up on me. Wasted time, heading elsewhere!
