What clients say about Mayberry Auto Sales & Salvage in Fort Smith (AR)

I already purchased and paid for this 356 and Karmann Ghia car through "Mayberry" in Fort Smith, Arkansas, in January 2025. The shipment never arrived in Germany! I've fallen victim to a scam. US $ 21.000 !!! They are also fraudsters, as is the, "Freight Forwarders Shipping Company."

Tried buying a car from him listed online. Our first communication he told me whatever I wanted to hear then when I asked for photos he hung up and stopped returning my calls.

This company is a scam. Do you not but anything from this company. They scammed me out of 1300. I purchased a truck canopy from them and here a week later in have not got a proof of purchase or tracking as promised. Also I called around Fort Smith AR and the company has been out of business with 5 years. SCAMM!

Mayberrys gold and silver is really a garage and auto parts store. Mr. Mayberry should be reported to the better business bureau for several reasons. Not only is he way overpriced for example a $1300 used motor he also lied about the time it would take for the used motor to come in, which ended up being 10 days later instead of the 3 days he promised. Which caused me to be without a car and not being able to go to work for several months because my mechanic which i had already paid for his services had other commitments scheduled he had to take care of first since my motor was not in on time.Mr. Mayberry also promised the refund of the $150 core charge when the old motor was returned with all of the parts he requested. He not only refused the refund of the core charge, but Mr. Mayberry also was supposed to order a $130 window motor replacement part for the right side of my vehicle which it clearly states on the receipt but had a replacement motor for the left side of the car. Then Mr. Mayberry rudely refused to take the part back even tho it was clearly his mistake in ordering wrongly. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for auto parts or to sell their unwanted gold or silver. The way we were treated by this man was very uncalled for and not good business like. Regretfully I wish I would have known that before it was too late.
