First time coming here and made it very easy. Got my car done very quickly. And kept the communication up with me on what was going on. Everyone was very helpful. I will absolutely continue to come here.
The staff was great, I called to have my vehicle towed in, and they sent out a tow truck in just a few minutes to my location. The driver was curtious and helpful and got my wife and I to their shop safely. They evaluated my vehicle, gave me a cost breakdown which was very fair, and a estimated time on when my vehicle would be completed. Once done, they called me back and I picked up the truck. It runs great and I'm completely satisfied with the service I received. I will recommend all of my friends and family to Macs.
I unfortunately was involved in a hut and run on my Nissan Kicks and have been experiencing quirky symptoms. Macks Auto Center has helped me with finding the issues and how to address them. They also take excellent care of my Fiat 500 Pop. Will continue to utilize their services and recommend them. Keep up the great work!
Mack’s Auto Repair & Tow Service absolutely saved the day for my family and me. After breaking down on the side of the road in rural Oklahoma with a Ram 1500 and a 23-foot travel trailer. They picked us up, delivered my trailer to an RV park, and delivered my truck to their shop in Fort Smith, Arkansas. From the very beginning, their professionalism and care stood out.
Once in the shop, the team diagnosed the issue and discovered that my rear differential had completely failed. Not only did they explain everything clearly, but they also backed up their assessment with detailed photos and video so I understood exactly what went wrong. Their honesty and transparency were refreshing—especially in such a stressful situation.
What impressed me most was their speed and dedication. Within 24 hours, they had sourced a new (used) rear axle, completed the install, and had me back on the road. Their entire staff was friendly, informative, and clearly committed to doing right by their customers.
Breaking down on the road while traveling full-time could have been a nightmare, but Mack’s turned it into a manageable—and surprisingly positive—experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you need reliable, honest, and highly skilled service, this is the shop to trust.

I previously left a 5 star review. I had a new radiator installed as I was told by Mack's that was causing my car to overheat. Drive about 2 weeks and started to overheat again and water dripping under dashboard. They told me I now need a hose replaced that was the problem and cost would be $700. I don't know what happened to this place but it has gone to the dogs...literally! Not to mention one of the ladies that works up front is rude with a smart mouth. I understand Mack retired. He always provided excellent customer service.
For my vehicles, there just one place, Mack's with owner Travis and his guys, I'm always assured my vehicles fixed on time and right everytime. Businesses like this thats been around 55 years and with Travis now owning it but being there over a decade, this is the type of business we all should be supporting, not a big box business that dont know your, your kids or your car. For my house, its Mack's and Travis and the guys, everytime, no hesitation.
Spent 4400 dollars with no good results. Charged 300. For fuel pump twice. Travis didn't have the time to talk too me. Will not go back. $ bottom line. Too bad.
I'm very thankful for their service and kind people. I was 3 hours away from home with my child and my car wouldn't start. They sent someone to give me a jump and follow me to the shop. They fit us in and were able to get us back on the road!
Had a 97 f250 with a 460 that was in a shop in Barling twice, then to Randall Ford and no one could fix it. Took it to Mack's and they fixed it at a reasonable price. So grateful.
Y’all have no idea how amazing these people are! We own a Boat lift installation company out of Oklahoma. We were at the Fort Smith Park Launch Ramp (Per Customer) our flatbed trailer (boat trailer) went off the end of the ramp and was stuck in the mud with all the moss on the ramp my dually wouldn’t grab anything. This company came out lifted the trailer up so I could get pulled back out, 2 of their guys had to get in the water to hook up to the trailer and never once complained they had the best attitudes and for everything they tried including 3 different trucks it was so affordable. Highly recommend them. I can’t Thank them enough
Dakota sent me home with a broken radiator neck after installing an alternator, Travis sent me home the next time with it still leaking. no opinions here. facts are they didn't do the job right twice in a row and almost cost me a lot of money if that leak wasn't found. it would have overheated, gasket would've eventually blown. they offered to fix it after the second time but at that point, as anyone would, i did not trust the quality or integrity of the shop. i included names for accountability. hopefully this helps them do better, if not, hopefully it helps your choice.
Very appreciative to Mack’s Towing. Emergency Roadside Tow was available day before Christmas Eve. I didn’t catch the drivers name, but very professional. Thanks to him for getting our box truck to a mechanic location.
Mack’s did a great job on my Sierra 1500. Had the lifters replaced two years ago and truck is running great to this day with no problems. I take my truck and car here regularly for oil changes and have never had an issue. Thanks yall!

God willing - this vehicle will deliver my bestie and her family to all their dreams and responsibilities for a good, long time! If, God forbid, anything does go bad far too quickly - I’m not terribly concerned; Mack’s Auto has a reputation for fair business practices and is known for operating with integrity. Especially when it comes to overburdened mothers just looking for a vehicle to shuttle kids around and make it to appointments and get to work! Seriously, look for halos - cuz these dudes are angels!! Oh! And they’re also ace auto repairmen - top mechanics and the like - but they don’t price their repairs like those other shops that charge fees that would make a Pharisee blush! Nope, Mack’s Auto is definitely a Godsend - I thank God for you and how happy you’ve made my bestie! Thank you, Mack’s Auto!!
While my vehicle was not worth the cost of repairs this time, they have always been fair, honest and stood behind quality work. They took the time to answer my multitudes of questions. They even helped me find a solution to my current transportation problem. The ONLY local mechanics I take my vehicles to and I would absolutely, 100%, recommend them to anyone.
Im rating my visit 5 stars. Honest, fair and friendly staff. Its no wonder why they stay busy. I'm out of state and got off the interstate after traveling 500miles because of a sound that I was concerned about.. I came in first thing in the morning and they took care of the problem ASAP. If I ever move away (too far away) I will be disappointed! It’s hard to trust someone not to charge you an arm and a leg. To fix what only needs to be fixed and to do good quality work!

Great experience! Yvette made sure to call to get permission before doing anything with the vehicle. They were upfront about issues and costs. Very reasonable prices and super friendly staff! I will only be taking my vehicle to Mack's for as long as I'm in Arkansas!!!
I've been taking my cars to Mack's for 28 years. They are knowledgeable and honest. I've even taken cars in for repairs I thought they needed and Mack's would later call and tell me it was something minor and much less expensive. What other repair shop is that honest? Their prices are very fair as well. I've been sending friends and family to Mack's for decades!
