AC repair! Last summer I brought my F-150 to Tim's. It was obvious I had a leak but I couldn't find it. I had taken it to several other places but I couldn't bring myself to trust anyone to do the work correctly. Out of desperation I gave it over to Tim's. To make a long story short, they did everything correctly, and over a period of time got it done. You see, AC repair is not always straightforward and simple, especially when it comes to leaks. So, here it is a year later and I'm finally posting a review because I've had no problems and my AC is working great still this summer.

I'm from out of state and had issues with my truck and from the beginning they were honest about appointments and all and I respect that. All I can say I that they were very professional and did an amazing job on my truck and had me going in no time. Thank you so much for your work and hospitality hope I don't have to but I would come back and get anything worked on by you guys..

I received a very concise and accurate estimate to replace the water pump on My 2014 Highlander. The staff was very friendly as I dropped off the car. I will never bring a vehicle here ever again. They botched a simple repair that caused more damage to my vehicle, and they didn't want to own up to their own mistakes. Took them a long time to call me back, basically trying to avoid me. I went to get a 2nd opinion somewhere else and found out that this place totaled my vehicle entirely. This has been my experience, and I would never recommend this place to anyone

My 2014 Mustang was taken to Tim's Automotive to fix the brake system and to do an oil & filter change. It was about one week to get an appt. and two days to do the work in early March, 2024. Both were quite tjmely. The master cylinder and brake fluid were replaced, my braking problem has been solved, and my confidence in the brakes has been restored 100%. I'm very satisfied with Tim's and would continue to use them for other work in the future. Bill G.

You rarely find a mechanic shop that is honest and not overpriced. I can't say enough about how awesome this shop is. Everyone from the owner down is amazing. I highly recommend Tim's Auto, they'll take great care of you and your vehicle.

I searched for YEARS for a mechanic I could trust. Finally found him, and his shop recently closed, so I followed him here. These guys have taken care of me, treated me very well, and have been honest and up front. It's so easy for people like me to be taken advantage of, as I know very little about auto repair. After my experience with them this week, I wouldn't take my jeep anywhere else. Thank you tims auto for being one of the good guys in a world of greed. You are very appreciated.

I was given an estimate for $300. to replace the actuator on a 2011 Chevrolet Impala. I scheduled the repair and dropped it off. Several hrs later I received a call stating that it was substantially more work then they anticipated due to a dual zone system so it would cost $1000.00 to perform this repair. I told him I couldn't pay $700. more then the original estimate so i told him i'd be by to pick up the car. When I arrived I was appalled to find out I had a bill for the minimum charge of $67.00. You'd think as soon as they looked at the dashboard and saw dual zone system they knew what would be required. Very disappointing.

There is absolutely no where else I will take my vehicles. Tim's staff are the most helpful, honest, and great people. The mechanics know what they are doing and have saved me so much money over the years being honest. I am so happy I found this place.

The work they did was good, we did have to come back as the part ordered did not come in, we would have appreciated a phone call about the delay. Really the only negative was that my floor mats were covered in greasy shoe marks. A simple fix for them and a ton of work for me.

Every time I go into Tim's, They do a great job at educating and talking about repairs on a level that I understand. I've also been in there on a couple of different occasions where they've saved me a few hundred dollars because they were able to fix issues at much more affordable rate. Timely, honest, easy to talk to - I recommend them to everyone.

Tim is the BEST! I was stranded in 90 degree weather and he went above and beyond to help tow and fix my car. I had called 5-6 places for a tow and it was going do be at least 3-4 hours. The nice lady in the office asked Tim and he was concerned for me to be stranded in the heat. He came right over within 20 minutes to tow my car. I've been taking my vehicles to Tim's for almost 40 years now. I thought I had an alternator problem but it turned out to be an issue with the battery. They did discover an urgent problem with the wheel bearings in one of the front wheels and they were able to fix it promptly. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks Tim's!

Had some routine maintenance on my tensioner and belts. Additionally needed a gasket leak and reservoir replaced. Tim’s auto is pretty authentic and has great guys working there. Have had the brakes done in the pat for multiple cars and haven’t been disappointed yet. Happy to take referral calls.

I had a challenging repair that I needed completed for my Nissan Pathfinder. Tim's was one of the few shops that would consider doing the work. The job was successfully finished and they even assisted in getting the front end aligned for me. The time and cost for the repair were very reasonable and I was very satisfied with their work.

Tim's was recommended to me and I am so glad they were! I had an issue with my car that turned out to be small and easy to fix. Not only did my car get fixed but I also learned several things I did not know but will help me moving forward to have new knowledge about cars, batteries, jumper cables, etc. Everyone I spoke with was great. They were kind and helpful. I am thrilled to have a reliable, trustworthy place to take my vehicles. Update: these guys continue to be awesome. Always take care of us quickly and affordably. We'll keep going ba k to them tune and time again. Took our first vehicle in because of some knocking and wobbling we were hearing. In only an hour or two, they called and told us what the problem was, how much it would be to repair it, and when the work would be complete. Cost was well below what we had expected, and turn around time was only 1 day for a pretty major repair. Took the second vehicle in the next week for similar issues, and got a similar results. The service, professionalism, and all around experience at Tim's Automotive is the best I have had. Take your vehicles there first.

They are one of the few auto service centers that I know of that still have real mechanics. Old 92 Buick that they had replaced ac components in 2017. Vehicle sat for a year with no use. I assumed the refrigerant had leak out. They diagnosed it and found a relay to be faulty. AC was all good. They took the time to actually work on it properly instead of just throwing parts at it. Cost very reasonable. Highly recommend.

My classic truck broke down on the side of the road. The tow driver suggested Tim's Automotive, but I wasn't sure. I don't trust just anyone with my beloved Blue Belle. I finally agreed and I'm glad I did. Shane and Tim were wonderful in every way - kind, easy to work with, knowledgeable (even about 40+ year old vehicles), took pride in their work, and were personable to boot. Plus, they didn't try to upsell me on anything and the final bill was less than I expected. If Blue Belle has any other mechanical problems, I'll definitely go to Tim's.

I recently had a quote for some routine maintenance on a Chrysler 200 at a local dealer. I chose to use Tim's and that was a great decision. Their service is prompt, the service was completed on schedule and at a very affordable price. I highly recommend their services

I had an issue related to a warranty repair that was performed and Shayne was very nice in handling this situation and he took care of my repair while my vehicle was in Florida. My clutch went out almost immediately after taking my car to Superior Mazda for an airbag recall. I drove probably less than 20 miles before the clutch started going out. Superior wouldn't acknowledge any responsibility and said it would cost almost $2000 to fix it. I didn't trust Superior, so I wanted another shop. I'm from out of town, so some family who live locally recommended Tim's. They fixed the car for under $500. I was very happy with their honesty and service.

I never used their towing services, but I have taken my cars to their shop for repair quite a few times. I would say that I am absolutely pleased with them. Firstly, I never felt that I am being taken for a ride here. I am very particular about the care I put on my cars, and try to get fixed if something is broken or does not appear right. More than one time, the guys in the shop told me that something could be fixed (cheaper option) without a need to get new parts and replace it. Wow! Never met a car mechanic elsewhere who lets go of an opportunity to sell something new, even though it is not required. One time, they polished the rotors when my brakes were squealing, telling me that would take care of the problem till the next service when they would actually work on getting new brake pads. One time, I had a cracked splash shield that they fixed for $50 (screws and manual labor included) instead of trying to sell me a new splash guard that itself sells for over $100. I feel that these guys are very honest. Another advantage of Tim's is that the shop has very qualified mechanics, but their cost of labor and parts are substantially less than what you pay at places like Firestone or at the dealers. The guys at the counter will actually turn the computer screens towards you to show you what part you require, and you are welcome to research on the price yourself as well. These facts are all from my experience. I visit the shop with needs that are not covered by my vehicles' warranty or extended warranty. I also trust them to the extent that I sometimes get a second opinion from their shop if I feel that my dealer is trying to oversell something during my regular maintenance and oil change visits. I have recommended Tim's Automotive to many of my friends, and I recommend them here as well.
