The head honcho at R&R Towing and Transport LLC Shawn is a God send. I had driven David From Tempe, Arizona all the way to Mayer, Arizona, for a reservation request to take him to the high school or school in Mayer, for a marathon. It was about 80 miles, and I had about 150, and I thought I had calculated the miles correctly. But I was completely wrong because when I had gotten David to the school, safe and sound with respect which was my main priority, I saw that I only had 1 mile left. I drive a 2024 Kia Nero fully electric vehicle.
So luckily, there was a Tesla supercharger station nearby within 2 miles. Everything else is about 20 miles plus. So I thought I could just use my adapter that comes with the car. Or I could just use the Pilot charging station that it shows on the maps, but that charging station is actually not even there at Pilot, frustratingly.
So when I arrive to the Pilot station at the Tesla supercharge section, I open up my hood and the compartment where it should have the adapter is gone…. I guess I have to blame the Hertz Rental location from where I got this car, as they did not make sure to have that in there and I guess also me for not checking beforehand, but still, you know? cmon.
And because I didn’t have any more free tows with my Uber DIamond status and Hertz emergency roadside assistance, was not allowing me to request a tow based off of the coverage I have with them because apparently my car is in a repo status, even though it shouldn’t be in a repo status because of their own billing errors, I knew that I’m was going to have to pay out-of-pocket for a towing service and disappointingly also knowing that all that driving and earning I had done for the previous 5 to 6 hours was going to be pretty much for nothing, I felt demoralized.
So I contacted Shawn, and he was super awesome, super friendly, and he understood my situation. He heard me, and he cared for me. He got me to the nearest charging station in Anthem Arizona, and was able to do so with a certain type of tow truck, that worked, didn’t need a flatbed, which he does have and reassured me that everything was good.
With that I felt I could trust him because of the confidence that I could feel. We had a great talk on the way to Anthem, Arizona and when it was all said and done, he only charged me $50, while, other towing services would’ve charged me 300% more or 400% more, or I don’t know and I don’t want to know
Anyways to me that shows empathy, that also shows me that he is a real human being that actually cares for people when unexpected situations happen…. because in life, even though you’re doing good and doing you’re best and working crazy hard… unexpected things can happen and it can be painful, good people like Shawn, Is someone you can trust and rely on to be there for you when it comes your towing needs right away when unexpected and painful occurrences hit and feel that you’re going to be stranded
I 100% only recommend Shawn for his professional and expertise towing services as well as his undeniably excellent customer service. Don’t go to anyone else for anything towing related, or towing request, unless you don’t want genuine and true business and service

This place was an absolute LIFESAVER! They brought my husband (and his truck) home safely without charging an arm & a leg! I would recommend them everyday! I can't thank you enough!
A complete disaster. We were out of fuel. Quoted a price $265 and kept on asking for more every 30mins. They made up stories and kept on delaying and delaying and asking for more and more (additional $160). Total $425 just to deliver 5gal of fuel 20minutes away. They ended up cancelling. Avoid at all cost.
A prompt response and amazing service. Team is professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. My son and I got a flat tire heading south on I-17 to Phoenix, right after Sunset Point. We had to pull over in a dangerous spot, not conducive to changing a tire. We were there for barely 20 minutes before help arrived, and my son and I were immediately able to calm down. Thank you for all your help today!
Called for a tow, was given a price $350+, then they called and said it was going to be more because of where the car was located. Tow was canceled and they still charged credit card. They offered $150, but we said no, because it was like a bait & switch. Disputed through credit card company and they lied and said they sent email/letter (20 days later) saying it was non refundable. They NEVER sent that communication. They also have made up phone transcripts saying we cancelled when they were 20 minutes out and cancelled because cops were helping us out. Falsification! Better Business Bureau is next step!
These guys were awesome. I broke down, heading up to flagstaff by the truck stop with a vehicle full of people. Not only did they get my vehicle towed, but they also sent someone to drive us back in town. Great communication and very good customer service. Definitely recommend giving them a call if you need a tow!
My name is Jeromy with Freeway Towing. Truly is sad when one tow company steps on another tow companies toes. I got a call from a customer needing a tow in Mayer to Phoenix and half way to Mayer he calls to cancel because R&R Towing pulled up to him and offered their services. That is illegal. I called R&R and he answered the phone the driver himself (so one of those small companies if dispatcher and driver are the same person) I told him who I was and how that isn't right. He said the guy called him which I have text proof he didn't. I told the driver if he called then screenshot me proof on his call log and I will Zelle or cash app him 150.00 and of course he didn't. He as since ignored me. No wonder everyone give tow truck drivers bad names. Look what they do...
Broke down on the 17 just south of Cordes Junction. Called and got an immediate answer with a 45min ETA for pickup. Truck was delivered to a local shop, no problems. Quick, efficient, and courteous. He even stopped to check on me on his way to get the tow truck. Fair price for a tow this far out from Prescott Valley.
Coming back from Tucson my car overheated. I was lucky enough to make it to the truck stop on I17 and called this place. Shawn was awesome! He said he would call me back and made a phone call to a mechanic to see if he would be open the next day as it would be Saturday (Labor day weekend). Explained what happened to the guy. Called me back and said we were all set for 1st thing the next morning. Even offered to stop by to peek at car but we decided just to wait till morning. Showed up on time and got me to the mechanic with no worries. One of my angels! Can’t thank you enough for your service! Highly recommend this place for your towing needs.
Such amazing person. He went out of his way to make sure I was safe. He even made sure I had water when he got to me due to being stuck in the heat. He made sure I got all the way home safe. He made such a stressful situation much easier: I’m grateful he was able to help me
R&R is amazing. I had a conex to move and noone said they could move it. Rob not only told me he could but said he could do it the next morning. I received a call from him 2 hrs later saying he could do it same day. He was extremely efficient and thorough even though the box was only being moved about 1500 ft. He was concerned with damaging the conex and the natural habitat around the area. He was very inexpensive and I will be recommending him to everyone in the future. Thank you R&R towing.

Robert was amazing!!! He made our messed up day just a little bit better. Very awesome guy! He was to us faster then he quoted and the 70 mile ride back into the valley was fun, funny and not awkward at all. I want to thank Robert for his service. He was extremely helpful to getting us back on the road today after we had a trailer shred a tire and it wrapped around the axle. Robert & Jimmy helped us tremendously & I’m so grateful we crossed paths. Robert was so positive when we were sitting ducks at a truck stop. I wish I can give more than five stars or even infinite stars to Robert of R & R Towing & Transport. Words can't even describe how grateful am I to him for going above and beyond! My sons and I rented a car on Friday, 08/11 at the airport and was given an EV non- Tesla car. As we headed our way for our day trip the following day around AZ and to watch a boxing match on Glendale, AZ at 5pm to celebrate one of my sons' birthday, since being a newbie on driving an EV car, little did i know it will turned into a nightmare! Please do yourself a favor, never rent an EV car for long trips especially in AZ and if your car breaks down, please call the towing company DIRECTLY instead of the rental co. nor your insurance company as chances are there is no service and they are not helpful. We were stuck off the freeway at Mayer, past Lake Cordes, ironically in front of a property that is owned by ADOT (!) for 3.5 hours from 11:30am to 3pm. I was making some back and forth phone calls with the rental co. to request for roadside assistance that never came. I prayed and prayed for help and had a little lightbulb moment out of desperation and decided to google for the nearest towing company and there it was R & R Towing Company is first on the list and only towing service in Mayer, AZ. Robert took my call and made the drive in 40 minutes even if he had a busy day before he helped us, but still made it to help me and my boys get out of there and most importantly help us made it to the event in Glendale. I can compare him like that of an angel that appeared in the desert. He's customer service is exceptional! He started his service strong and finished it strong. He never left us until I was able to get to the charging station and made sure the charging station worked too. I couldn't ask for a better service than R & R Towing. It is friendly, prompt, personable and knowledgeable. Thank you so much Robert and the other R, who is your wife from the bottom of our hearts. You are such a blessing to me and my boys.

Robert at R&R towing is amazing. My car got stuck up in the mountains in a Rocky dirt road. And no other towing company would service. Not even my car insurance. Robert made the drive 45 minutes to help me and get me out of there. They're customer service is outstanding. I don't know what I would have done without them. They truly were a life saver.

Stuck in the middle of nowhere on the way to the airport and I was really upset. The driver was very kind and knew just what to say to calm me down. He was very I professional and got me home safely. This company was $100 less than the other two I called.

The most friendly and accommodating tow company I have ever experienced. They were there fast and did us an amazing service. Would highly recommend them for everyone. We had AAA card but they couldn’t be there for 3 hours. R&R was there in 15 minutes. He towed us all the way home before AAA would have arrived.
After waiting an hour for my roadside assistance, my kids and I finally got too cold and called for a local tow. They arrived promptly, 10 minutes later, got my kids into the warm cab of the tow truck, and got us home without any problems!

Found our self’s stuck, on the side of a mountain in the middle of the night. The owner Robert Denny showed up at 11 pm and worked well past 8am the next morning helping us retrieve our truck. This is a man of integrity not only did he help us all night but he honored his original price for the tow. Highly recommend him and his company if you find yourself stranded and in need of help, Honest person and very positive through the whole mess, a pleasure meeting him in a terrible situation.
The service was excellent. We didn’t have a spare and decided on getting towed but he was able to find a spare for our car and saved us money! He was so kind and told us the closest place to get a new tire. If I ever get in this situation again, I know who to call. Thank you!
