Took my car in for service for the first time, Orvan was fantastic. Price was great, service was excellent. Orvan went over the car, pointed out a few things that need looked at, and gave me an estimate. I was very pleased and plan to take my other car in to Mayer Truck and Auto asap. We needed to replace our battery. They were able to get our battery replaced and stalled right when we got there.
He was very thorough and knowledgeable about the concerns we had, and he took the time to address them.

Orvin is so kind, my 2005 Toyota RAV4 has an issue with the battery draining, I told him I’m new in the area and have a new job so I can’t be missing work (already had to miss one day due to this RAV situation) he said he would look at it same day and see if we can at least get me an answer….. You just don’t come across to many mechanics that take a moment to be human and CARE…..
A suspected water pump failure on the freeway last weekend necessitated a tow to a nearby repair facility. I picked Mayer Truck & Auto repair at random, and I made the right choice. When I arrived the following Monday, Orvin and Bill dropped what they were doing to diagnose my vehicle, spending about an hour and determining it was a simple overheating problem due to a high outside temperature and the fact I was blasting the AC while climbing out of Camp Verde. I was able to drive off after paying only $25, which left me feeling a bit guilty as their service was definitely worth over twice that. Nice people who care, like Orvin and Bill, are the ones you want to be giving your money to.
They have always taken great care of us. They find ways to save money and even made a couple house calls (within Mayer). Above and beyond! Thanks guys.
Orvin and Bill are the best!!! They went above and beyond to fix my car. The cost was more than fair. If you need a great mechanic just call Mayer Truck and Auto. You won't be disappointed.
Seems to me they care more about there contract jobs than a regular customer. I mean when the guy tells you we put the contract jobs ahead of regular customer they.do not really care for your business. Maybe they shouldn't have and open to public business. I sure hope things change.
