We recently had our engine replaced in our Jeep CJ7 by someone else. The carburetor, timing, and throttle were not properly tuned and we were burning LOTS of fuel. The Classic Car guys here did a GREAT job getting everything tuned up. The Jeep is running like a champ!! Thank you.

Thanks for the rescue, Mr Automotive! James and Cameron helped me with my oil leak.... Some other shop did an oil change and put on the wrong oil filter, causing big mess and big stress. I won't be going back to that Valencia Big Oh no mo! Might cost a few extra dollars to stay in GV, but worth the price for competency and friendly service. Only negative was the TV tuned to Fox channel spewing "entertainment".

I was having trouble connecting my android to Google maps .. I went to mr. Automotive and I can't say enough wonderful things about them.. they were able to show me the problem and it was fixed in seconds.. what a wonderful business...

Halfway on a trip from across the country, my oil change notification came on. I stopped at Mr. Automotive and the young man, James, was able to get my vehicle in on the same day. In addition to the oil change, they also checked the system, rotated the tires, and changed the air filters. I'd recommend Mr. Automotive for their friendly, qualified service and very reasonable price. Thank you, James. You made my day!

In recent reviews, recurring poor communication was cited, and my experience definitely confirmed that. If you want to know what's going on with your car, they won't be volunteering that information to you unless you press them for it. I certainly won't be going to these guys again since they don't understand customer service.

Poor communication, no customer service and makes you wait days for them to call you with diagnostics.

Coming home got off the freeway to come home. Heard something dragging under the truck it was the skip plate just so happens Mr. Automotive was right there. We pulled in and in 5 minutes we were leaving fixed and no charge. Can't find customer service like that anymore great job and thank you we will be back

Good. Honest. Reliable. James is a great guy who doesn't take advantage of a customers lack of mechanic knowledge. I will be taking any and all of my car problems to him in the future!

I don't bring my car to just anyone when I need something done. I'm very fussy who I let touch my Corvette and Mr Automotive can not only be trusted to do a great job they can be trusted with your car no matter what kind it is. They did an alignment for me and it's perfect. Steering wheel is straight and the car tracks down the road true. Thanks guys for doing a great job for me today. Update: I just finished rebuilding my front end on my 2004 Monte Carlo SS and of course it needed to be aligned again. I made an appointment and when I arrived they took the car right into the bays. I stopped back a little while later and my car was parked outside. They did a 4 wheel alignment and this time they did the BEST JOB EVER! The car goes perfectly straight down the road, it handles better than it ever did and again the steering wheel is perfectly on center. Even though it was more expensive than the last few times I've had my cars aligned I'm totally happy with their work. I'll be bringing my other car there for alignment in the near future. No matter what you drive or what repairs you need I strongly recommend Mr. Automotive. Tell James and Tom I sent you ?

These guys helped me out FAST when I was in a jam. Gave me a great deal and really good customer service on the phone and when I arrived. Young guy at the front on 6/30. The place down the street didn’t give me the time of day. Service is everything.

Misquoted pricing for the installation of my tires which I asked for in advance to avert any issues. Accompanying excuses for the $100.00 bump in pricing defied logic. Cannot recommend.

Recently, while visiting Green Valley, we stopped at Mr. Automotive for help with a "Maintenance Required" light on our dashboard. The young man, James, who helped us with turning off this light was outstanding. James was personable and knowledgeable, and he was able to figure out the correct steps to rectify the situation. James came from behind the service counter to immediately help us, and there was no charge for his service. We are extremely grateful for this young man and his service with a smile. We would highly recommend Mr. Automotive to anyone needing auto service in the Green Valley area.

The garage is the best garage in Green Valley Arizona. It is family owned and the owners care, are honest, with fair pricing, and know what they are doing. If it is broke they will fix it and if its not broke there is no charge.They are honest and a pleasure to do business with.

The people that work there are so accommodating, friendly, and well equipped to handle your mechanical problems. Several members of my family have used them and everyone has had the same wonderful experience. Don't hesitate, they are the real deal!!

I moved to Green Valley from CA three years ago. I quickly found virtually all dealerships and mechanics are in Tucson, with almost zero in Green Valley, most almost an hour away from me. Mr. Automotive was the closest mechanic to my home, and I wanted to use this service to save me the time and hassle of traveling back-and-forth to Tucson, every time I needed repairs or service. What I got from Mr. Automotive was incompetence and incredible delays. My first visit was 06/16/21, where I had all four tires replaced on my 2014 Chevy Cruze, which cost $855. Took two days. I had a "Check Engine" light go on, with a corresponding lack of power, and I went to the closest dealer, O'Reilly Chevrolet, who told me I needed a new catalytic converter, but they couldn't give me a rental. Because of proximity, I brought my Chevy to Mr. Automotive, on 10/22/21, and they said the dealership got it wrong, that the problem was really the turbocharger. Mr. Automotive charged me $1904.42 for a new turbocharger, held my car for four days, and when I left my "check engine light" went on again as I was driving back home. And the engine still had the lack of power issue. Because I figured the dealer knew more than a dimestore mechanic, I took my 2014 Cruze back to O'Reilly's Chevrolet, who charged me another $1500 for the catalytic converter, and my engine has NEVER come on again since. However, I still had the lack of power issue. Because of the wonderful service I was enjoying from Desert Toyota (for my other vehicle, a 2014 Toyota FJ), I decided to bring in my 2014 Chevy to the Toyota dealership — who correctly identified the lack of power issue as simply needing new spark plugs. My vehicle has since had full power. That was last year. However, this year, the brand-new tires that I had bought from Mr. Automotive had a manufacturing defect (bulge) for which Desert Toyota told me I should go back to the individual I bought them from (Mr. Automotive). On 04/07/23, Tom of Mr. Automotive removed the faulty tire, agreed it was a manufacturers defect, and told me he would send it in to BF Goodrich, under warranty, for a pro-rate a refund. Tom then charged me $240.69 to replace the defective tire HE SOLD ME, promising to send the warranty refund check when it came in. He never did. Months later, in October, I asked Tom about my warranty refund, and he apologized that he never actually sent anything in. He promised to do so, "this time," and then came up with excuse-after-excuse, delay-after-delay, and I finally asked him why HE didn't just refund me himself — since the amount was going to be prorated and not too much? Tom refused. Well guess what, on 12/21/23, I just got my 2014 Chevy Cruze back from Desert Toyota, who provided another 100-point inspection, who informed me that the $1,900 turbocharger installed by Mr. Automotive was leaking oil, due to improper installation. Desert Toyota actually had the integrity to say they will NOT repair it themselves, because Toyotas don't have turbochargers, and in their view replacing a full turbo charger is a high-difficulty task, requiring expert installation from a dealer-certified mechanic. They advised me to go to a Chevy dealership. What a refreshing and honest experience it is to go to Desert Toyota, who **twice now** has refused to take my money. In stark contrast, Mr. Automotive will take my money, not honor the tire warranty, and will attempt mechanical efforts that they are not actually qualified to perform. I never use this hack again.

Our car broke down today at the Chase Bank across the street from this location. We saw that there was this mechanic shop and we asked them to check it out. The person that helped us walked with us to the bank took a look and figured it was the battery. He gave us a jump and we were on our way. He didn’t charge us either which we really appreciate. I highly recommend this place.

Took my 1980 280Z to this shop to have many items repaired and get it road worthy. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the work and the price. I have been having the time of my life driving this old car and I have turned a few heads. Been showing it off and spreading the word. Impressing many people. I would definitely recommend this shop. Mr. Automotive is close by and easy to get to from just about anywhere. Clean shop with a good staff of mechanics. Prices are in line with other similar service businesses. Have had a few jobs done and I'm very satisfied with the work they have done for me. They are my go to service center when I need them and I recommend them to friends and family.

I have used Mr. Automotive since I moved to Green Valley 6 years ago. I have never needed big jobs, just oil changes and tire rotations. Today I needed them for an electrical problem that caused my car to "die" without any warning a couple of weeks ago, requiring a tow to get to their shop. I feared it could be a big job. I made an appointment, was assured they could handle electrical problems as well as mechanical problems, and had my car towed to get to the shop a day before my appointment so it would be available for them to start work right away when they opened on my appointment day. I thought there was a good possibility some major electrical components could have failed. I got a call mid-afternoon the day the car was towed, informing me they had already repaired it by replacing the failed battery. They had to reset all the computers, had checked out all the electronics, test drove the car and said everything worked fine. The total bill was less then $200. They could have taken me for a big repair bill and I would have been none the wiser, but I didn't expect them to because I have always found them to be honest, in addition to doing good work and always keeping their promised appointment times. I highly recommend them.
