Don't know what happened. Looks like u got rid of your scale girl who was always holding it down and outworked everyone. A couple years things were great now the office staff sits down all the time and ignorelyou until they finish what they are doing. The place has gone to the birds.
I had a decent trailer load of scrap, including fridges, stoves, swamp coolers, etc. I was looking for a place that I could sell my cans and other stuff and needed it picked up. Roger was GREAT. Someone came out the next morning and we loaded everything. Then I had money waiting on me to go pick up, along with my itemized receipt. The overall process couldn't be more simple. Thanks to the crew! The coolest thing I learned about them is that they are Off grid and use their own electricity, so the service they provide becomes even more beneficial.
I love this place its the best place in tucson its open monday to saturday 9 to 5 pm all days that very cool The girls who work here are very helpful and attentive and help a lot when you are new to this without a doubt I will return to this place and recommend it
Love this place. Especially Saturday's. They r the only ones opened but their employees kick butt and are very personable and inviting. I definitely will go back! If only for the cuties at the scale but they are worth it!!
Please don’t waste you time coming here they don’t pay the value the people that worked there we’re nice but it’s not worth time waiting there on top of that not giving decent value for scrap they rip you off bad
I would strongly recommend going to the scrap metal yard on miracle Mile. This one pays the lowest price as possible you do everything yourself and have to wait in a long line for everybody to unload each vehicle.
I cleaned out my yard then went to the dump but they wouldn't accept all the metal I was getting rid of. So I decided to go to Rodgers place even though I read some bad reviews about this establishment. I was very surprised at how much help I received as I pulled to the window and explained this was my first time. The staff took their time explaining what would make me more money and even though they were busy I was treated like a person. Employees all seem happy there. Go Rodger! This is my new go to place for sure!
They are open later than anyone else in town. The staff is knowledgeable and helps customers out especially those of us who don't know yet what we're doing haha .
They may not always beat the other prices in town but they are consistent and open more often than the others .
The women and men that work here are respectful to everyone including their fellow employees. Easy for payment only the owner handles all transactions. The staff gives receipts then once you locate Boss he pays ya out.
Sara and Alexa helped me out today and I am more than satisfied with their friendly service I will never use any other scrap metal company and only go here for the top notch customer service,. You have a customer for life

A little disorganized, but they close an hour later than everybody else. That's five in the afternoon, and they are even open on Saturdays.

The very worst metal recycling experience of my whole entire life!!! I went in there for some motors and two compressors and some copper and came out with a bunch of damage on my rear quarter panel. The lady backed me up and this is the result of it. Management didn't care at all. Place is a joke!
I love that place it makes me feel like being at home the prices are good and the employees are very courteous and very helpful I won't go anywhere else but there till the day I die scrapping.
I love that place !!! I went on Saturday and there was a long line, but it went fast smoothly and quickly ....they have very good customer service and the prices $$were unbeatable....!!!! especially because they were open on a Saturday after 5:00 .. so I recommend this place to everyone...keep it up you guys ....
Roger and hi team are amazing down to earth people. He gives better money than anybody in town, and super helpful and friendly. I will continue to use his Recycling yard in the near future. My old shop closed up, guess i have a new one!!!
This is a great place to come to sell your scrap metals! It's the only place open until 5pm Mon-Sat! Plus the owner and his wife are good honest people who run a consistent and fair business AND help out the community in many many ways. Several fire departments do their training right there at the scrap yard using the vehicles owned by Scrap Metals Recycling so they are able to save lives later! Why would anyone go anywhere different?
Don’t take ANY of your copper wire here I brought 70 lbs of #1 copper wire insulated no tear and they offered me 58 bucks lmao that’s ridiculous go to SA recycling or CFS copper they’re offering 2.20 at SA n 2.50 at cfs unlike SCRAO METAL RECYCLING they offer $0.80 per pound that’s crazy lol don’t get finessed
I have been scraping here for years. Today I thought to leave another review just in the exceptional customer service Roger and his staff display just today alone. I'd say their prices are fair, they've always been good to me. I know their yard can be messy to drive through and I know they try to keep it clean, I'm sure they do their best, I think it's the customers dumping wherever. The checkout gals are always friendly and helpful. I do a lot of lithium battery work! Find a good buyer guys, good stuff! Cheers.

This is the scrap yard that would be the place to take all your metals too. There worker's are honest hard-working people. The owner is the most Honest guy that that I've ever met. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.i give it a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
I've been going to this scrap yard for nearly 7 years now. I have learned a lot over the years and they've been very helpful. They'v educated me on the different metals, have been patient due to my disability, and have even helped me unload my sheet and prepared. Overall, they have fair prices, they treat people respectfully and employees work very hard, everyday all day!
I’ve been scrapping for 20 years and recently visited this scrap yard, which has been my go-to spot for about 18 years. I brought in at least $100 worth of coils, sealed units, and copper. The place was a mess, and the scale was full, so I relied on the lady there to do the math in her head. She weighed all my materials, which seemed suspicious from the start. In the end, I was only paid $33, which is far below what I expected. Despite the owner being a nice guy, I will never return to this scrap yard again. This experience sucks because I’ve been a loyal customer for so long, but I can’t trust them anymore.
Friendly staff, quick service, and fair pricing. Mr. Rogers was an incredibly nice person and a die hard fan of novelty. So much so that he paid out some of the funds with brand new half dollar coins!!! I'll be coming back to this scrap yard next time I have more stuffs!
Tried this scrap yard as my regular was closed for the holiday. It was busier than I expected and even though I had to wait in line I was greeted by a smiling face and very quickly I was told what to do with my non ferrous vs ferrous. Place had a small business family feel to it. After I saw what customer service could and should be like here now I won't go back to my regular. The girl at the front matched my cooper prices too so I am totally happy with this chabge
