I needed a 2015 ford edge trunk hatch tailgate and bumper assembly. Doug responded in a timely manner and was patient with my mulitple questions. The quote was fair and accurate the first time with delivery address. Shipped a day or two after processing payment. I'll look to them first next time I need auto parts.
It's been a while since I was at the place but I will say Doug was a great help. I didn't call in advance but he was still able to help me get a roof off a vehicle that same day. I have had some over the phone orders with them and the parts were good, as I did order an ECM in one of those orders. I haven't had any issues with pricing as most of the parts were cheaper than the scrap yard prices in PHX
They played my ex and I by confusing her when she went in and selling the car for no money. They will try to give you little money and try to scam you out of it if they can I would recommend finding a different place to sell your car

Went from junkyard to junkyard with no luck of finding what I needed for my 4runner. I came across this place and sure enough had the inventory that no one else had and were super friendly and easy to talk to. Would recommend this place to anyone.

WithCatalina Auto Recycling I had a great experience. The representatives wer amazing, friendly helpful and quick service. After calls to 4 salvage yards and 5 tire shops, I couldn’t find wat I needed. But Catalina Auto Recycling did. I was so relieved. They worked with me on how I was able to pay I will continue to go to them in the future. They r the place to go.
Great place! The customer service was fantastic, they’re super easy to work with. I needed a couple obscure parts for an older vehicle I’m restoring and the gentleman I worked with (I wish I’d gotten his name!) was even kind enough to send me pictures of the items before I picked them up. The prices are also hard to beat. I would absolutely return to this place.
These guys are very good. Got me out of a jam. Phony on line donation sites did not come through even though I made a reservation and checked in.
They managed to get the car, and take care of the paper work in a matter of a few hours after my call.

I stopped in looking for a couple of parts for my old truck. After looking at a list of possible donors, a part puller took me out to take a look. I didn't get his name, but he was very helpful and friendly. They did have one of the two parts I was looking for. What amazed me most, was they were willing to do a trade, as I had ordered a replacement from an online retailer and they were the wrong ones. I hadn't returned them for a refund, but Catalina was willing to trade for the part I needed. Thanks guys, service was quick and friendly.

I found Catalina on ebay searching for 2004 Saturn Vue body parts. I had an inspiration to find my car in my color. They had one! I contacted them through emails and a phone call. Response time was excellent and they surprised me by saying they could text me photos.
I'm two hours away and wanted to go in person. It took me about a month to be able to take a day to go on this mission.
I met Rich and Doug, looked at a few cars, made a list and left them to get them off multiple cars. They called me a couple hours later. I found more than I wanted. I bought more than I planned. It was definitely worth the trip and all the staff were EXCELLENT.
You never know how you'll do with new businesses and Covid has affected some people to the point of crazy. It was great to find people healthy, sane and ready to be part of my little inspired project.

Nice guy behind the counter. Drove 65 miles for parts they showed in inventory but were unable to produce despite Rich's best efforts. Nice guys. Fortunately Jeff's on 4th Ave came through in a pinch.
This place is beyond awesome. Especially Doug. I bought a 91 MR2 in VA while I live in NC, and the car needed a window regulator from them and had it shipped to VA at where the car was. Went to pick up the car and tried to install the window regulator and realized the part was damaged and cannot be installed without heavy modifications, aka in weld. I actually tried some in weld putty but failed, so I emailed these guys about my issue, almost 4 months after I purchased the part. Doug responded to me and I explained to him with the issue and showed him pictures that I attempted to in weld but no luck. He understood that I had to buy another part to finish the repair and promptly refunded me the full amount for the item. These people are doing a great job with their service. Absolutely recommend them.

Nice people but waay overpriced! Check eBay and save yourself a pile of money. I was quoted $50 plus tax on a used visor for a Nissan Altima. E bay has used visors for $15-18 and new visors for $32 both with free shipping. A little FYI for the educated decision makers.
Ive used Catalina Auto several times for parts. They beat the online shops pricing most of the time and are my first stop for good parts these days. Glad to have such a great yard with friendly service in town!
Be CAREFUL !!! when buying electric item. I was sold and ELECTRIC AIR PUMP and said it was good $125. Had my mechanic test it before install. He tested it with a POWER PROBE " One POSITIVE and One GROUND" The pump did not come one. Return it 30 minute later and said " No refund on electric Items " I understand but it was only 30 min ago. Don"t buy from them if you want to trade bad parts for credit.
On 5-18-2016 T approximately 4:30pm I walked in to Catalina Automotive Recyclers in Tucson AZ and spoke to a man by the name of Doug. I asked him for pricing on a Chevrolet engine with tranny. He said $2500 for the 5.3 and $3500 for the 6.0. I said "oh ok I found one in Phoenix for $1900 and I wanted to do some shopping around before I made a purchase. I said that hoping he'd want my business maybe match the price. Or even say sorry we can't do that. But he replied "I deal with high end guys that build $80 k trucks money isn't an object for them. I know you watched Spike and decided you want to buy an engine for $500 dollars. I said yes you're right I am that guy I watched spike and I want that deal. Well I guess I'll just spend my pennies elsewhere :)
Very nice people. I've gotten a couple parts from them and have had them do extensive work (including an engine swap). Everything works great! They do honor their warranties but (depending on the job) offer store credit instead of cash back. This is usually because if a part dies, even if they don't have it, they can get it and install it, so the job will be complete!
Bought a transmission from them, installed it and made a 120 mile trip and had some shifting issues on the way back. Called them and said I had problems they said bring it back and I'll get my cash back as they didn't have another one. Drove all the way there and they offered me store credit.... What kind of crap is that? They are 90 miles from me, to waste my time and hard earned money like that?? Ever heard of customer service????
