Got alignment done once. Had to get it done again( not because of them) theybwere busy and i went to big o. Such a huge mistake i should have waited.. .
Horrible my trucks started off with a bad timing chain I was charged 600 for that! Finally went to pick it up after almost 2 years and the heads and motor are unassembled!!! We will see if I get the heads back since they were at another place! Horrible horrible service!
I have had mechanical work done on my vehicles over the past 5 years and received excellent service. Members of my family have also had their vehicles serviced as well at Save Automotive. Mark has always been fair and honest. I always recommend his shop to friends and family members. Julie
I was charged $95 for a tow and a diagnosis to tell me what I already knew. I asked for a diagnosis of why my fuses were blowing. Twenty minutes after my car was entered into the shop I was called and told that my car had a blown fuse, and Mark did not feel compelled to offer an explanation as to the cause. He insisted that I would have to pay more to know more and then told me it would be a great deal more money to diagnose further electrical issues....Pretty sure the other reviews are created by third parties to promote this terrible shop.
Addendum: after seeing the bad review the owner spoke to the mechanic and passed along an important insight as to the cause of my electrical issue. He informed me that it was a wire grounded to the engine. I originally left one star, but have since increased to three due to the owner making an attempt to properly diagnose my car. I still feel like this mechanic shop was attempting to get away with a half hearted job.
We were recommended to Save Auto by Pepe's Tire shop right down the street when our car needed an alignment. A worker at Pepe's told us that Save has the cheapest alignments, and he was right. However, not only is Save Auto cheap, but they have honest workers and exceptional customer service. Mark, the manager, has actually come to know my husband and I by name, along with knowing which cars are ours. He is the most honest, friendly, and personal mechanic I have ever met. They have helped us with many car issues, and we will gladly take our business there any day.
P.S. This is the only review I've ever written for a business. I hope this helps them get customers, as I feel they are a hidden gem in Tucson!
