Usually a happy customer I’ve been here plenty of times in the past for fast service and fair prices, however as of recent, they have become more unreasonable. Told me they pay the same for 12g copper wire as they do for cat5e. Google it, 12g wire has 3x the copper….I’d shop around before selling to them. Atleast they returned my wire when I realized their mistake.
This place is Great! Open til 6pm except Sundays & bar none always have the best prices for copper & brass! I live in Phx but take the bus if I have to bc that's how good they pay! Highly recommend it over ANY other scrap yard & I've been to em all.
Super easy to deal with, friendly, they were helpful unloading our trailer and they paid in cash.
As of this review at the end of October 2024, they paid:
$0.50/lb for high grade aluminum
$3.40/lb for copper #2 grade
$0.80/lb for dirty copper
$0.25/lb for higher grade stainless.
Best prices around. We had a trailer full of copper, stainless, and aluminum scrap from our business that had piled up over the past several years.
Very efficient unloading the trailer, and the best prices on extruded aluminum and stainless steel I have found.

This place is horrible! The lady there is so disrespectful I don't know why she has a job. She needs to grow up. I will never go there again and I don't recommend it!!!
I have been here 4 times now, and every time they are super helpful and pay fair prices. No hassle, up front with their prices and they always help me unload. Much less chaotic than dodgy prices and funny scales down the street!
I wont go anywhere else. Ive been going here for almost 4 years now. So everyone there is kinda like second family. Really good people. Highly recommend atleast giving them a chance. You wont be disappointed.
They did some shady math on my pay out and they kept my receipt after correcting the 104 lbs of aluminum
I brought to them 194 lbs of clean stainless, 591 of steel and 144 lbs clean aluminum and I received 120$ doesn't seem right
The price wasn’t great, $0.44/lb and they didn’t help me at all with the 15 big bags I had. They didn’t even come out of their garage to greet me, had to hunt them down. They acted like I was an inconvenience to them. Never going there again and I don’t recommend them to anyone EVER!
I just went here for the first time and took 38 lbs of alum cans and a 40lb battery.. Current rate of lead is .44 cents lb. This place paid .8 cents a lb.. All together I left w/ $18.40 total. What a ripoff..
I have been going there for about a year they paid good money then they closed for about a month opened up again and now they’re paying towards the bottom of the pay scale $.40 a pound can you believe it?

Place was great. My fiance and I were in a time crunch and thankfully we had enough time to fly over, we had initially planned to go to a place next door however mistakenly found this place. It was pretty cool a worker had seen my fiance at the end of the line and came to assist him. Needless to say we were in in and out of they're in less then 5 minutes. We will most definitely be back. The timing, and weight factor of a full 5lb bucket, the youngster.choose to ding me not only .60/lb but also an entire grade for my copper. Additionally I had to insist on a receipt as none had been offered. This would be the place to sell the stolen stuff ..no one had been asked to produce an identification while I was there
This place ripped me off but I was tired of dealing with the scrap. $1.83 for 61 pounds of mostly stainless steel custom made fixtures with a few pounds of other metals. Threw it all on the scale and said 3 cents a pound. First time scrapping, I'm sure there are lots of tricks and hints to maximize but I think they preyed on me not knowing anything. Just because you can, doesn't mean it's right.
I went today for my first time at this scrap yard after calling to check prices (which they lied about over the phone, I was quoted a higher price and paid lower on almost everything) and the only thing that was a better price than anywhere else was the aluminum can price... I had taken in brass 17 pounds of clean brass (I have been scrapping metals for over a decade, I know what I had) and 7 pounds of dirty brass I had them sorted and put them on the scale separately and the worker told me it was all dirty brass and weighed it all together and only paid 50 cents a pound 24 pounds for a total on that of $12 I have never in my life seen prices this low on brass... Other things were average priced (aluminum, electric motors, and copper were about the same price as everywhere else) I will not bring anything more than my aluminum cans here from now on
Small and simple, they make you feel very comfortable and they pay competitive prices. Open later than the other guys, and 7 days/ wk. Currently paying $1/lb for cans, the place next door only paid .40c they pay you with a smile, this is my ONLY scrap yard from now on! Go there, you will be glad you did!
I took a dismantled shed and got $30. Paid more than the garage. I arrived he got on the fork loft and brought me a bin. He made me pay attention when he zeroed out the scale.. Told me pounds and price the he ran to another window and paid me.
Fair and honest competitive pricing super experience.
Went out of their way to help me at the end of the day and even stayed 10 minutes after they're quitting time to make sure I was taken care of. All my business comes here and yours should too!
A great experience . They are a smaller company but there is nothing small about their customer service . They pay competitive prices and they are fair and honest. I highly suggest to take your recycling to Olmos recycling . They are open later than most and 7 days a week.
