What clients say about All City Towing in Chandler (AZ)
We were told we could pick up our car on a Sunday for a fee, but when we got here they would not get our car out because we had Power of Attorney - which they only honor during business hours. Such a ridiculous and illegal policy. Not to mention, everyone we spoke to was your run-of-the-mill tow yard call-center brand of rude and awful. They found the careers they were made for!
I would give less than one star if I could. The little lady at the front desk was so difficult to talk to. Every time I went to ask or answer a question she talked over me. She talked in circles and contradicted what documents and information I needed to provide. She had no compassion on me or anyone else in the shop at the time, which was several hours. She was rude, inconsiderate and confusing. People come into the tow shop after their car has been crashed and most don’t know the rules or expectations. I was shocked and disgusted at the costumer service given to me and others in this difficult situation. They make you provide more legal documentation to prove this is your own vehicle than the DMV does, and it’s never enough. I had to continuously find and show proof of document after document even after I was told they just needed one more thing. And again I’d like to emphasize, it was impossible to get a word or question in edge wise with this lady. I felt bullied honestly. All I needed to do was pick up my belongings from my crashed vehicle and the lady made it so difficult for me I left the shop worried I’ll never get my stuff. If you have any say in the matter, do not get your vehicle towed to this location. I think they may intentionally make it so difficult so they can profit off of people’s cars by their own unclear communication on how to pick up your car or your belongings. I hope an owner or manager sees this review and can retrain employees on communication and a little patience and understanding with costumers. Or maybe just fire that very rude lady. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Went on a Sunday and the dispatcher said an hour to hour 1/2 so I was driving around within the area if I would have know there was somebody there I would have stayed on the property, which she never told me to stay on the property. So I got charged and extra $50 she said we looked in the cameras you left. Becareful they scam you like that and was very disrespectful and yelled at me
Worst experience ever I got my car in pounded for 20 days and I want to go to retrieve my car. They wouldn’t let me and they gave me a different paper and over the phone. They are just rude and they are not useful or try to work with you and now I have lost my car. It really sucks that they don’t try to work with you at all. They just want your money. and just add on to more fees it’s ridiculous
Slow.......... They only let one person go back at a time so my wife had some heavy stuff so again takes more time. They don't care or respect of your time. Yet they try and get you to sign paperwork for them so in the future it will save them time. Staff was polite but not flexible in any way. Plan at least an hour to get your property out of you vehicle and you have to do it yourself no help from friend or significant other.
All City towing in Chandler Elizabeth is so professional her work ethics calmed my wife down from anxiety. They are professional and I am impressed with how kind they were and how they made us both comfortable thank you Elizabeth and staffs. You're awesome. 😊👍
This place is actually a scam. I get when it is after hours and they are willing to accommodate and provide an after hour service. But the lies and disrespect I have received when trying to get a car back and waiting over 2+ hours is horrible. Do not recommend Edit: there is no communication either. The kind tow truck driver really helped us out but on the office side they lacked communication and did not offer help
I had my tire blow in the middle of the road and managed to pull over but still stuck on the road. I was so greatful to have an officer see me and call me a tow truck. All city towing was there within 30 minutes and the nice gentleman Anthony was very kind. He picked up my car, towed it to my house, offered my brother a job and let my son have an experience of a life time unloading the car. Best part, it only cost me $12
Insanely slow. It’s like they are sucking the life force out of you. Slowly draining your soul. They get more enjoyment out of wasting your time than helping others. I’ve been here for 2 hours and was the 4th person in line (still here). And every single person has left in a bad mood. Writing this review is the only thing making the situation tolerable. I would love to take photos of the expressions of peoples faces here.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ When picking up your vehicle, make sure you request to see it BEFORE handing over hundreds of dollars to retrieve it. This company works with all police departments for impounded vehicles. They just want the money. They DO NOT tell you the condition of the vehicle before handing over your money. I called a head of time to find out the damages on the vehicle & they said they can't tell that over the phone. I was doing a favor picking up a vehicle for a family member who wasn't aware of the damages. Obviously, I didn't either. But the tow yard did, since they tow it and keep track of their impounded vehicles in their computer database. BUT, they were silent about the condition and just took all the money without warning that the vehicle wasn't even drivable and it is totaled completely. Hard lessons learned that shady companies are out there just wanting money. No morals or compassion when someone spends almost $1000 to retrieve a totaled vehicle.
What a god awful experience this place is. It’s like they intentionally punish you for being in an accident you didn’t even cause. Crash happened Thursday night, came here Friday around noon. After spending about 45min waiting I’m finally helped. Inform the counter person that it’s not my car, but I was driving when the accident happened and I’m trying to get both mine and the owners stuff. Another 20min goes by, and I’m finally informed despite having the registration I can’t access the vehicle because the owner isn’t here. I’ve mentioned I am not the owner about three different times leading up to this. I’m told to come back tomorrow, Saturday. And we’ll be able to get our belongs + remove the stereo system from the car. Oh wouldn’t you know it, they’re closed Saturday! But for $50 and a 1hr wait someone can come and let us in to give us access to grab our belongings. Very cool! Totally not a money generating con at all! Cue Monday, we are here, to grab our stuff. Well, so we thought. Can’t grab the stereo setup because it’s attached to the car completely negating what I was told Friday. And also just to really make us wait, we both can’t access the vehicle to make sure we have our personal belongings, we can only go one at a time. I’m really enjoying typing this sitting in this 90° building while I wait my turn. Hoping this experience is all just part of a whacky dream from the coma I’m currently in from the accident. To make a long story short, you’re better off just setting your car on fire on the side of the 202 instead of coming here.
I was car pooling to work and parked in the wrong spot, one spot next to where I was supposed to park. So my car was towed. I accept responsibility and paid the ridiculous $255 fee. However when they returned my car, the driver window was gone!, my batteries completely dead (1yo old battery) , and they left paint on the wind shield. They did nothing to jump start my car, fix window, or remove their paint.
I was lied to when I was told to come pick up my car when I bring in all documents requested that prove I am the owner of my car that I agreed to have towed only due to my minor fender bender residential street accident only one block from my home. I brought in all that I was asked. I had my mechanic all scheduled to go pick it up and when I went in to pay and get it out I was informed I cannot because I am not the registered owner. How did they change their mind in just a few hours later? Oh well they said their call center mis informed me. I must be the registered owner. I explained I inherited it when my mom died and it is still registered to her in the state of WV. It will be about another 3 weeks to get it re titled into my name. The lady at the desk had acted excited like she sees dollar signs cha chinging in het head cus thats 24.00 per day my car sits there. I asked for my garage door opener, and mail box key and registreation papers from the car and nope. Not registered on title in AZ i get nothing from it. If i stole this car from my deceased parents why did the Chandler police let me go? Or why is it not reported stolen? I had the death certificate, and executor of estate and everything i was asked to bring in. They want well over 1000.00 from me thus far and the duplicate title ordered is not here yet. All city towing in Chandler will be sued.
I was in a minor accident one block from my home the officer on seen recommended I have my car towed even though it was drivable. But due to a piece of fender slightly rubbing the tire i said okay. The tow company will not let me have my car back this entire time since April 16th. I explained the reason I'm not on title is because my mom died and I inherited the car. The estate was in probate a long time and I am working on getting title changed over. All city towing asked me to bring in all kinds of docs proving it's my car. I immediately brought in every single item they asked proving I am the owner but when I brought it in they changed their mind saying they want me to be on title. I said it's gonna be another 2 to 3 weeks at least and I don't want to have to pay 25.00 per day when I really didn't even have to have it towed to them. I tried to speak to a supervisor but clerk doesn't get him stating he will just tell me the same thing. ACT told me that they were given a title from the dmv and so now the car is there's. It's MY car. The only thing I am guilty of is driving it without ins. It is insured now. I have already been punished for no ins. How can they take my car? My mom didn't leave it to them when she died. The car and title is from WV and it's been hell to get what they call a duplicate title and I can't begin to tell you what I been through to get the title. First thing I did was pay off the loan on the car. The car still values at 17k per blue book and has low mileage. So All City Towing lies to get it easily with ADOTs help by saying it was abandoned. Even though i been calling and in their office. They never called me to say they need me to come get the car. They couldn't. I was already there trying. . YSo they always knew it was my car and had the proof but still lied and told ADOT that the car was abandoned and that the police found it on the street. It sickens me to know that AC towing has been stealing cars in this manner and all while they got Chandler PD in their back pocket too. I have never seen such blatant corruption.
Anthony was an amazing help and got me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Speaks to everyone with respect and understands the struggle that each of us go through when our car has been towed. Highly recommend some kind of bonus or raise for this man he definitely deserves it with his attitude and being able to handle anything that comes his way.
I didn’t know what to expect from a towing company, but after my wreck they handled everything very well. When I went to retrieve my belongings the guy drove me out to the lot in a golf cart, taking care to go slow because I was still hurting. He helped me empty the car and made sure I didn’t miss anything. The front desk people were nice and pleasant. There was even money in the car that didn’t go missing. I was very happy with the experience.
I had to get my husband's motorcycle out of their lot after an accident. Since I wasn't on the title or registration, I had to get a letter with some info on the motorcycle written and notarized. I spoke with Anthony, I believe. He made sure I had a list of everything I would need. Read him the letter I had ready to go and all I needed was the plate number which was added. We were able to get the motorcycle later that day and the process was so smooth because of how prepared I was because of Anthony telling me everything I needed beforehand. Thank you Anthony, and All City Towing for helping me during such a stressful time.
The person on the phone said the fine was $215, when I got there she told me it would be $270, I didn't want to, she quickly changed her mind and charged me $230, it's ridiculous!
This is a big towing company 8n the Phoenix area. I have been doing business with them since 1991. Great response time and dedicated drivers give towers a really good name. All-City is truly ALL CITIES in the valley. You can trust this lot, the security is fantastic. The employees are accommodating and friendly. They deal with folks who have been in accidents all day long every day, they are pros. They will accommodate you to the best of their ability. When you see those tow trucks at accidents they are very important. The all city drivers are good guys and busy. Truly "Johnny on the Spot". Thanks again All City!
Most friendly and helpful staff that I’ve ever experienced at a tow shop. Caught me by surprise but so glad this is where it was towed to!
Needed to get belongings from vehicle. We don't have a vehicle any more so we had one chance to get belongings and we couldn't. They filed for transfer of ownership 10 days after towing. Before we could even ask Judge to b release car
I never thought I would leave a towing company a 5-star review as all of my experiences in the past with other companies have been negative due to being towed/booted in a college town. I totaled my Tesla and All city towing was the company called after the accident as they are contracted with the city of Chandler. I called the next day to see if I could retrieve some items from my car and they let me right in and were very helpful & accommodating of my requests. The guy in the yard drove me out to my car in a golf cart and helped me break into my Tesla since it didn’t have any power after the wreck and wouldn’t open. The other guy in the yard came over and helped too and I had a good chat with them. Very positive experience in light of an unfortunate life event.
Talk about a saving Grace!!!! A big shout out to Ms Elizabeth at the front desk. Not only did she have all the answers to my ridiculousness, but an EXCEPTIONAL customer service experience at a tow yard blew my mind..... Thank you Elizabeth
The people are very professional and very informative. The waiting area is air conditioned and has a vending machine. There are about three windows (behind plexiglass with a speaking hole in the middle that makes understanding each other easier).
HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Rudest Tow truck driver I've ever been associated with. Unhelpful and definitely uncaring. My son had an accident with his 66 mustang which we restored as a father and son project. He was very upset and obviously had a rough day. The police officer said that they would tow it to my house for an extra fee, which I was happy to pay. When the driver arrived I asked him if he could please put it on the back of the tow truck and drive it to my house he said "I don't care what you want, I'm gonna do it my way." and walked off. Unbelievable that this company is still in business with that type of service. Worst experience of any business I have ever been associated with. I would give zero stars if possible.
Staff is very professional. The key to a good experience is come prepared with drivers license and proof of ownership. If you don't have your title or registration, ask your insurance company to email you your MVR. The titled owner(s) are the only ones that can access the yard. They are protecting the owners property rights.
My Property Management company where I live is contacted with this company. If someone parks in my parking space or behind my garage, I have to call this company. It is rare they come in less than an hour and most of the time it is two plus hours. The last time I called them it took almost 45 minutes just for them to answer my call. When they did, I calmly expressed my concerns and they were completely unapologetic and curt in their response. I only use this company because I have to. I would not recommend someone voluntarily using this company.
Conner assisted me with getting back into my car when I came to pick it up. He was knowledgeable and professional. He's a very good asset for All City Towing. What a nice young man.
I know that if you are making use of these folks that you are probably stressed at having your car towed and impounded. I want to say that the people here were extremely kind to me and my wife when our son's car was impounded. They gave me excellent advice and were very polite and understanding. It's not their fault that your car was impounded, but they make the pickup and retrieval as pleasant an experience as possible. I want to thank them for their courtesy and help.
Do NOT recommend at ALL! **Attention Management** Your answering staff is completely rude. I was on the phone with your reps Rosa and when asking the price after your 2 hr port to port policy she didn’t know the answer and put me on hold for over 15 min. I called back and another rep answered I told him the situation and he said ok hold we are trying to figure it out. Once again after holding for 10-15 min the call was disconnected. I thought maybe my call had dropped and I called again. The third rep Sonia answered after going over my info again. I explained I just want to set the tow up plz. She didn’t even say she was going to put me on hold and did so. Shortly after the call was disconnected. She hung up on me! Very disappointed and disgusted with their service.
