Had a great experience at this AutoZone thanks to the manager, Joshua. He was incredibly helpful and genuinely knowledgeable, especially when it came to my Mercedes. He took the time to help me choose the right oil and filters instead of just pointing at the shelf and sending me on my way. You can tell he actually knows cars and cares about doing things correctly. This is the kind of service that keeps people coming back. Huge thanks to Joshua for making the process easy and stress-free.

I did want to say that young kid outside I forget his name he was working the cart changing somebody's battery he was great. And the guy that did read my sensor just now afterwards I asked if he could just unhook my battery real quick just like one side and then plug it back in or whatever you do. let's just say I've never been to an AutoZone where they didn't help me. I wasn't asking for much just unhook the battery on the negative wait a couple minutes and redo it. The battery was bought here it just doesn't make much sense they put batteries in cars
Never going back to this store again. Terrible service. Lazy employees. Went there for a brake light and was told the couldn’t help me figure out which bulb it was and wouldn’t help me try to get the cover off. Went across the street to O’Reilly and they had it done on 10 minutes. Highly recommend going anywhere but Autozone!
Not sure if there’s a less knowledgeable person about car batteries in this world than Damon. He will tell you your car battery is bad just to get you to buy a new one and go home. This store consistently delivers terrible service when you need anything beyond taking simple orders. At least they’re consistent.
Stopped in thinking I needed a new battery, based on the sound my car was making on starting. I was correct (it was over 3 years old! Unheard of in the desert SW.). I was met at the counter by Orlanda, who is apparently new. With the help of Rayne, my battery was checked, failed, and replaced. I was impressed by Orlanda's willingness to help me and to learn, and Rayne's teaching style. Rayne guided Orlanda without doing the work for her, patiently and plainly explaining each step and the "why" behind it. I realized some people might be impatient and annoyed with the "on the job training," but I was happy to see it DOES still exist, and even happier with the dynamic. Well done, all the way around!
Huge thanks to Rene at AutoZone for his help in 2023! When Jiffy Lube messed up my oil change, he guided me to the right fix. Honest, fast, and super helpful. Highly recommend! Always a great experience at AutoZone.
Joshua and Fernando are super stars!!! We went in to the store to buy a new battery and needed help installing it, they were amazing going the extra step and figuring out how to take the old difficult battery off that gave them hell but they kept at it and were able swap them out. Thanks again guys, your the best.
My car started breaking down and my help was across town. So I stopped in and let's just say, Joshua definitely deserves a raise! He was SUPER!!! He was so kind made me feel like it was no trouble at all, said I had nothing to feel bad about and he was genuinely happy to help! He helped me scan the car for free and helped me figure out was was wrong with it and offered for me to stay inside while my dad came cause it was hot. So kind and helpful! Definitely top notch customer service!
Manager on duty today 10/4/2025 has no customer service skills at all. Terrible manager. I returned an item. Manager asked for a receipt. Told him receipt was sent to a email. Manager proceeded to get upset and stated the item returned does not have an email. I told him he was the one who helped me this morning and I had a telephone number as well. This manager begins to argue with me . What a jerk. I give him my card used for the purchase already angered by his accusations. He then tells me I can give you a receipt and you can go elsewhere to get your refund. I calmed down just so I can get my refund. I walk out while saying get some customer service skills “manager”. I will no longer shop at Auto Zone.
Damon was SO helpful and kind today changing out my battery! It was absolutely refreshing to find such great customer service, and he made the process so easy. I'm thankful for his help today and making it a personal experience.
Came in not knowing what I needed as I’m not driving my Own car and Joshua was FANTASTIC. So helpful and even added the oil to my car. Super grateful for his quick service.
I shopped AutoZone Tempe on Ray near McClintock for about three decades. Friendly services are the norm, but this one really made my day. When I arrived to the back of store to dump the used oil, a courteous employee offered to dump the used engine oil. Then he searched and found me near the shelves of fresh oil area to tell me that the 5-gallon jar is new and still has the seal. I am very impressed with the honesty and dedicated employee.
I needed a battery checked, it was very low power.... Demian was so careful to explain to me the measurements and he changed my car battery just before the store closed!!! Great service and I went home with a new battery to be safe!!!

Joshua is knowledgeable and extremely helpful, he fixed up my corroded battery with a replacement, suggested small parts to prevent future corrosion and swapped my terminal setup! I would 110% recommend Josh to anyone that visits!
Of course my battery starts to act up on a 114 degree day. Made my way to 2 Auto Zone’s and landed at one that could fully assist. Damon was awesome!’ Advised on the battery to get and installed it. Maintained a cheerful and positive demeanor throughout the process. Great customer service!
I had a bad battery that probably would have died in the morning. David (I think he was the manager) was so kind to me! I was so worried I'd have to take it home and have someone else intstall it. He installed it for me so fast! And here he was working on other cars in the heat! What a trooper! David was my Angel! I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes! Thank you so much! Josh was amazing in helping me get my car battery replaced. It was not a typical “easy” install due to the battery location, but he volunteered to take it on instead of making me take it to a shop. He saved me a lot of time and hassle. I cannot recommend Josh and this location enough.

I was in your location at Ray and McClintock in Chandler. I received excellent customer service from your representative and manager, August. I spent less than $10. That was because he gave me an honest assessment to my needs. He solved the problem quickly and did not oversell. It is his service and quick response most all are looking for at any store, but especially a car parts store.
I know I will be back, and have confidence in this stores answers to my automotive needs.
Went to Auto Zone bought some fix a flat didn't work so Tyler the assistant store manager changed my tire for me. He was awesome. I appreciate what he did for me great customer service!
My battery failed the test when I got an oil changed so I stopped at Auto Zone tonight to have to checked. Sure enough, it was bad. Luckily it was still under warranty and so I was able to get it changed out. Brandon helped me with that and did a wonderful job! Mike was also very helpful. They checked my lights and helped change out my wiper blades. Overall, I was very pleased with the level of customer service I received. Thanks you guys for the help!
The Workers really know what their talking he helped My Significant other with her Car I really appreciate that and everyone that goes there will see that they know what to do or what to tell about your car if it needs work or you can fix it your self if it’s a hard job or something you need to take to a shop if they can’t help you with it I really appreciate that thank you Kindly Auto Zone keep up all the great work from amazing employees.
The guys at this AutoZone go above and beyond everytime I've been here. Today I needed new windshield wipers, I stopped in and was immediately greeted, asked how my day was going and if there was anything they could help with. I said I needed new wiper blades and didn't want to spend much since they'll just dry rot and fall off in 2 more years. The man helping me was very understanding, found me good, inexpensive wiper blades, and even took the time to install them for me. It took longer to write this review than to be in and out of this AutoZone! The store is always clean, everything is always easy to find (the last time I was here for a dead battery) and the staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend this store to anyone with auto parts needs.
