Failed emissions. I went into Chandler West Auto and Matt told me what to do. Fill the tank, drive to Vee Quiva Casino. Must drive 65 or above. Park in garage and turn off car and remove keys. Went into casino and played for twenty minutes. Hit for $150.00!!!!!! Love Matt and Chandler West Auto. Passed emissions!
Matt and Jordan were amazing! We got an oil/filter change fluids checked. Brakes checked. Prices fair. Service great! Cleanest garage we've seen! Very knowledgeable and helpful with some of our unique needs. We appreciate their time. We will be back.

I was having issues with my battery draining overnight, which lead to not being able to run my car through emissions. I was super worried it was the alternator. Chandler West Auto was able to take a look at it and find the issue was the battery cables not being secure enough from when it was last hooked up. Whew! Matt explained what to look for on my make of car (Toyota) to make sure it was connected correctly to avoid that happening again. So now its off to emissions testing! It was good to speak to a technician directly, you don't get that at the dealerships. Plus I got to me Buckley and Daisy!
Oh, how I wish we had found Matt years ago!! I took my car into another popular auto shop here in ahwatukee for a routine oil change and inspection this past week. This other auto shop came back to me stating that I needed 4-5 services done that would have cost me over $1600!! My boyfriend found Matt online, and he agreed to give us another opinion the very next day.
After only driving my car into the service bay, Matt laughs and exclaims, "There's nothing wrong with this car!!" Not only did he save me an entire month's worth of rent, but he then took the next hour out of his clearly busy day to explain and physically show me on my car the proposed issues and why they did not need fixing! My boyfriend and I learned so much!!

While experiencing an extremely oil leak on my Mazda. I took my vehicle to Chandler West for inspection. I was terrified to trust a new mechanic seeing I just moved to Az. I talk to Matt and he not only reassured me he’d find the problem, he guaranteed exceptional service. After all his hard work and efforts he let me know it was a manufactured issue. The United States of America needs more places like this place. Respectful establishment who will always get my business whenever I have car troubles. If anyone is curious about this place, think no further because they will get the job done. I worked with Matt and he was able to get my car fixed in all of 10 minutes. Great straight up guy.
Last year I had issues with my Jeep Liberty and called by chance because I didn’t have a designated mechanic. I was worried that I would lose my vehicle but when I got there, I was assured that my vehicle would be okay after a few repairs and consistent upkeep. The issues were explained to me in ways I could understand and all the issues were resolved. This year I ran into unexpected difficulties with my vehicle and took the bus to see Matt which was the first time I met him in person. I explained what I was going through and he went above and beyond to assist me with resolving the issues. In his own words, “sometimes it’s not as bad as it seems.” I would definitely recommend Matt and his team for the level of care and service provided.
Highly recommend Matt and his team. I brought my truck in for repairs and to figure out why it wouldn't start, when all the "normal things" to check for were all in working order. They combed through it to find the "electric gremlin" causing the issue. They found it. They fixed it. And were extremely communicative throughout. Honest. Fair. And thorough. I'll definitely be back.
Had issues with a work truck that failed emissions 4 times which included mechanic shops between visits. Firestone couldn't figure it out even the emissions people were stumped why it was having problems. Matt here at West Chandler Auto Repair figured out the cause pretty much as quick as he popped his head in the truck. He was beyond helpful and did a job the big guys couldn't figure out in basically no time. He was a life saver, this shop is amazing. I will never take my vehicles work or personal anywhere else again. Super knowledgeable kind, courteous, immaculate service here, highly recommend this shop!

Yet again, Matt gave the no BS service I look for—and hooked me up with a quick fix too. Guy really knows his stuff and isn’t pushy on unnecessary repairs.
While waiting, overheard him telling another customer about a $50 full synthetic oil change, so I’ll be heading back soon for that.

Matt worked on my '96 Grand Cherokee, I'm happy with the results. It's tough to work on older vehicles -- parts can be hard to find, fixing one thing can cause other old parts to break (like hoses). Matt put in the effort to do the job right, even tho it took time to get the parts/etc. Some things I thought needed to be done turned out to not be needed at this time, which was nice to find out -- and even nicer to save the money (for now). Will do business with him again.

I accidentally walked into this mechanic shop, and the owner asked me to leave, mentioning I was trespassing. The way he spoke to me was quite rude and not the best way to handle potential customers. I felt embarrassed by how the situation was addressed. A little kindness and understanding would have made a big difference
I walked into the lobby to ask about a diagnostic quote and the service advisor was immediately short with me, condescending, talked down to me, and wouldn’t answer my questions in a remotely helpful way. I’m confident I asked in a polite and non confrontational way. I was seeking information about the potential costs depending on the results of the diagnosis and he was extremely rude responding to me. This was the most convenient place for me to get a diagnosis but for seemingly no reason at all he ruined my chances of doing business here. I wouldn’t trust a shop that treats people like this, especially when they are seeking reasonable information about the service that the shop provides.
This is hands down the best mechanic shop in the valley my work van A/C went out because of a bad belt tensioner. A different shop quoted me an astronomical price I could not afford. Matt, was able to get me back on the road for a fraction of the cost plus did a bunch of other things my van needed. This is my mechanic for life now honest people.
Took my vehicle to an auto parts store as it was taking a bit to get started and figured it was due for a new battery. Auto parts store tested my vehicle and said battery was good and issue was the starter. Came to Chandler West and they retested the battery. Ended up the battery really was the issue. Chandler West went above and beyond to get the battery replaced and I left with great peace of mind. I will be bringing all of our vehicles here and will be recommending them to everyone!
I've spent MONTHS and many many dollars with another company trying to diagnose why our Honda's battery kept dying and they figured it out within an hour and easily swapped out a $30 part! This team knows what they're doing and I definitely recommend them!
