I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at O’Reilly Auto Parts, specifically with Paul. I run a business and have a commercial account, so I spend a significant amount of money here. When I came in, he was rude, dismissive, and wouldn’t even take the time to properly look up my commercial account so I could receive my pricing.
There was no effort to help, no professionalism, and no sense that my business mattered. As someone who relies on parts stores regularly, customer service is everything — especially for commercial customers.
Because of this interaction, I won’t be dealing with him again. Management seriously needs to address how commercial accounts are handled, because this level of service is unacceptable.
Disappointed. I used a $5 reward towards my purchase that an employee told me was the correct part. The website said it didn't fit, so I verified with him 3 times, and he confirmed it was the right part. It was not the right one. Brought it back the same day. Just wanted to exchange it, which they did, but I then had to pay $5 more for the new one, b/c the reward wouldn't transfer over. (The new one cost extra and I have no issue with paying the difference.) I'm not hard up for 5 bucks, but its a matter of customer service and principle. What if it was $20? Or a gift card? They shouldn't give me a credit if they don't want me to redeem it. I went to O'Reilly BECAUSE I had that credit. If an employee / computer makes a mistake, why do I have to pay more? From my point of view I had the hassle of driving back and forth 2 more times, and the delay because of the mistake.
Open til 11 saved my windshield wiper replacement fail at home! Came in and Joe was awesome, friendly, and helped me when I failed again installing the wipers. Definitely coming back to this location!
Manager Andrew was asked about price matching a part. Said that the part wasn’t comparable because the the brand import direct is a premium brand which is actually their house brand. He said it couldn’t be price matched and said the it’s corporate policy. Asked for proof his response was “I’m not going to argue all day with you”. I currently hold a commercial account with Oreillys and I felt like an unwanted stranger for the first time in almost 8 years doing business. So people just soy out know. Duralast brand is apparently not comparable to import direct as stated verbally by Mr Andrew.
Let me tell you! Jasmine in Chandler on S. Arizona Ave needs the Gold Star award for customer service! Last week we were in need of a battery. We searched everywhere, but to no avail, we couldn't find one. We looked online, it said O'Reilly's had it, but when she put it in, it was smaller than ours. We couldn't drive around because our battery was COMPLETELY dead. She did EVERYTHING to get the car to start, and nothing work. But she was determined not to give up.
After over 3 attempts, exhausting all resources, she got us going! Her determination was BAR NONE. I didn't feel a Thank you was enough, so I gave her a BIG OLE' HUG! ( I hope she didn't think I had the cooties!
With the ever revolving door on who to trust in the auto repair industry O’Reilly has always been good to me. At this particular location the assistant manager Kal was spectacular. Very helpful, very patient and professional. They had mechanic experience and suggested things to look for in the future. I definitely will be back to see Kal, he made me feel very comfortable and confident.
STEPHEN is the BEST!!! He went above and beyond to help me after trying to find the right windshield wipers for my car. We’re leaving on a road trip tomorrow and I’m driving my two little kiddos and wanted to make sure we were safe. After trying at 2 other places that didn’t have the right ones, we found Stephen and he saved the day and spent time getting us the right ones. I had a lot of bad experiences today and he really ended my day on a positive note. He was also so friendly and kind. Thank you so much Stephen! You made my day, not just with the wipers, but with your kindness!!
After a misadventure with being sold the wrong part twice in Tempe after having an issue with my left turn blinker, I was sent to this location for the right part. The assistant manager, Kal, was super helpful in replacing the part, telling me which part I needed, and even assisted with the refund for the part I was sold in Tempe. Definitely coming to this location over the Tempe location from now on.
As an entrepreneur ypu need to be able to go when it's time to go and get the job done. Kal made sure that was possible. He went above and beyond my expectations! I truly appreciate his patience and willingness to help me in my time if need. His attentiveness to stellar customer service is to be commended. I will seek out O'Reilly for any future needs and pray that their are more "Kal's" in the road if I can't get back to this location. Thanks again Kal you were definitely the highlight of the night!!!
A round of applause and standing ovation is a must for KAL!!! His attention to detail, his willingness to repeatedly go the extra mile was impressive. His customer service at almost closing time beyond OUTSTANDING!!! Auto Zone just lost me!!! Good Job Kal! GREAT Customer Kal! Greatest personality I have EVER come across in the Automotive Industry. Jonathan was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to get me back on the road!! Thank you Jonathan!! Your help made such a big difference!! Plus this is the only auto parts place open until 11pm! The customer service at this location is the reason this is the ONLY place I will go for anything automotive!
Gustavo is the best employee I have seen in any auto parts store anywhere in the country. Humble, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I would hire him in a second, and made an uncomfortable experience better (don't know what I'm talking about but know what I need to do). Pay this guy more!

Headlight went out, needed a new one. I stopped here Gustavo the manager help me pull the bulb and figure out what replacement I needed. Really nice, knowledgeable and intelligent. Stayed with me till both bulbs were replaced. If you need help this is the place to go!
Imagine my surprise when I found out the Arizona Avenue store stays open late! It was a lifesaver. We rolled in with a dead car AC and luckily, they had everything I needed to have our mechanic fix it. The next day, our mechanic whipped it back into shape. No more sweltering or worse in this 115+ degree heat for us!
Received help from Gustavo. Guy was professional, helpful, and was able to get me the battery and tools I needed. Highly recommend this location if you have questions or need tools.
This place is a joke. I asked if there was anyone who helps with putting in a turn signal bulb cause at autozone they do. Jerry was very aggressive and said only if it’s easy. So, I was like ok. I just need the turn signal fixed on my grandfathers van. As soon as the sale was done “sebas” the kid with the huge hickey on his neck ran off very quickly and Jerry was on the phone and turned his back to me. Save yourself the trouble and just go to autozone.
Staff is extremely helpful! Especially Gilbert. He has helped me a few times and has been very professional and reliable. Definitely will be coming back to this location whenever I need parts or support.
Excellent spot. Eric did not hesitate to help me install a battery on my vehicle. Gave me some great tips since I wanted to do it myself but never had done so. This young gentleman was patient and had a great attitude. Thank you.
Newly opened location. Larger inventory it seems. Good staff. Had what i needed clayblock and rubbing compounds in stock. Same parking lot as walmart and del taco. VERY close to 202 at the arizona exit.
