I just found this place mayb a month ago , cuz they had good reviews working with my extended warranty company . Which was a HUGE hassle in 2022. They made things happen so fast I was super impressed w the interest Keith took in my vehicle, even made sure my warranty company got me a rental in a timely fashion as well.
I'm back today for a couple other issues separate from the original issue , but it's cuz I felt like this place wasn't scamming me , they communicated every step of the way, answered every question I had thru out the process as well, and that's why I'm back!
I hope after this week I don't have to see Keith for awhile , but I'll def be back here if I have to get my car worked on again
This is a long overdue review. Debated writing it but recently finding our cabin air filter incorrectly put back in made me feel like we needed to speak up. We went in for an oil change based on all the good reviews here and noticed that the cover for under our car wasn't properly secured so it was dragging on the road. Not sure what happened to the screws but we ended up just securing it ourselves with zipties. Could be a coincidence but our tpms sensor light suddenly lit up, as well. Additionally, a couple months later, I remembered that they had mentioned that our cabin air filter needed changing and I decided to check it today to find that the air filter has been improperly out back in and was bent (see pic). They had also mentioned our struts, control arms, and sway bar needed replacing which we're glad now we didn't follow through with them...
Disappointing Experience with Poor Communication and Price Transparency. I have been going to this shop since I moved to Arizona. Initially, I had issues with them not wanting to honor the coupons on their website or seemingly disapproving of them. Additionally, they generally take a very long time—usually 1 to 2 hours or more—for a scheduled oil change.
My recent issue is that they’ve recommended replacing the same part for the third time, without reviewing ticket history to see if there’s a deeper cause. When I brought this up, they said they’d need to do a deeper inspection, which would cost several hundred dollars. This in-depth approach should have been recommended initially instead of doing the same repair repeatedly—unless it’s a tactic to increase revenue or reflect well on the front staff’s performance metrics.
On a separate occasion, I mentioned I’d already read the error code myself and planned to clean the affected part to see if it would clear the code. They went ahead and checked it anyway during a battery replacement, charging me over $200 for a full diagnostic on the code I had already identified. I ended up paying over $500, even though I had clearly communicated I planned to handle the cleaning myself. Previously, another staff member would always call me before performing any additional work, allowing me to approve it in advance. This time, I was hit with a surprise cost, which caused significant distrust, especially given the recurring recommendation for a repair that hasn’t resolved the issue.
When I tried calling, the representative repeatedly told me about having “five tickets in front of him” and implied that checking my vehicle history was a hassle. He also mentioned that older tickets were stored on separate servers rather than being readily accessible, which surprised me. In this day and age, everything should be cloud-synced, not on local hard drives. This raises a serious concern about both their record-keeping and security practices.
Finally, I had mentioned that I could find the battery they replaced for around $100 at Home Depot, but their cost was over $200—a steep markup. The person I dealt with, Keath, seemed unwilling to answer my questions or assist with my vehicle concerns from the first call to the in-store interactions.
Overall, these experiences have led me to lose trust in this shop. Going forward, I plan to consider mobile mechanics who can offer more transparent and customer-oriented service.
Edit: I still think about the stress I dealt with this place I'm so glad I moved on to other places I've saved so much money and time.

My boyfriend recommended me this place as he has been going here for over a decade. I had an amazing first experience with Keath being extremely helpful.
However, I went in today and was extremely disappointed that they were trying to charge $52 to install a Costco battery I brought in. I only scheduled my oil change there to support a local business expecting the battery change to be a quick and easy swap because it's a job I could do myself in five minutes. I was willing to pay some amount for the service but I found $52 to be a near scam price for a battery that doesn't have a complicated installation.
Every other time I have had to change a battery for my car, it was free to have it installed at various different retailers. I was also informed after the oil change that the EPS in my car could not function because my battery was so low. I am surprised they let me leave the shop with my vehicle in that condition. Fortunately, I am staying less than five minutes away but it certainly was an experience driving without power steering.
So, when I got home, I did the job myself in 5 minutes. I wouldn't have waited the entire weekend with no car to get the oil change if I knew they were going to charge that much to add on a battery change service.
I'm really quite disappointed.
AZ Automasters is the only shop I fully trust with my vehicles. They’ve always been reliable, honest, and quick with any repairs or maintenance I’ve needed. Truly a hidden gem. I recommend them to anyone looking for a shop they can count

Mike the owner reached out and made it right with a full refund. I do appreciate him reaching out and apologizing. I will try the shop out again should I ever need anything done as I feel this is not a common occurrence at this place.
Well I came to this shop because of the positive reviews. Took my car to get some suspension work done and the first picture is what I got sent home with. They left a gap between the control arm. They had called me and asked if the car was in an accident or something because of the gap left after replacing the arm but it’s never been in any accidents. I had the car on Jack stands the day prior to taking it in because I was going to do the job myself and it did NOT look like that. My guess is they bent the frame when prying the old arm out. I called once I got home (this is when I inspected the work) and was told they’d call me back, they did not. I went in the next morning and was told “well we can put it back on the lift and check it out, but I’d just drive it like that and come back if you have any issues.” Crazy! Was told that they trusted their techs word and his work. That’s a lot a of trust on somebody that left my car this way. I ended up fixing it myself (picture 2). The wild part is when I was fixing it myself, I noticed the sway bar end link was NOT bolted on and they trashed my brake dust shield on the passenger side (picture 3). Not gonna say avoid the place as plenty of people have left great reviews, but definitely check their work prior to signing anything or leaving the shop. Paid $500 for this. It’s just unacceptable.
Had them replace lower ball joints and sway bar links in my 09 ranger. They did a great job for a fair price. My parents used them a while back as well to replace an intercooler in their vehicle and they did that great too. Highly recommend!

I tend not to write many reviews, but wanted to take a moment to show my appreciation for AZ Automasters. To make a long story short, I had the same mechanic for a while and he moved. I've always believed that you need to keep the same mechanic that you can trust. After tons of review searching and price checking, I landed with AZ Automasters.
The entire experience from beginning to end was professional, enjoyable, and cost efficient. I needed a lot done on my vehicle and AZ Automasters came in between 27-45% cheaper than every other quote I got. They kept their word on the timeline that it would take. They even called me when a part was going to be $10.00 more than they initially quoted me.
Not only would I recommend AZ Automasters, I will be continuing to use them going forward for both of my vehicles. The services that I had done were: A/C Compressor replacement, Radiator Hose (both upper and lower) replacement, and Oil Change on a GMC Terrain.
They were able to get my car diagnosed and repaired within 3 days! Where the dealerships were quoting 5 to 10 days just to diagnose... My extended warranty covered pretty much everything. I will be coming back for all future Repairs and routine Maintenence! They are amazing!!

Keath, May and the auto techs are AMAZING!!!! They are very attentive with any questions you have about your vehicle! I have serviced my 2018 Rav4 twice here and will go back over and over again. MY VEHICLE ALWAYS COMES OUT BETTER THEN EVER !! I truly recommend coming here for oil changes alignments, brake exchanges, etc!!! Az Auto Masters are praised by me and my husband for their honesty and quality of work. Before they proceed with their work, they call and ask for your approval with pricing. I found AZ Automasters after having a nightmare of an experience with another dealership. I was really struggling on what to do with my situation after spending a ridiculous amount of money and still having the issue with my car not being fixed. Mike at Az automasters was so patient and HONEST. He walked me through everything and made sure I understood what was going on. I brought my new truck in for an inspection, and Keith did a great job! I was very happy with the inspection work they did,, and the fact that they didn't find anything major. The best part of the whole experience was the bill. All he asked for was a decent review. If I need help with this truck I'll certainly give them a try.
The only place I will take my car. They do great work, I've never had an issue after a visit. Don't have to wait more than a day, if at all, for a service appt.
The staff are really the shining stars here. Very friendly, helpful, and have never once tried adding services to my visits, unless they find it's required, and then they provide very clear rationale.

This is a great privately owned shop that has some good talent in the shop... They like using Fel-Pro gaskets even on Euro vehicles which I disagree with 100% but hey it's their shop and they call the shots and I hear that they recently changed that gasket policy and I meant to leave a 4 star review last time and now I am giving 5!!! All in all can't say a negative thing about these guys in Chandler and Jon Kroll in Gilbert was the guy who helped me, he was amazing but I heard he is already gone... Oh well that is the business I guess...
AZ Automasters did an outstanding job on my 2008 C6 Corvette. They installed a full exhaust system along with several other power upgrades, and the difference is night and day. The car is making a ton of power now and sounds absolutely amazing—aggressive, clean, and exactly what I was hoping for. What really set the experience apart was the owner’s involvement throughout the entire process. He was hands-on from start to finish, making sure every detail was dialed in and that I was completely satisfied with the results. It’s clear these guys know performance and take pride in their work. Highly recommend AZ Automasters if you want serious results and top-notch service.
I'm a single mom and I have used these guys before. This time I was in a real jam and they came through for me for 1/2 of what a different shop wanted to fix my brakes. They've always treated me well and taken care of me. As a woman it's hard to find a place to trust when it comes to your car because some places try to take advantage of you but AZ Automasters is definitely a trust worthy place to take your car for anyone especially us women needing to have their car repaired.
Keith was an amazing help when my entire engine needed replacing. He was very patient in explain what had happened to my car and why it needed reolacing as well as awnsering all my questions. He looked up used and new engines and compared pricing and presented the information to me with no pressure to make a decision on how to proceed. Once I did my homework and decided to have them do the work, the were quick and efficient. About a week later, the weather warmed up and I went to turn on my ac. The fan was working but no cold air. I dropped off my car and they took a look at it. They honored their work warranty and fixed the problem and I had my car back in a day. Extra bonus, they replaced the battery in my fob. They are my choice for the care of my car and I HIGHLY recommend Az aautomasters!!!

I found this shop via a Google search. The reviews were great. I was given an opportunity to do business with this repair shop, and they did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and in good hands. The staff had a great rapport with all who came in. They are friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and keep a clean shop. I was kept informed of my repair and future repairs that I would be in need of. Az Automasters truly live up to their name and great reviews. I look forward to doing business with them again in the near future.
Great service at a reasonable price. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that I had to bring the truck back several times for the same issue. However, they handled it well under warranty. The shop can get busy, so wait times can be a bit long, but overall, it’s an excellent place for repairs.
Not for sure if there is new management or what's new here but, this guy Keith was great. Keith kept in touched explained everything well and helped me figure out cost-effective ways to much needed repairs. Keith respected my business and looked out for my pocketbook. Oh and last he showed empathy and kindness which in this day in time we are lacking. I don't know where he came from but he is a great look for the company!!!
I want to give a shout out to Jesse and Chris. They are the front line of this business. Took my 2002 C5 in a few times for repairs, maintenance and upgrades. Had an issue with a check engine light. Having to take it back a few time but they took their time, assessed and repaired. The car is running better then ever. The owner Mike came out, took time to talk to me and talked about all the cool things they could to my car. Thank you all for great experience and a place all my family friends can take their car! Also, the animal cookies & Gatorade were a great touch.
