LIARS! I brought in Pure Metals: copper, aluminum, steel. They gave me scrap price!!!

The guy at the weighing station was courteous however pricing for what was brought was not it.

So far we are very happy with their service! We got way more for a 100 lbs rehumidifier compared to the other recyclyling place on Main st in avondale.

I don't recycle to make a lot of money. I recycle because I want to do my part in keeping as much out of our landfills as possible. When I pull up to the curb and start unloading my bags of cans and plastics, someone always comes to my car to help me take them to the scales. They always show me how many pounds of plastic and how many pounds of aluminum. I will always be sure to give them my card to be stamped. In the past, you would only need 10 visits to get the $10.00 bonus. Now you need it stamped 12 times. Once again, I will not get rich off them, but I appreciate that they are always friendly and helpful.

They paid me .30 cents a lb for my scrap clean aluminum. Everywhere else is paying .50 to .60 cents a lb. I feel like they ripped me off. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know not to go there.

Went to this place today because it was 8 min from my house. Wasn’t expecting to much. Was pleasantly surprised when their scale matched exactly what I had weighed at home. Quoted 70 cents a pound was actually paid 80 cents a pound for my aluminum cans 250lbs. In and out very fast. Guys were very helpful, helped unload truck. Very happy with my experiences.

Very friendly as they rip you off, didn't notice until I left as they rushed you in and out and 8 had the infant with me. they swapped the weights of my steal and aluminum on top of that over half my aluminum weight was clean un painted aluminum they didn't seperate the difference out labeled it as all painted clean aluminum for payout. I only did a small load of garage clean out, so maybe it shorted me $20-30. It's my fault for getting distracted, and I look at it this way. Maybe they needed more than me, but just be aware if you scrap here.

I like it here compare to a lot of other scrap yards. They are very helpful and seems me that they are very honest and fair in price.. Now that I found them I wouldn't go anywhere else..

Super nice staff, very helpful, crew unloaded my trailer. Used the drive thru scale and got paid across the street at their office.

I'm not sure what steel prices are, but I took steel security doors to them on 8/26/23. They weighed 150lbs total and I was given 5.15 cash... Is this the going rate???

We used to recycle in California, and although the rates are a bit different due to certain taxes; it was easy for us to see that we were being cheated. Got 14 bucks for 50 pounds of cans and bottles. Not only that! But last time, we went with significantly less stuff and got around 26 bucks. Meaning that this place is neither reliable or consistent. Definitely not coming here again. They say there are different rates for aluminum cans and plastic bottles, yet they weighed them both together even though we had separated them. So how exactly did they differentiate the weights and prices? Also, we got 2 cents PER POUND for bottles, which is ridiculous. I'm sure they make a big profit from cheating people. My advice is: - Try to weigh your stuff beforehand. - Go somewhere else.

Most of the comments I see that are complaining is not on the company, it's on you! These guys are awesome and give the best price they can. There are some places that can give you more but these guys are not a big business. Whatever price they're given you, They're not making much more than that. They are built to pay, Including the employees. A lot of the guys can't speak English very well, but even so, they are very helpful and always nice to me. I literally go here every week with the scrap aluminum from my company. The people with these Negative comments seem like snobs. Thirty cents for aluminum is what it goes for. Add a ton of steel, two thousand pounds, is like a hundred bucks.( or maybe it's 1000 pounds, I can't rememeber). But Either way, four hundred pounds of steel isn't worth really much.

These people are going to try and pull a fast one. Would recommend driving literally anywhere else. They ripped off my grandmother and girlfriend, because they didn't know standard pricing. They found out after leaving that they received less than a tenth of the scrap's recycling value. 0/10 stars

They totally ripped us off. Never go here. Brought in an overflowing truck worth of materials. They gave us $0.04/lbs when it should be AT LEAST $0.10/lbs, according to everyone else. Also, driving out of their lot, we got a screwdriver in our tire and had to replace that as well. We walked in with an entire truck load of metals (440lbs of metal, 16 lbs of aluminum, motor, and some cables) and walked out with $35. It doesn't make any sense. Its worth the gas money just to go to Goddess Scrap where they will pay you the actual amount.

These guys here are unrealistic they pay nothing close to what they say they do 5 min before you get there.and they are over 50% less than other scrap yards like today we got $40.00 per ton when we called they claim prices to be $65.00 per ton . We should of stuck with fast cash at $110.00 per ton .Now we will never go back there after this and we have a good 4-5 more truck n trailers to haul off..screw them thirsty shysters.

WEIGH YOUR CANS BEFORE GOING HERE!!! I definitely had at least 50lbs on one bag!!

I called for a price quote on aluminum cans, weighed them prior to taking them in, and had my wife complete the transaction. The price, weight and total were all 100% correct. Contrary to some reviews I've seen this place is completely honest and professional. 5 stars!

If you are an older lady like I am, this place will cheat you by about half. They are friendly but favor men and business customers and will cheat whoever they think is an easy mark.

Used this place many times and never had a problem until today. Was shorted $110. When I called them to see about fixing the problem the 'boss' would not even get on the phone. He swore up and down that he gave me all my money and there was going to do nothing. Dont trust this place and go elsewhere.

Low balled , the total at the end is not what he goes off , talks to much about them not being a big company. And on the last weight didn't want to separate the cat 6 from the romex. That really sucked selling them the business. Careful not to trust them !!!

Called out weight before our stuff even hit the scale. I realize you do something long enough you get a good sense of weights, but the scale is there for a reason. This last visit was a bit shady, if my next visit feels the same, I will find somewhere else.

Well, the scale showed a higher weight than I was reimbursed for so if you want what you should have been paid for, go elsewhere. Not a family member or friend so I can't help boost ratings. The facility is nothing like it is shown in the pictures. I had to park the street and they were kind to unload things. I will be sure to go back to my usual place which pays more, is honest with weight and pictures of the facility are real.

They were quick,fast and honest. Brought them m copper weighed it in front of me and paid me for all my weight at 1.7 a pound for clean copper #2

Good only for a last resort. Nice service, but not very honest workers. Will take the items out of your vehicle for you, but may not actually add everything you brought to your total. No actual parking, and if you drive into their "drive-thru" you might run over a nail or some giant piece of plastic you just watched them throw. Very dingy, grimey, and there is an intense odor. 2¢ a pound for electronics, depending on their mood that day.

Had 40 f****in pounds of aluminum and got 8 bucks.. THEN he hands me the ticket the SAYS 40lbs aluminum and zeros on the weight with 8 bucks written on it.. Dirt bags with no shame
