Had an amazing stay at Jake's Corner RV Park! The management was fantastic—always available and quick to resolve any issues. The park itself is welcoming, safe, and a great place to relax. Highly recommend!
A lovely general store. Ran in to use the restroom and grab some water and got to meet some friendly people and a lovely dog. If you're passing through and need a snack or drink, I recommend stopping by. :)
Amazing hospitality!! We are cyclists from New Zealand, cycling from Calgary to Phoenix. Jakes Corner was our last stop. The general store looked after us for the night. Great pizzas and good selection of groceries.
This corner store has 2 pumps and both were out of service. Looks like the corner store is also temporarily closed for construction. I also didn’t have service to get back on the road. Would be great if that was reflected on Google so you aren’t going out of your way. Just drive 20 more mins towards Payson and there is so much along the Main Street.
Great place to visit. Very friendly and helpful clerk. I recommend stopping in here if you're ever in the area. Thanks for the raw sugar to go in my coffee. It sure helped get my long drive off to a good start.
vary cool place to stop! they had lots of local souvenirs and things to look at the prices are pretty good also. I love the wall of all the hunters in there area it makes me want to plan a camping / hunting trip back there.
Love love love this store. The emoyees are amazingly nice. My favorite part of this place besides the murals is the homemade items and goodies. If you need an adult drink the bar is a hop, skip, and a jump away, as well.
We stopped on our way home from a Roosevelt Lake camping trip and we were utterly charmed. Absolutely, positively charmed.
They've got a bit of everything. Groceries and supplies for sure. And pizza and sandwiches of course. Fountain drinks, and I think coffee as well though I wasn't looking for it at the time, and all sorts of energy drinks and the like too, whatever you need to fuel you. But also honey from local hives, and spice rubs from a local baker and caterer. And arts and crafts from local artisans - jewelry, wall art, knick knacks, quilts, etc. And vintage clothing items and accessories, and antiques, and bits of olde timey nonsense. And actual furniture - solid wood desks and bookshelves and baby furniture. There's even a gas pump out front, and a bar across the lot. It's a sort of One Stop Shop for all of the things you need, and for a bunch of stuff you probably don't need but that you will still want.
We do quite a bit of road tripping around Arizona, we find ourselves in quite a few out of the way places, we encounter lots of souvenirs and lots of nonsense. This is the first shop of the sort I've felt the need to advertise for. Truly, it's small and lovely and you would be remiss to skip it.
7/2/21 Jakes is back open.
I report them closed but they have new owners from Ohio and they are really great. They have pizza cookin and cold refreshing beverages, fuel, and other convinience items. So glad its back open. Rode up from the valley,enjoyed a cold beverage in a rocking chair and good convo with new owners,who are very nice.
They are doing small remodeling jobs to make this a nice wayside for travelers as well as supporting the community in the area.

Really cool place. Passing through from Indiana and spent a good while checking out handmade items and trinkets they had for sale. I think it was the owner but there was a really kind lady giving me the background and more info on some of the items.
Love the place. I pulled over for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, sandwiches and pizza. But, it's ok, I had more fun talking to the nice lady telling me where she was from and how she ended up in the little town. The sandwich was good, came with bag of chips and dr. Pepper lol...I love this whole on the wall eateries. Stop by if you are passing by...pre-warn you. Make sure you have fuel in your vehicle, they no longer sell fuel.....lol
The owners are awesome people. The store is clean and well stocked with a good variety. You can also fuel up while you're there. Please stop by this historic place. Make this your first stop on your way to Roosevelt Lake. You will absolutely love it. ❤️

Stopped to use the restroom, and stayed for the biscuits and gravy! Such a great meal. They are served daily from 6-10 am. Very friendly new owners who got started in January, 2021. Well with the stop just off the Beeline Highway. Oh, the full order of biscuits and gravy was very affordable. We got two half orders and were only charged for one full order.
This place saved our bacon. We were almost completely out of gas in 100 degree weather. Thank God we found them. They also made us a delicious turkey sandwich.
We drove up from the Valley to let our daughter play in the snow yesterday. When we were ready to head home, she was hungry. I ran into Jake's looking for a quick snack to hold her over until we could find real food. Instead, I brought out a hot, fresh cup of soup she loved so much, she ate every last drop. Jake's is a super clean convenience store with friendly service, all the essentials and a touch of home.
Quaint, home town general store. Very friendly folks working at that place. This place had many of the typical items you find in any connivence store plus more! There is a gas pump to top off. There is a cute little pooch that lets everyone know you've entered :) Reasonable prices on items for being almost the only general store for miles. We saw a Jakes Corner RV park and Jakes Corner Bar on the premises. Pretty convenient!
This little store has SO many things that you need (especially when out camping). The employees are very nice and I just love the small town feel. If camping up the road for awhile, and wanting to conserve water, it's a short ride to their location to pay a small fee for showers even. Very convenient!
A great stop on the road between Phoenix and Punkin, after a hard day's cycle. The owner is very friendly and the store had warm pizza, hot dogs and much more! Highly recommended stop on your journey.
I stop here twice a month on my way to Globe. The employees are friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of conveinence store items and also a small cafe with hot food. It is a great place to stop and stretch and use the bathroom along a road that doesn't have a whole lot of options for rest breaks.
