We had a great stay at the lodge. Rooms were clean. Food was good and service from Misty was great with Southern charm. Chris and Gigi have done a great job reinvigorating the lodge. I didn’t realize they had the convenience items as well.

Cozy rooms with windows (at least my room did) Friendly staff. Nice seating area in the back as well as small cabins. Paid $160 for the night yesterday for one of the main rooms near the cafe. My trailer and vehicle were safe and untouched ??

It's not Pie, it's a Lie. The best part of the pie was the ice cream. When you take goop and dump it in a pie crust, it is not a homemade pie. Mixed berry pie. Not a single piece of fruit. You might as well open the jelly packet on the counter and dump it on top of the ice cream. Zero fruit in their pie, just corn syrup and more corn syrup and a little bit more corn syrup with a little bit of color and flavor. These are not homemade pies. They are a lie. I did express my concern to the server, I got the standard brush off. Next time I'm up your way I will make a real mixed berry pie and bring it so you know what a home made pie looks like.

The Eureka Roadhouse Cafe is FANTASTIC! Absolutely wonderful food and superb staff. We stopped in for breakfast on 9/30/25 and was met by the owner. What a warm and hospitable human being. Such a nice, friendly young man. Very accommodating and the food was over-the-top. Much thanks to the chef and the owner/waiter. We sat at the corner table, admiring the Mantanuska Glacier and surrounding mountains while indulging in delicious breakfast fare. My wife and I visited in 2019, but today’s visit was surprisingly updated. The new owners have updated the fuel pumps (contactless pay), freshened up the restaurant aesthetics and now supports local artists and artisans by providing purchasing opportunities of their talents. I hope this place continues thriving for many years.

Long wait for food but you can tell they are trying to improve it and under nee ownership I believe.

Good food and great place to stop for gas and a fresh cup of coffee. Nice staff and even have a small store for convenience foods.

Very decent lunch options with great service. French fries are a huge upgrade from several years ago. No more thin, limp and greasy fries, just hot and crisp normal size. Still have home baked pies, nice.

Can't say enough nice things about this place! The new owners and everyone else that works there is great. The food is great and they cook with beef tallow which is a huge plus. Definitely worth the stop if you're driving along the Glenn Highway.

We booked a room for two nights to shorten the trip to spread my mother’s ashes. Drove 4 hours to get there and they informed us they “accidentally” gave our room to someone else. They called somewhere else, who had a dry cabin we could rent. We declined and drove the 4 hours home. I don’t know if they didn’t like the looks of us or are that horrible at business but having grown up in the area and stopped there 100s of times in the past, this experience put a bad taste in my mouth.

Waited over an hour for our breakfast. While the waitress was apologetic, we were missing some of our order once the food arrived and what did arrive was mediocre at best. When we went to pay we let the staff know that some of our order was missing, which was met with a bit of an attitude. After waiting for so long, it wasn’t overly appreciated and we simply didn’t want to pay for items that we never received. We will not be back.

Gotta love Eureka Lodge. I've been going there for 40 years. At the very least, you must stop in for a slice of pie. They are phenomenal. All the food is down home and delicious. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I stop every time i am passing that way.

Stopped here for lunch while cruising down the Glenn Highway. It was our first meal in Alaska and turned out it was the best one. Missy, our waitress, was FANTASTIC—great service and conversation! I ordered the corned beef hash + reindeer sausage and it was great! It was my first time eating reindeer sausage but it was excellent. I got the blueberry pie and it was excellent as well. I will definitely return here on my next vacation!

We stopped there for lunch. Great hamburger and fries!! Took a piece of pie for later. Most scenic location with the majestic mountain view outside the window.

Recently I was a bone head and got my truck and trailer hopelessly stuck while trying to park near the Lodge. Feeling completely embarrassed for my rookie move I swallowed my pride and went into the Lodge to see if anyone could help me. Chris the owner immediately offered to help out and never once made me feel bad for my poor life choice. He then spent over an hour with his skidsteer helping me move my trailer out of the way and helping with the truck. Ultimately we managed to get everything sorted out and still managed to have an awsome snowmachine day with my wife. If it wasn't for Chris and Eureka Lodge the day would have been ruined. These people are extremely generous, kind, and really exemplify the Alaskan spirit. We are looking forward to supporting their business in the future!

We came in after a quick snowmobiling out to the snow cave and ate in the restaurant. Even though it was busy, the waitress was attentive and the food came out so fast! The fries were absolutely delicious ? my husband and I had different burgers. He had the bacon cheeseburger and I had the Swiss mushroom burger and we both loved them! All around us everyone was talking about the desserts so we had to try one of the home made pies. We had the banana cream pie, and it sure did not disappoint! A huge thick slice with a flakey crust and the filling is enough to bring back the best memories of your Grandma's best pie. ? because it was busy, it turned out the owner came in to help out. He took the time to chat with us and was so kind and personable even though he had a million things he could have been attending to. We discovered he'd just taken over in January. So shout out Chris for the great food, great service, and taking the time for each customer with a great smile. We got to meet a few of the kids and his wife as well. It was an honor! We look forward to hopefully staying in one of the cabins next time we visit. Thank you!!

We stopped here after leaving John Lake for a meal. Service is wonderful!! Absolutely lovely folks there, and I highly recommend stopping in if ever you find yourself in that neck of the woods.

Love the eureka lodge. Come hook up for me electric while you ride or eat a hearty breakfast before you enjoy the hundreds of miles of trail. Even refuel your plane if you want.

Such a great getaway with great views of the mountain range and glacier. The staff treats you like family. We had an amazing time staying there. I highly recommend making time in Alaska if you are traveling from Anchorage to Valdez, you MUST stop and stay for a while or just stop to have some good home cooking!

The $0.25 coffee is legit! Loved it! The pancakes and biscuits and gravy were also pretty good too, I would totally recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat here. Here. Everyone was super nice and friendly, glad I made it to this spot.

I have heard about this lodge for 6 years now. Apparently the year I was born my future husband stopped on his way from Valdez to Anchorage and got so sick from the onions his entire life he hates onions. This story is to merely make you laugh on how much my husband has loathed white onions since. I never stop hearing about how gross onions are when I am a lover of French onion soup. Apparently this place is great except if you're a kid traveling middle Alaska in the mid 80's - cheers

After forgetting completely to get gas before leaving town they were an absolute lifesaver for us. We considered renting a room but they were closed that night so we pressed on. I also have to tell you I can't remember the last time I pumped my gas before I paid, It was a nice little trip back in time to do so.

It’s beautiful if you get a window seat. It’s so wide open and pretty. The lodge itself is very nice. You wouldn’t expect something like this in what seems like the middle of no where. If you want breakfast make sure you get here before noon. I love it. Tons of tourists, nice people and great hosts

After a couple of days camping in Wrangel National Park, I was in dire need of some good old-fashioned comfort food. The diner I stumbled upon was exactly what we needed and more. We ordered the burger and grilled cheese, and both were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy, and the grilled cheese was perfectly crispy. After not eating well for a few days, these dishes were exactly what we needed to recharge. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The diner provided a great ending to a great trip. I would highly recommend this diner to anyone who is looking for a quick and tasty meal, especially if you're coming off a camping trip and craving some good old-fashioned comfort food.

We didn't stay at the lodge but stopped at the restaurant for breakfast. The food was amazing! We got my son biscuits and gravy, which the biscuits were really moist. I got the basic breakfast with toast, hash browns, eggs, and sausage. The sausage and hash browns were so good. I'm not usually a huge fan of hash browns but I ended up eating all of them! My husband got an omelette and he said it was really good, the only complaint was it needed more cheese. We also got a slice of pie to go. The pie was okay. All in all this place is really good, and if we ever pass by in the future we will definitely stop by again.

We have eaten at this Lodge many times through the years, but not since the virus. until yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised. we were met with a friendly smile, hand sanitizer, and seating that was arranged with proper distancing. The talented staff was cheerful and busy sanitizing as customers left. Food was great as always but Kudos to all for the extra effort to keep us all safe during these trying times. Great place, good food and efficient service. Highly recommend!
