I came to get my battery tested. The male worker let me know it’ll be a minute because he didn’t feel like doing it. I sat in my car for 10-15 mins and he still hadn’t came out yet to test it. I had to go in and ask somebody else for help.Fletcher helped me out and he was so sweet and informed me of everything I needed to know

Went in for wipers on a bmw and the car needs to be put in wiper mode to replace wipers. A guy named Range was very helpful with googling and getting the car in wiper mode for replacement. Excellent customer service.

Me and my husband had to drive over 2 hours to this store to assist my daughter due to the manager insisting that what we were saying in regards to her car was untrue. Her car alarm wouldn’t go off once the manager changed the battery. The manager also somehow broke the battery cable that went to the battery but he did repair it. My husband and I kept saying what needed to be done to cut off the alarm since we didn’t have a key fob. The manager kept insisting to us on the phone that we was wrong, so we had to stop what we was doing and drive over 2 hrs to Tuscaloosa. Once we arrived the staff seemed to disappear from inside of the store once they saw me and my husband arrive. My husband fixed the car alarm in less than 5 minutes, maybe less than that. Once they saw on camera we were about to leave, they all seemed to reappear. I went inside to let them know that the situation was handled and they did not appear to care and showed no interest. The manager pretended like he did not even know what I was talking about. So, in my opinion please watch these people whenever they install anything on your vehicle. They know nothing about cars and care less about you and your vehicle. So this was a big lesson for my daughter today. Watch these people, video it if you are inclined to do so. They will deny any and everything because they are not licensed mechanics.

Both workers chewed food constantly while talking on the phone, used continuous profanity and never acknowledged I was in the store. When I walked up to the register the worker never even looked up. I can do without this store.

After dealing with the location at 5 Points, being given a bad battery and then them testing it and telling me it was fine and that they wouldn’t replace it since they’re device said the battery was fine, the employees having a bad attitude, and not seeming to know what they’re doing we came here, where it was a night and day difference. I cannot speak highly enough of Cotton and his customer service! He tested our battery and let us know right away that it was bad and immediately said they would honor our 3 yr warranty and replaced it for us with no issues, and even apologized for the other locations behavior. This will ALWAYS be the location I go to from now on when it comes to Advanced Auto. Thank you, Cotton!

LOVE THE EXPERIENCE!! My brakes and rotors were very bad and I had to find somewhere to get the parts and Advanced Auto Parts was the closest to me so I decided to go there. I was greeted by cotton and he started to tell me everything I didn’t know about breaks and what the problem was. He informed me on how to fix it, what’s the best choice of breaks to go with and the cause and effects of the problem. He also informed me on how to fix it myself and what to do and not to do dealing with my car breaks. I’m grateful for him and the knowledge he shared with me because you CANNOT get the same service from anywhere else, 100/10 experience

excellent people, they helped me get my headlight, they thought they didn't have it and they still called their competition to get it, then they realized that they did have it and they sold it to me themselves, but I appreciate your empathy, congratulations. Very nice people.

My car just stopped running off Hargrove. I got a jump and went right to Advanced Auto. The young lady that took care of me brought her battery tester out, and the machine lit up a big X. Dead battery So she kindly gave me a jump and I bought a new battery home, it is now replaced, I just need to bring the old battery back for credit. Excellent service.

Michelle was out right rude. Go to AutoZone. Chase didn't care. Sells products with no SKU number and wants to customer to provide it. Repeat use other auto parts store.

Product stocked in wrong spot, after that they changed price say it was from a different part that is showing in stock but wasn’t. Very rude and manger don’t come out but talk from back. Should be shut down.

Cons: I wasn't greeted upon entry. No one asked if I needed help. Once I did ask for help, he led me down the wrong aisle (as if AAP is huge). Pro: Upon leaving both employees told me to have a great day!

I live nearby, so I have gone to this store countless times. But today I had a fantastic experience. My brake stop broke, and the one I originally purchased did not fit because the standard was a different size than what was on my car. The cashier, Bryan, took the time to help me make sure there was no way it could be put on, then helped me find bolts that would work as a good substitute, while letting me return the now open brake stop that did not fit. I've always gone to this place before, but this time made sure I always will again.

You couldn't ask for better service in my book you get five stars they helped me out when I needed it. to help me when i didn'thave the tools to complete the job that I set out to do on my car but they helped me out I had one employee actually let me bother her personal set of tools so you don't have a lot of people that are do that so I mean I'm happy well please.

Was here with my girlfriend to get her battery checked after it died. We got that done, but when we went to get it running, it had frozen up. Turned out the ignition had probably been blown, but the staff was very helpful in trying to get what we thought was the power steering unlocked.

Poor poor service. The part was avail online for that particular store so i paid online. Git to store to wait 39 minute s with no part. Said i have to wait a hour to get one sent from 1 store to next. No manager in sight.. Im spending 250 yall!!! So i told them to return my money. I end up getting one for 50 dollars cheaper when i left

I was going to give this a 3*, but I of the employees helped after they were clocked out on his way out the door. I them saw him explaining a problem to another employee about a customer's car as he headed out.

Had problems at this store because they couldn't find my reciept on their computer. District manager and store manager did everything they could after the problem was pointed out.. Was almost positive when I walked in for my refund the manager was going to be a jerk. But surprisingly he wasn't and showed me exactly what happened and apologized.

I just moved to Tuscaloosa to goto school here from Michigan, would always goto AAP in Michigan because of the amazing service. I would say though the few times I been here, the people are rude and doesn't seem to have any interest in wanting to be there. I ended up finding a different auto part store that was far more helpful.
