Waited two hours for tow. They never came but marked it 'complete' with USAA

Y'all took my car to the wrong location. Called for an update hours later and they said they never got my car. Called my insurance and they had it marked as delivered. I had to call blindly to all the shops in the area until I found it. No one is returning my calls. Car window is down with keys inside for the mechanics to use. This is highly irresponsible and I will never use you again

Wonderful experience with teaks, the driver (Jacob) was absolutely wonderful, very professional at his job. The dispatcher was very nice and caring they truly want to help you get home safe

Would definitely recommend . Had a breakdown in my truck . Didn't have to wait long at all for pickup . Professional and quick . Affordable also !!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a terrible experience with Teaks Towing & Recovery. They were dispatched through Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance and claimed they were “on the way” multiple times—yet never showed up within the promised timeframe. I waited over two hours with no update or accountability. When I called to check in, I was met with rude and dismissive customer service. It’s unacceptable to mislead customers, especially during stressful situations like a roadside emergency. If you value your time and want honest, reliable service, I strongly suggest going with another towing company.

My car broke down and I was stuck on the side on the road. I called roadside assistance and they picked Teak’s to tow my car. The driver called me to confirm my location and I never heard from him again. When I checked with roadside assistance, Teak’s had canceled the call. They never called to tell me anything. I called their office and spoke with the rudest woman. I sat on the side of the road for 5 hours, at night, before roadside assistance called another service who was able to get to me in 30 minutes. Horrible customer service, little to no communication.

Chris Barnes helped me with a tow this morning. Not only did he arrive early but kept me informed the entire time. Very fast service, extremely professional and got the job done very fast. I highly recommend this company and if it’s possible to have Chris Barnes the one to help you, I highly suggest try to get his service!!! Waited over an hour for a jump start. Then they said it will take another 1.5 hours so they lied about the ETA. The ETA should have been another 33 minutes from the hour I already waited according to the tracking. However, when my insurance called them they (teaks) told them it will be another hour and a half. My advice to you if you see this company pop up for you to immediately cancel the request so you don't waste your precious time and get a reassigned to dirty south. Dirty south are way more professional. Their driver called me right away to let me know they will be here in 20 minutes and their dispatcher texted me. Stay away from this one unless they change their quality and professionalism.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Called in for a tow at 5pm with an hour 20 minute wait. We kept getting notifications that the time was being pushed further and further out. We called and spoke to the rudest female dispatcher who told us that the truck driver had taken a couple of calls before us and that we were going to sit and wait because “they are the only company that worked area”. We were on hwy 12 with a flat tire and they said it would be 4 hours until they got there. We ended up having another company it come out and help us. They were there in 30 minutes and it took 5 minutes to get the truck on the bed. Guess what? They are not the only company in the Bankhead area. I would not rely upon this company at all! They did not care that we were out in the middle of nowhere at night with no help and would’ve kept pushing us out until morning. They will not care about you either! I do not recommend this towing company.

If I could give negative stars I would. I waited in my car for 4 hours waiting for a driver to Come tow my car. Mind you it’s snowing. Could not run the engine, thus the reason for the tow. 4 hours into waiting I was told it would be 25 minutes more. 30 minutes later I called and the canceled the job. Ashley and her drive both need to be fired

Tow was requested at 9pm. ETA was changed multiple times. Now, 14 hours later I still never got my vehicle and had to have it cancelled and request a new provider.

Absolutely awful experience today!! Please understand that the dispatcher at this company, in my situation was Ashley, will straight up lie (about an ETA) to you and THEN won't take your calls!! She left me on hold for a very long time and then hung up everytime I tried to call back! I was just trying to find out where the driver was!! And, she wouldn't answer the phone when State Farm tried to call (several times!!) Driver called and let me know that "she'll tell you whatever she thinks you want to hear" and they've received many complaints about this!! What!!??? Horrible way to treat people!!

Roadside Assistance asked for a tow on my behalf and Teaks accepted it. They did not answer a single call from my insurance agent or from my insurance company. After four hours of zero contact, my tow request was canceled. I called Simspon’s Wrecking and they made it to me in under 30 minutes. Will never use this service again. Took four hours out of my paycheck and wasted everyone’s time.

Drivers don’t inspect their vehicles in Tow. Pretty sure it was the owner himself as that’s the truck he usually drives. Pulling a burned 18 wheeler cab on 65s. Rocks and garbage flew off the truck and busted my windshield and another behind me. Was told I’d receive a call from the owner but 5 days later no response. Says a lot about the company. Cut my losses and will never recommend them.

We thought our Jeep needed to be towed. It would not start even after jumping it. Michael came ready to tow, but took a look at it first. He found that a part of the shifter had broken off. It was an easy temporary fix and we could drive it back home. We just need to go buy a small part to fix it. He saved us a lot of money. Thank you, Michael!

I didn’t want to give one start bc I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but I felt the need to & I do want to bring this up. Thai place was assigned to me through my insurance’s roadside assistance. When my car broke down in elkmont, it took the driver 3 hours to get to us. I can understand if they had other people to get, but I would think that maybe they should have more than one driver considering them place is only 56 minutes away from where I was at. It still took them another hour to get to me despite sending my precise location through iMessage to their main number. The part that made me most upset is that when the driver had my car in his truck bed, he was going so fast we couldn’t keep up with him, and we (my boyfriend and i) were going over 60 mph down a back road. He also didn’t slow down at the railroad track and there was a slope. So my car nearly fell off the truck bed when he went over it. Scared us to death. He said “I forgot the track was there.” Uhhh there were signs everywhere, god forbid a train was actually coming.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience when my Porsche 911 needed a tow. The driver was great and very friendly. I’d highly recommend Teak’s.

The guy that towed my truck was very rude. Did not even want to let me ride with him to where he was towing my car. Told me that he was very busy, which I don't know what difference that made since he had to take my car to that location anyway. And when I called to complain they rushed me off the phone like they didn't care. The lady pretty much hung up in my face. Didn't apologize or anything. I will never do business with them again. Very unprofessional, not to mention the fact that it took 3 hours for them to show up. And no apology for that either

They got there way faster than the quoted time. The driver seemed a bit annoyed because I needed to change the drop off location. He said I had to go thru my insurance people, whom I was already on hold for. But the driver decided to just go ahead & take it for me. So, overall I was satisfied with my experience.

They were very understanding and went out of their way to make sure they called and let me know what the time frame was and helped me with the misunderstanding my insurance gave them. I would recommend them to any and everyone! The tow truck driver was amazing as well! He was very polite and helped me with everything he could! Thank you for everything you did for me!

I needed my car towed and they were who my insurance company selected. I was given a 90-120 minute window ( which was fine as I was at home). The driver called after 30 minutes to Let me know how long it would be and ask if I needed to ride with or need to be dropped somewhere. I thanked him and alert him know we ( me and the car) were at home and it was the one that needed to go. He checked back in with me a little bit later to update his status. When he arrived he was very polite and friendly. He got my car picked up and off to the mechanic in less than 10 minutes. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again for future tows!

My car was towed by Teak Towing on my insurance roadside service and was damage between towing service or auto repair shop. Not sure who’s in fault but I’m not satisfied with neither services. My insurance company is investigating who’s in fault.

So I’ve had two experiences with Teak’s in the last week. One was incredible and the other was terrible. My van broke down and Teaks was dispatched last week by my insurance company. That driver was incredible. Good communication, friendly, and helpful. This week, it broke down down again with the same issue. Again, Teaks was dispatched by the insurance company. Because it was in a different location, I initially scheduled it to go to another shop. However, I called the insurance company minutes after scheduling the tow and changed the drop off address because the first shop was going to warranty the work. Apparently, that address change never made it to Teaks. I even spoke with their dispatcher to let them know and she said she would keep an eye on it. When the driver showed up, he was incredibly rude and made zero effort to help. He even told me on the phone “well, I’m still going to get paid” when I said it couldn’t go to the address he had. Again, all I was asking was to verify the info from my insurance company. The driver actually left the van. I canceled and resubmitted the tow request and the same driver was dispatched. He was rude yet again and ran over a median with a bunch of large rocks on his way out of the parking lot. I’m honestly not sure how to feel about this company. I’ve had a decent number of vehicles towed over the years and these two experiences represent the very best and very worst. Because the bad one just happened, it’s pretty fresh in my mind. I understand that changes are frustrating and sometimes systems don’t work, but there’s simply never a reason to be a complete jerk.

They were very accommodating. I called to have them tow my car to the auto shop, but they were not going to be able to deliver the car by time the shop closes . So the representative was able to reschedule for a morning pick up and I did not have to call my insurance and wait a long to get someone on the phone to reschedule. Lastly, they came and got the car exactly when they said they would and dropped it off to the auto shop. Also, This was done while I was out of town and I did not stress about my car at all. Great service!

Very prompt. Great communication.while waiting. Above and beyond help from the very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable gentleman that helped me. My car charger stopped working and my phone was almost dead. I was 400 miles from home and he actually gave me his charger! So thankful!

Towing was requested at 9:30. Was given an ETA of 11:10-11:40. Called at 12:00 and was told they were 15 min. Away and discussed service needed. Not sure if it was mixed up with another call, but person I spoke to was confused about service that I requested. Service was requested through the insurance and I explained that it was for a towing to a repair shop. The person I talked to said she wasn’t sure when driver would be here, they were dropping off another vehicle and not picking up phone. I waiting a little bit and called back for update and nobody picked up. I called back again another time and still no answer. I finally called another company who was able to help me in a matter of 10min.(vehicle picked up and on the road to repair shop) Needless to say service with Teak’s was cancelled. I would not recommend this company based on lack of response for service.
