Spoke with owner last night about picking up my car gave them the address and waited all night for them not to ever call me back but this morning my car gone and when I ask them did they tow it they clam they never spoke with me! So my car magically disappeared and you the only one I called to pick it! I would give zero stars if I could

I called at 10am and asked for a tow and was told it would be 2 hours. I said fine let’s make it 1pm and their dispatcher said 2pm is better. I said I’m fine with that, called at 1:30pm just be certain a truck was coming at 2pm as promised. Dispatch said let me see where the truck is. No truck at 2pm and no one has answered the phones since. I called at 2:30 no answer and still no call no show.

Wife's car broke down on way to Mobile and we needed to get it from Capitol Hyundai dealership in Montgomery to Tameron in Hoover. It's a recall issue with Hyundai so was crucial we got it there as we have been dealing with them on this. I called Graves towing and spoke with Antonio letting him know our situation. We agreed on a price and despite some incompetence by Captiol Hyundai (don't take your vehicle there) they were able to get our car to Tameron today on time. Great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend Antonio and Graves for any towing needs!

I dont normally leave reviews but I do read them. In this case, I wanted people to know my experience with this company because I chose to contact Graves Towing & Recovery because of their good reviews. When you call, you speak with the same man each time. I called requesting for my fiancé’s Ford truck to be towed from Montgomery, AL to Columbus, Ga. The man was very nice and provided excellent customer service - at first. It was around 12 PM when I first contacted him. I told him I had to have the truck in Columbus no later than 6PM, because thats when the mechanic shop closes. I asked if he could do this. He stated, “I’m pretty sure we can get it there in time. If not, are they open tomorrow?” I informed him that they were not open tomorrow & I had to have it there no later than 6PM. I told him I understood if he couldn’t do this but I would have to call someone else. The man said he would make sure it got there on time. So I decided to go with tow company & it was a BIG MISTAKE. The man calls me around 4:30 and states he’s going to be a little late. Very politely, I let him know this was an issue. I reminded him that he guaranteed delivery of the truck by 6PM and I paid him $500 to do this. I explained to him that the owner of the mechanic shop was a family friend and they were waiting on the truck to get there because their gate closes when their shop closes. The man said he had already called the shop, let them know he would be about an hour late, and offered to pay them since they would have to come back to let him in the gate. At 7:30, our friend calls us asking if the truck is coming because they had decided to stay and wait the extra hour. This time, my fiancé calls the man & HE HAD NOT EVEN PICKED THE TRUCK UP YET. *Remember the truck is going from Montgomery to Columbus. My fiancé asks why the truck was not delivered on time, like promised. The man STATES HE NEVER TOLD ME HE WOULD HAVE THE TRUCK THERE BY 6. I grabbed the phone & reminded him specifically of the conversation we had & how I was respectfully ready to call another company that could get it there on time. The man called me a liar & also stated he didn’t tell the mechanic shop it would only be an hour late. My fiancé stated that it was unlikely for both me & the shop to be lying about this. The man starts YELLING at my fiancé & asks if he wants the truck picked up or not. No we don’t. Now we’re are stuck waiting until Monday before the truck can even be looked at. Oh & he also lied about offering to pay the shop owners for their time. Once we realized what was going on, I had to call them and ask if he actually said that or not & of course he didn’t. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
Rude and liars. The price quote for towing a vehicle has changed several times. The 1st call it was considered to be outside of city limits which brought the price over $80. The 2nd time it was considered in city limits and $75. When asked if they could provide a quote based on actual mileage the price was $3.50 per mile and then he rudely added PLUS $75 to put it on there. 😂
